I think the Iranian/ Egyption style music makes the sketch funny too. I think the priest is meant to be a Greek Orthadox priest, his accent does sound Greek (like my dad lol). Creases me up when he asks for a luckidatuv.

They rely on swearing and abuse, rather than trying to mroe subtly undermine the conversation. Essentialy, fonejacker has refined the concept.
