Honestly bro don't worry about rambling. The best part of your content for me is getting home from work, hitting the bong and just listening to your lore
Entropy is not the measure of disorder, it’s the measure of the distribution of energy levels in an object. In a low entropy object you could have part of the object in this case water, be extremely hot and the other half be cold, here we have high energy levels concentrated in one part of the object and low energy levels in the other half of the object. The second law of thermodynamics states that this type of organization statistically tends to yield into a distribution where the particles have high, medium, and low energy levels scattered all throughout the object (the water), in this case the hot water would have molecules with higher kinetic energy, and so would push against the cold water, this would transfer the energy through kinetic interactions, and also produce fluid flow in the direction of the cold water which would transfer heat, the end product is that the energy is spread.
I like the connection between Magma Wyrms and Mt. Gelmir, especially since three Wyrms can be found there: Makar in the ruin strewn precipice, another on the road to Volcano Manor, and a third beneath the Temple of Eiglay
To those of you that missed it.. “But there’s fire of every different kind of variety.. there’s frenzied flame, the ghost flame, the ancestral spirit sound track..” this shit is so funny to me 😂
At 6:40 you mention the Carians being opposed to the fire guys, but check out the Sword of Night and Flame. The Carians USED to practice fire magic too, and were friendly with the giants. So they might have been friendly to the fire monks at that time. The lore implications for that sword are just so fucked it confuses everything
I imagine it as almost a taboo weapon. Since it’s a legendary piece of carian weaponry, but also has flame properties. The carians shun flame and generally oppose it, but do see it as an option, possibly in a time of great need, hence why the sword is somewhat hidden away. Also perhaps it was made during a time that the carians were more tolerant
@@ballisticfish1212 the more I look into it the more intriguing it is. We know Rennala founds the Carian house, and is a Queen well before she married Radagon and they have children. And yet no matter how far back you look, the Carians are always refered to as a Royal Family. My thinking is Rennala had (at least) a sibling. Someone who would be her heir before she has children with Radagon. And right next to the Stargazer Ruins (which is where Rennala is from) is Castle Sol. My thinking her sibling rocked fire magic and was a "Sun king/queen" to match Rennalas Full Moon queen status. (They died. Killed by Godwyn. Hence Ranni's moon being Dark.)
i believe blackflame and Maliketh’s flame are one in the same, my reasoning? both are black, both have/had the capability to kill gods but the blackflame power was sealed away taking the redness out if it fading it to white, while Maliketh, who had the rune of death (which is red) could wield the blackflame in its original form. and both continue to eat away at your HP
Makes sense. And there's a lot of "draining of color" going on in the game. Lotta color theory in general. The black knife's skill ( as a result of the rune of death being etched on it ) looks like the corpse wax cutter skill, the skill of Maliketh's servants' weapons.
I see you didnt mention St. Trinas torch with some kind of purple-ish sleepflame. As far as i know its the only one of its kind and was wondering what you think about it, as a fellow madman
The Ghostflame and the Blackflame feel connected somehow. Not only are they visually identical, but the users of these flames, the Deathbirds and Godskins, all served the function of death before Marika sealed it away. Also worth noting is that some Black Knife Assassins appear to wield the Blackflame as seen in the end of Ranni's quest.
I took this as evidence of the split of destined death. You have the broken stolen death rune, creating the red-black and black flames, and before the flame was tamed and was used being used by twinbird and their faithful, you have the ghostflame.
The black flames on Iji are from the black knife skill. If you use that skill (or corpse wax cutter) on Carian trolls it burns them with the same black flame effect. It's the rune of death on those blades that causes the black flame. The power of destined death sealed away by Maliketh after his defeat of the Gloam eyed queen.
Omen flame I would say look similar as they both creatures of the crucible era. The black and gold flames of the omen are strangely or pretty much identical to deathblight flames
The face on the Fire Giant's chest reminds me of the face that was left on Steven Carrell's chest in 40 Year Old Virgin, when he went to go get his chest hairs waxed.

