  • Quite a few plants are illegal for various reasons. The reasons for making tonka bean illegal are lousy! Tonka beans are an easy-to-grow leguminous tropical tree with seeds that can be used as a marvelous spice and a perfume. Think toasted vanilla with caramel notes. Delicious!

Tonka beans are the fruit of a South-American rain forest tree that belongs to the legume family. In South America these great canopy trees are a valued hardwood species whose timber is used in construction. In the rain forest various parts of the tree are also used medicinally, but internationally only the bean has ever attracted any attention. The crinkly black beans don't look like much, but they have a unique sweet and musky scent that is both dark and seductive. Their aroma is mostly due to a substance called coumarin, tiny white crystals that form a thin crust over the wrinkled surface of the bean. Coumarins are common in the Clover family. They also lend Woodruff and Sweetgrass their characteristic sweet aroma. Tonka bean extract has been used as a flavouring agent in numerous foods, cosmetics and tobacco. Although coumarin forms the basis of blood thinning drugs such as Warfarin, it is toxic when ingested in large quantities. It is a suspected carcinogen and has been banned in many countries. However, Tonka bean extract is still sometimes used as a chemical base material for making cheap Vanilla substitutes.

glycerin is something that that I wrote about extensively years ago because glycerin uh from from licorice root protects the liver from damage caused by acetaminophen as well as alcohol. So, uh, in in fact there was a at 1 point there was a company that was trying to add glycerides and licorice root extract into its vodka products. In the United States Days so that you wouldn't suffer as much liver damage if you drank a lot of vodka, right New Year's Eve, whatever and you know what the FDA would not allow them to do it. Because the FDA wanted maximum liver damage for all the reasons that you and I know but uh glycerin personally if if I were to ever take acetaminophen, you know over the counter very common painkiller that by the way doctors tell parents to give your child that uh, Tylenol, uh, when you take a vaccine and the child has a fever just to give them Tylenol know you should be giving them probably, uh, lobilia a form of of nicotine like molecules as well as glycerin Horizon. Great video, loved for several different reasons! My youngest was just joking a little while ago that she was picturing me out in the middle of the night and getting arrested for guerilla gardening (related to me burying nylons filled with rice out in local woodsy spots and having to go dig them up again later, recommended to me in a permaculture group recently in a discussion about ideas for my spot and its needs). Now I need some tonka beans. Naturally. And I may need to do some real guerilla gardening too. Everyone needs a little fun in life.

Natural Law, Common Law, Constitutional Law all override Statute Law, despite what modern, so called legal studies texts might claim to the contrary. Bottom line: It is you God given right, that's why the system has tried so hard to 'educate' people away from God & the power that comes from having a personal relationship with Him. "Then God said, “I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food." Genesis 1:29 "... God saw all that he had made, and it was very good." Genesis 1:31. Even cannabis was God given for the benefit of the people, not the state to legislate against for the benefit of those that have & continue to harm humanity. Good on you guys & Tonka Beans.

In hoodoo, tonka bean is a wishing bean that promotes love luck. Mix this with cinnamon, vanilla, if you are lady, one other ingredient that had to do with your cycle that I will not mention here, and you got yourself a real, working love potion.
Also, you can still grow it indoors with a hydroponic system. All you need is a grow light, some water, and some fine potting mixture. I had used Click and Grow in the past, which is a nifty device that has a timer on the grow light it came with, along with a water tank, perfect to grow your own Tonka bean indoors lol

The FDA force fed ridiculous amounts of the sassafras oil (safrole) to rats and some got cancer. Safrole is present in things like nutmeg and cinnamon too, and isn't even soluble in water. So now you cant commercially sell it to use in things like root beer anymore.

I was surprise to hear Tonka bean is illegal, I grew up eating it as a fruit and then we dried the seeds, as to get the bean, so to be used for baking or cooking. And we were never limited to the amount we can consume. Wow, always interesting to learn something new.

Okay, wait before we get to the next ingredient so glycerin again. That's the way I pronounce it's funny you and I have a little bit different ways to pronounce these ingredients but glycerin is something that that I wrote about extensively years ago because glycerin uh from from licorice root protects the liver from damage caused by acetaminophen as well as alcohol. And and by the way before you go to the third ingredient, I want to say we've also tested your product in our laboratory, by the way, because you know, that's what we're famous for doing. We do all the tests we test for e.coli and salmonella we test for heavy metals and we test for glyphosate and other things and uh, your your product of course since Ed group does the manufacturing its Ultra Ultra Clean like Ed group if if there is somebody in this industry that's as closely aligned to cleanliness and Purity as we are. www.brighteonDOTcom/f39ffe14-0677-4f47-853b-0b3baa37b6a9

When the weather is bad, our newspapers get delivered in bags that look a lot like the ones you planted your Tonka beans in. IDK what plastic your bags are made from (my guess is LDPE#4), but ours are made from HDPE#2, & about 3 times as long. Perhaps I'll save a few for the garden instead of recycling them all. If that 1 rain barrel is all you have, a good investment would be a few more of them.

Fellas i don't get it,.. Why's it illegal??? Although cinnamon isn't?? Also cinnamon can be toxic in large enough dose. I don't recall where i saw it but someone was trying some type of challenge; they were eating large amount with spoon, someone inhaled some while eating it. Idk exactly the process but it settled in the lungs? causing major problems. I recon it permanently scared their lungs ,and the toxicity well i'm not certain if it was due to inhalation or eating.
So is coumarin{''✌ toxic substance ✌ ''} and cinnamon similar? Well a bleach it toxic if ingested but not illegal. The same goes for many household products. This Tonka Bean i haven't even heard of until now. Does it have halucinigens, or euphoric characteristics??? What's all the fuss?? Why, is it illegal to grow or possess?🤷‍♂️,.. 💩🤪.. Although interesting all in the same.. Hearing about this reminds me of castor beans.. From what I've been told nd read about those are some bad muh'fukas',.. Very toxic, yet not illegal . Kinda strange ain't it???🤔.

Humans would need to eat an unreasonably bovine amount of tonka bean to fall ill. The shavings of a single bean is enough for 80 plates. At least 30 entire tonka beans (250 servings, or 1 gram of coumarin total) would need to be eaten to approach levels reported as toxic-about the same volume at which nutmeg and other everyday spices are toxic.
