The 2022 BMW S 1000 R is the all-new naked sports bike from BMW Motorrad. Though it may not appear at first to be all that different to the outgoing model, this is a proper next-generation product. Believe me when I say that every little piece is a little bit better. The S 1000 R is a basically a superbike, so watch my full review to hear everything I have to say about this motorcycle!
Please like, comment and share this video with others, it would be greatly appreciated!

Can't imagine where the RR goes from here, but I hope that'll be in my hands sometime in the future!

WHY would you have the viewers look at your noggin while riding?! What made you think that was a good idea?! We want to see what the rider sees. DISLIKE

I am looking for a sporty road bike. Its this or the new Speed RS. I am can’t wait to get out and try them both when the weather improves in the UK.

great video! I have a few questions if thats alright...
    1) What about wind / how it feels going at speeds of 110-130km/h
    2) How many km per tank does it get?
i.e. if i was wanting to go 200km on the 401; would i make it there without needing to fuel up? and would it be comfortable?
    Thanks so much!

Thanks for the comment! Wind was much of issue with a slight lean forward on the highway. Didn't encounter any significant sidewinds that impacted the bike during my weeks ride. I believe the claimed range is 250km per tank, but I exceeded that with an even split of highway and city riding, so I can't promise anything, but I think you'd be safe in that respect

I have one annyoing problem with the S1000R. The rearview mirrors are resonating too much and it makes them useless. But I love it so much!

I removed mines and now have Rhinomoto heavy bar ends and CRG mirrors and it much better. Another issue I have with it is the bars has a bit of vibration at certain RPMs but the bike is still good.

Hey man, great review, I watched both of your videos of the Honda CB1000R and the BMW S1000R.
We are still waiting for the Honda here in the US, I already secured one.
My question is, since you tried both bikes recently, which one do you think is better in terms of value, parts, comfort and long time ownership.
I'm not going to ask about power since the BMW clearly wins here.

I had the CB before the S1000R, and although I can sense the additional power up top with the BMW, the Honda felt more fun. Maybe because it had a little more of a relaxed stance, definitely improves riding comfort. The styling of the CB really speaks to me, and due to the lower asking price, I would own the CB over the BMW without question. I would think the BMW would have a higher maintenance cost, due to all the new components on this product, but time will have to tell in that department.

@@maxlandireviews can confirm, I used to own an s1000r and while it was great on all levels, it's not THAT fun (perspective here)
