Any idea why he isn't in the Yorozuya's name-taking ceremony, even though he is the son of Manju I, the head of the Yorozuya house?
The young Mantarō did in fact appear in the Yorozuya ceremony at the Kabuki-za, just in smaller roles, which is somewhat justified, considering the big names that gathered to celebrate the occasion. He had a small part in Mikasayama Goten, then a slightly more important one in Yamanba, and he even appeared in a supporting role in Shidō's Sakanaya Sogorō. He has been very busy this year, paying his dues as a young actor, so let's see where his career goes!
