Bindi is the most well trained dog I've seen outside of dogs that work in the military. You should be very proud of yourself for training your animals so well.
Bindi is one of the best trained, most well behaved dogs I have ever seen, as well as being one of the smartest. She's definitely special, great job! I also love the pest control using trained natural predators; it's smart, humane, and eco-friendly.
Wow Bindi is a good dog for everyone to have a great pet for a good person to have a good life together with her she is a wonderful dog today I am very proud of her today?
Well, done Spark catching the Muskrat. And well-done Spark the next day cashing. Well, done Bindi for going down the pipe and getting the Muskrat. Very funny watching Spark chasing after Bindi because she had the Muskrat. Sending love to all the Family, Spark, Bindi, all Minks and Dogs. From, Jacqui, Perth, Western Australia.❤
i dont believe so, for joseph to have at my count at least 4 '1 in a million' dogs suggests to me HE is the 1 in a million at choosing and training his animals.
I was watching the video when they took it down right as Spark was grabbing the muskrat. It is truly unbelievable TH-cam doesn't give you the respect you deserve for the amazing work you do with your animals. You are truly one with nature and deserve every bit of success that comes your way.
Sheep will actually eat meat if available idk why but sometimes they eat little chicks or meat you drop its repulsive to me to see but i know its just bc of my preconceived notions
Very smart training procedure there! I think that trip back home following Bindy carrying his muskrat just "ate his lunch". But he didn't forget it the next day! ❤️👍❤️
Wow! I love Bindi! Her dog breed is not my own personal preference in dogs. I prefer sighthounds. But she’s so impressive! I like how you have trained her into such a great pet and an excellent working dog. She seems to really enjoy everything she does with you. ❤
CzHello sir, behind your work, your patience and perseverance to teach animals is unique. As a trainer and experimental behaviorist, in my forty-four years of life, I had driven such a talented and capable person with great respect for his work and effort, in addition to respecting all the rights of animals intrinsically and not outwardly. Rather, I greatly appreciate your heart and humanity. I wish you and your beloved family the best of blessings and a happy generation. 🙏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you so much for showing Bindi enjoying her meal, it’s so interesting to me watching those canine jaw muscles and teeth go to work on real raw meat and bone!!
Will Spark also learn (not your intention) to hate Bindi? A couple times there, I was praying "Don't let the string or harness break, or Magnificent Bindi might be toast!" She is one amazing dog, and Spark's training is coming along nicely. Thanks for posting, Joe! and congrats for overcoming the YT "strike"! Your content is as natural as it gets.
Oh my God, the mink man, i love you so much. i loved watching your episodes with my dad back in 2020, and i love your You haven't changed your intro since then. He's passed away, and i've recently just fall back into your youtube.'s keep up the amazing work.
I learned once that my catbwould bring me mice all the time. Like allot. So we would walk around my grandmothers acreage filling a plastic bag with mice. (We would get like 2 or 3) and I would throw them at the chickens. She died very young. Hardest working barn cat I ever saw. (I used to smuggle hotdogs and meat pie to her and the other barn cats every morning, think she was trying to repay me)
Its insane to me that bindi is so well trained he doesnt even need to use practiced commands at times at one point he just says “no stay back” and she knew it was directed at her based on her starting to move towards him and proceeded to move away.
Same place I've always been. I post every single week, almost without fail. Sometimes I even post twice a week. It's incredibly rare that a week goes by where I don't post a video on TH-cam. My exclusive club gets 2-4 videos a week, in addition to pictures and written stories/explanations!
The pet food from the store is poison. I had 3 cats that all passed away this year and I think it’s because of the food. Even the super expensive supposedly all natural organic food is terrible. Next cats I get are going to be on a raw meat diet. It’s going to be expensive but I have no choice
Joseph, do you ever sell your young mink to hunting homes? What kind of set up would you recommend? We have fur farm mink here but they would attack my dogs
No Criticism but I would say this training seems to have missed an important part of: Doing the retrieval call. Unless you're now training to work without the call, may have been cutt out the video also. But i feel it was Very unfair for spark as he only heard the feeding call(bag of food) not the retrieval call.
I can't rely on him only responding to me asking him to retrieve because there are many situations I don't even know he caught something. Retrieving needs to ideally become an automatic response.
@JosephCartertheMinkMan ahh ok that makes more sense kinda what I was thinking. This method definitely will save allot of time, I hope it can be breed into Sparks future children. Thx for responding
Love how pissed he gets when Bindi goes down the pipe. Hahaha so comical.
*Spark:* _hOw DaRe?!?!_