Im convinced Melina was the Gloom eyed queen and after Malekith sealed Destiny Death she was left burned and bodiless but still alive due to the role she would play in Marika's plans. She is an empyrian(possibly even Miquella's and Malenia's sister if you look at vaati's last video with the butterfly connection) and we see her gloom eyed form in the lord of frenzy ending when shes welding destined death again to kill us.
@@GabrielPereira41 Or the fact is that the gloam-eye could be a mark of death. I mean, the gloam-eyed Queen was characterized by the coloration of her eyes. Gurranq gave us a blue-ish beast eye the festers around death root… which is what Gurranq desires, and that same eye color is shown on Melina when she threatens the Lord of Frenzied Flame with destined death. Perhaps the gloam-eye is more so a curse mark characterized with wielding death 🤷♂️
Melina being the gloam eyed queen proves that radagon and marika was always one and the same, the gloam eyed queen its mentioned as something from the distant past, so if she is melina which is daughter to marika and has pink hair (a middle point between platinum blonde and red)

I always wondered why some corpses you see have moving red marks, but now I'm thinking it has something to do with the flame of ruin. Maybe that's why you see all those crucified people around the tree sentinel? I think they all have red moving marks, but maybe I'm misremembering. Maybe the Tree Sentinel is the one who hung them up their for their sin? I also think they have something to do with the Giant Faces in Limgrave that were cut from the game. Those giant heads had red moving marks too.

Oh, and also this flame is cold and applies Frost because ??? Oh Elden Ring, why must you be this way.
Do you think that the formless mother is tied to omens, as most omens actually do not use bloodflame. Dung Eater and the omens in the shunning grounds use a yellow flame. The blessing of despair ending has a yellow, pustule filled sky, with no hint of the crimson of the formless mother.
i wanted to cover it but i know so little about it or if its actually a flame but i should have had it as an honorable mention. on the st trina arrows though it doesnt look like a flame
Couldn't the black gold fire of the mausoleum knights be the corrupted holy flames of Godwynn? That was my interpretation at least. Death flames all having some core black tinges and Godwynn being the epitome of the golden order pre-assasination leads me to that, and it would make sense that his golden flames wouldn't also cause holy damage when his soul is dead and the Golden Order are keen on hiding their shame.
i think its possible or maybe some kinda of offspring of hers or even like maybe another science project of marikas, made out of the gloam eyed queens remains
If you use the black knife on the carian trolls, they get the same black flame effect as Iji. He was killed by black knife assassins so i know it's obvious I just thought it was interesting... the knife has got the same effect as corpse wax cutter cause of destined death, but why does that burn with a black flame for carian trolls? Oh... I guess cause the black flame and destined death are the same thing? Destined death is red though
It is so weird that the black knifes stole destined desth and killed Godwyn with the eclipse shotel. Because the black knifes do use the red-black flame from Maliketh but the flame of the eclipse shotel is definitely not the same as the flame from destined death. It seems like maybe the yellow flame came from the red-black flame? This idea that flames came from other flames could open up to the idea of all flames being related or maybe that all flames came from the same one. If that is the case then probably the first flame, from which all others derived, would be the frenzied flame. But then the question would be how does one flame turn into another? For a simple start, how did the red flame from the fire monks became the black flame? But also how did the destined death flame become the yellow flame? Now why does Iji have black flames on his body? Shouldn't they be the red-black flame from destined death? Also why does the cutscene says the erdtree burns with black flame when we burn it down with the flame of ruin? It could all be misinterpretations but still, it seems like the flames are all related somehow. And maybe the deathflame from death birds and the white flame from the eternal cities are two different kinds or one derived from the other? Dont how how I havent watched this video before lol great videos
I’ve heard a few TH-camrs say gurranq is Maliketh but if that true and it’s just a disguise how come you can kill maliketh and gurranq will still be alive could someone explain lol
You are marking Death to die in the future. You've Destined Death to die. Time shenannigns, maybe. Gurranq in Caelid is the 'present' one. You see the same rune of death locked in his hand. He seems to be trying to repent for Godwyn's death. I beleive Farum Azula is hidden in the future. If u give Gurr all 9 lootable deathroots, his dialogue changes when defeating Maliketh. The dragon king something-Saax is also trapped/waiting there so maybe it's like a super everjail(goal).

Fire also represents entropy, the breakdown of order into chaos. Makes sense that the Golden *Order* would oppose it.
Dont how how I havent watched this video before lol great videos
they didnt kill him with the eclipse shotel. im on mobile but will reply in full when i can
@@TheHonoredMadman damn I'm not sure where I got that from then, I was sure of that. So what did they use to kill him?
@@TheHonoredMadman yo I just noticed that Maliketh's Black Blade got both red-black and yellow-black flames
A24 reference, as in a reference to the movie midsommar?

WHAT ABOUT THE PURPLE ONE
@@DrownedLamp it would make sense because of Farim azulas time warping abilities
Crazy I haven't been subbed but I am now
