I'm happy there are more Desperate housewives fans. I thought I was like the only one. I'm 27 now and my mom introduced this show to me at a young age and I fell in love with it. To me it's the best show ever created.

My favorite was how Gaby ended up with two girls who were the polar opposite of her lol. Constantly testing her patience and giving her a run for her money 😂
I was kinda disappointed really... it would've been really interesting for Gabby to actually be a good mother to a girl just like her and to give her a family she never had...

I seriously HATED the fact that they did that. We watched so many seasons rooting for Susan and Mike to get together through Edie and Kathryn and then again for them to succeed after leaving the lane. It felt like the moment they got back to Wisteria Lane, he died. But to be fair, they couldn’t have killed Tom or Carlos. And literally like 90% of Bree’s husbands/bfs have died so the next option was Susan
I really felt Julie's growth on the series. I binged watched this and forgot that each season was made like months or years apart, so whenever Julie comes in I would think damn she grew up! she went from this smart kid who helps her mom date to this woman who dated a married man and who got pregnant while in college. I love how she grew up physically and mentally.

I never identified with any of the gossip girl characters, wtf, and so many others didnt eather, only people who could possibly find themselves in those people on the screen were Manhattan brats. Which is really not many when compared with the rest of the world. Why people are watching it? Because there is a somewhat good storyline. Pure entertainment!
I think the only actors who spent a large period of their life on the show were Andrew and Julie. Most of the other kids were only there for 2-3 seasons or came in and out a lot, like Danielle. I'd like to know what it was like for Andrew and Julie's actors to actually grow up on the show.

Stuff that has nothing to do with this kind of show but STILL, Desperate Housewives is the show I already watched like 7 times and will continue to watch until I die haha. I began watching Desperate Housewives when I was eight, now I'm twenty. It is still one of my all time favourite shows! The storylines and characters were amazing. It honestly taught me so many important life lessons. My heart hurts thinking about it. ♥️😭
I started watching after the show ended and watching it when i was 14 and now i’m 19 and at the end of the show for my 3rd rewatch. Love the show. My favorite kids of the show were Juanita and Celia 😂 they made Gabby crazy and i loved Gabby so much more after the time jump. Her and Bree had the greatest character development but especially Bree.
Andrew, like Bree, had one of the best character arch’s on the show. The actor who plays him was super talented. The actress who plays Julie seems to be like her character in these interviews. A bit of a know-it-all maybe.
I think it's amazing that all of these kids have grown up to be great normal people. We never heard of any mistreatment or neglect on set. We hear about young stars missing out on education and life in general on these sets... not these kids. They were handled correctly and still got to be children while they worked. The gold standard of the treatment of children on set.
This is the show not just me but all my three brothers and later on my husband loves to watch with me haha! So so good never gets old🦋 and also the first show ever what feels so real life to me. I mean seriously if they would live next street real people

She became so thin in the first place because she was unhealthy. Her sister on the other hand let her body naturally grow. They are both healthy. And using the word fat to describe someone can be incredibly hurtful.

Even later you can see similarity with Penny and Julie (this time from Susan) as those responsible kids.

I think it was supposed to be a 10/11 to 15/16 type time lapse. If my math was correct, the young actors who play the scavo twins were about 11 before the 5 year jump.

But of course this means that they should be 14 in season 5...which, given their storylines in that season, is utterly ridiculous. The writers on the show were very 'casual' with the 'age maths' in general...there are SO many age discrepancies with all the kids.