What a great example of how cause and effect works its way into Spark's memory. Hopefully he'll never forget THIS training session. Great vid.
I could here spark cussing in mink when bindi got his musk rat! 😂😂
😂😂😂
your dog is so well trained
Never heard what an angry Mink sounds like before!😉
Bindi is becoming one of my favorite dogs all time. Boss brought me to the channel one day when i was scrolling. Your dog's are awesome🙏🏿
You've trained Bindi very well and what a great dog she's turning out to be! Here's to hoping Spark continues to grow from that experience.
I like how the Mink stands up high like a meerkat 0:44😁
Loved that grand finale featuring Bindi chowing down on that raw wild beaver meat. She must have felt so good and ready to relax with the family.
Bindi and Boss are both top notch, they were both extremely smart , hard workers and led by example. #BindiBucket , #RipBoss !!!
Y’all forgetting about Sherni 🥲

I was surprised to see the dog squat down and go into that little pipe. 😁👍
Bindi is the most amazing dog i have seen> You great job with her wow
Great video, Joseph. I hope Spark learned his lesson this time😂.
Spark a good lookin mink. Nice to see he suceeded at the end! yay yay! Bindi makes it look easy, shes super good
Wow Bindi is a good dog for everyone to have a great pet for a good person to have a good life together with her she is a wonderful dog today I am very proud of her today?
That Bindi is amazing!!
Always fascinating to watch these little predators!...Well done Joe, you are the mink-master!
Even though this is a show about your mink and your dogs it's also about your family. It's a family show too.
Well, done Spark catching the Muskrat. And well-done Spark the next day cashing. Well, done Bindi for going down the pipe and getting the Muskrat. It's absolutely hilarious how mad the mink gets- chittering away.
I admit I was skeptical that Spark was going to bring the muskrat back, I should have known better! 😂🎉❤
Angry mink sounds are wayyy too cute xD
20:50 lovin' that Bindi ASMR lol
I certainly hope that mink doesn’t bite Bindy for stealing her muskrat.
He would if I didn't hold him back!
wow I never knew minks are that smart, props to you for training them.. sparks is incredible!
Bindi is one in a million she is so well trained
i dont believe so, for joseph to have at my count at least 4 '1 in a million' dogs suggests to me HE is the 1 in a million at choosing and training his animals.
Glad the video came through !
They took it down and gave me a strike. I appealed the strike, and luckily they gave in and put the video back up.
I was watching the video when they took it down right as Spark was grabbing the muskrat. It is truly unbelievable TH-cam doesn't give you the respect you deserve for the amazing work you do with your animals. You are truly one with nature and deserve every bit of success that comes your way.

Awesome video Joe and thank you for sharing your life and training style with us ❤❤❤
Boon was one of a kind. I still cant believe what happened.
What happened?
You're an amaziing teacher‼️ I know it's also self taught so bonus kudos❣️🎄💕
Very smart training procedure there! I think that trip back home following Bindy carrying his muskrat just "ate his lunch". But he didn't forget it the next day! ❤️👍❤️
Impressed how well insulated the Minks body is too freezing water😯
It’s that warm fur coat he’s wearing.

This was a fun training session. I always like seeing how much personally each mink has. 😊
I love how Bindi was arrogantly trotting ahead as if to tell Spark "You snooze, ya lose!"
Bindi is a badass doggo!
I can't believe Bindi backed out of that pipe like that. Wow.
He's really pissed off 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Thank you Joseph and family, very nice upload, Bindi is a beauty. 🤗🤗🙋♀🙋♀
Those 'brrgrrwrrrwwrr' sounds, are mink sounds' o ' ?
Also loool Bindi's so precious when she exchanged the muskrat with the meat xDDDD
Bindi is AMAZING!
Bindi is just AMAZING. She didn't even hesitate to go down that narrow pipe. What a dog.
Excellent from the 🇬🇧
Joseph, does the irony of "blame the dog" make you laugh as much as I did when you said it?? 🤣🤣
Bindy is an a outstanding dog 👍🏻
I REALLY WISH whomever owns that constantly barking dog would come get it. For crying out loud 🙇♀️
i think they are next to the dogs garden.
you should use an old zebco fishing reel instead of that line. keep the line from tangling. no rod of course.
hi from the uk..👍👍🫡used to hunt using lurchers and terriers now just got myself a keen little bobtail border collie pup...she hates rats
Please come to WNC and help us deal with the rat problem left from Helene!!
3:28 Well now we all know who gets blamed for when there’s a fart inside the house

best dog ever. you can be an animal trainer
Seeing Spark go mad was the funniest thing
Seldom do I laugh at something mad but I did at Spark.
It must be nice to be water proff.
Another great video brilliant 👍top man
the noises spark was making when bindi went to go get it in the pipe... hahaha
Oh boy is Spark ticked-off.
TH-cam did it agian. Was thinking to myself that I hadn't seen your videos in a wile. Sure enough I was no longer subbed...
Welcome back!

Hi Joseph love the channel all the best to you and your family from Glasgow Scotland 🏴
I feel like the algorithm hasn't been showing me his vids either. Long time subscriber too.
Probably the case, because views on my channel has really dropped in the last year or so!
Tough love but the mink must learn.
Bindi is so well trained
Does the mink ever get cold in that water?
Yes, eventually after a few hours of swimming.
I wonder if they noticed he killed the muskrat slowly in the water?
Bindi is such an amazing and well trained dog.
Do you think the best dogs basically train themselves? My current German shepherd is a dream to train.
The sheep wants to be apart of the hunting crew 😂
Good luck to everyone today for Bindi is going well for you guys today?
Hey there
that dog is like, tonight mink you get the soap in a sock......next morning you will bring that muskrat back....you suffer we all suffer
Lamby would 100% eat little critters if she could. I've seen too many herbivores eat other animals

Hey i have been wondering Joseph
do you use the rats as food for the dogs and minks
yes, mostly for the mink. My dogs typically eat bigger animals like beavers for example.
Has he written a book about how he trains his dogs yet? I’m want to preorder
Yes.
@@brockn7878 Wait! For real? What’s the title?
@amkelle2 I'm not sure but it Must be available somewhere here in his socials.
He used to promote it all the time bitd.
@@amkelle2 oh wait ✋... not dogs. I misread it.
he has done a few vids showing very simple selection, and fundamental training. its enough to get his mindset and build on.

watching here in the Philippines
👋🙏
This was an awesome video! I love Bindi but that mink had me laughing so hard!!
Joseph, do you ever sell your young mink to hunting homes? What kind of set up would you recommend? We have fur farm mink here but they would attack my dogs
If that barking dog were my neighbor, I’d be calling animal control constantly. That’s ridiculous
Do you have some retirement plant for the mink as you have for dogs ? when they are too old to be useful for hunting ?
Yes, same thing. They just stay at home and relax.
I wonder if you could train an otter to kill nutrias
That would be pretty awesome!
@@JosephCartertheMinkMan did you ever get anywhere with the badger idea? if i have remembered correctly that is
@mindurbusiness-b3u not yet. Still a work in progress
The freezing water doesn't bother the minks?
Wild mink fish under the ice all winter long.
I feel like most mink love swimming in cold water. Their fur is very good at keeping them warm and dry.

I@@kingkev7960 I think you're thinking of the food call. Joe does it to call them to feed them and/or call mink who are not trained to retrieve.
