I'm tanky right now for the capture the relic weekend... I was getting wrecked straight off the jump every time I spawned but I'm glad because I finally understand what kind of insane survivability a night blade can have... I'm running 5 Mara's Balm, 5 Trial by Fire, and 2 Mighty Chudan... All heavy except the shoulder piece... (Only because that's what I had available) Dark cloak, Resolving vigor, Rally, channeled acceleration, and barrier on my back bar... Bloodthirst, mirage, relentless focus, surprise attack, bone surge and incapacitating strike on my front bar... All points into health... It's so crazy, if you play night blade predominantly, not only not having to sneak, hug walls, and pick off weak and injured players or just be support, but getting attacked for two straight minutes by 4 enemy players WHILE taking their relic and snail crawling it back to your base... It's almost addictive... And all that time spent practicing gank strategy really pays off when you can stand toe to toe... There's a giant skill gap between a decent night blade and every other class, when the night blade isn't composed of warm butter... You find out quickly that when other classes realize they can't just swat you like a fly anymore, they TURN AND FLEE!!! It's unbelievably satisfying... Honestly, I may keep my vampire armory slot set to this build... The low cost of sprint and built in invisibility of stage four sprinting on top of the unparalleled healing of a night blade is just too much satisfaction... And yeah yeah with the "this goes with this and that with that and heavy armor penalties" and all of that jazz... Try it out with any sets comparable to those sets with stamina glyphs and some of the Lord mundus slathered on top and you'll see... It's phenomenal...
There's no limit in 4man hms and vet trials, you'd only encounter bigger issues when doing vet trial hms in Rockgrove and Dreadsail Reef. I don't think it's impossible, but groups going for these hard modes usually optimize everything they can and Nightblade tanks don't bring much utility for the group
What boss setup(skills/gear) would work best running with 3dd on 4man Trifectas? I feel i can't survive good enough compared to my necro. I don't have olo sadly
Sadly I don't think Nightblade can survive every fight without a healer the way DK and Necro can. For skills just follow the setups I've shown in the guide, same with gear but you can change Olorime to PA since you dont have it. Also if you have a Templar in group then Harmony jewelry trait can be better than Infused nowadays
I have been playing MT DK for a long time. But now I have a new group, and the OT only has a DK. I am thinking of going for NB MT, as there is no other NB in the group. Thoughts?
power extraction gives minor cowardice to enemies, reduced their damage. With mass hysteria (gives major cowardice), it will reduced enemy damage even more.
Is there somewhere that the W&S damage of enemies is officially listed? I've read different things from different people, is it just 6k exactly? Wondering if you know because you mention the rough mitigations that major and minor cowardice bring which I've been wondering about for a while.
DDs in medium armor are the only ones who will need it, DDs who play in light armor will reach penetration cap without Tremorscale because light armor has passives that increases pen
You can but the issue is that Pearlescent Ward has to be double-barred and then you'd have to one-bar Turning Tide which will make it much harder to proc it
This guide is now also on my website - hyperioxes.com/eso-nightblade-tank-guide-and-build
I made a mistake while editing in the Traits chapter, Nirnhoned weapon has no use on Nightblade tank
OMG OMG OMG OMG Assassin tank guide?!?! world first wtfrick?!!?
Finally someone giving nb tank the love it deserves
What a concise informative video! I main tank but have never played a nb tank before so this really gave me some good insight. Great vid!
It's finally here !!! Nightblade tank FTW ! ! !

I have all types of tanks, but never did it with NB. Need to tryout it finally.
Yay! Thx so much for posting this!
NIGHTBLADE TANKS RISE UP
Could we have a update on this build? Since there was changes to taunting and ice staff?
There haven't been enough changes yet in my opinion
@@Hyperioxes ok thanks
Hi, whats this motif styles ? Looks very good 😄.
What content would u say is the limit for Nightblade tank? Talking about 4man hms and vet trials.

Thank you for answer
er what explantion to not have magicka blocking with ice staff? Having no recourse in case of stam heavy fights seems like an awfull idea

Good thoughts what did u end up doing? I’m trying to figure that out as welll
@@kaleb0888 I let him be MT and I switched to OT as a Necro. This works fine so far.
Isnt there a hard cap on resistances whats the point of so many reinforced?
The cap is still hard to reach even with those Reinforced pieces
I might be acting dumb but what is the purpose for power extraction?
power extraction gives minor cowardice to enemies, reduced their damage. With mass hysteria (gives major cowardice), it will reduced enemy damage even more.
@@spyingforyou6034 ah okay, I see! Thanks

nice vid 🍿
Tremor scale only will allow dds to reach pen cap in medium armor ?
DDs in medium armor are the only ones who will need it, DDs who play in light armor will reach penetration cap without Tremorscale because light armor has passives that increases pen
can u do a build for nb tank woth scribing
BRUHBRUH FIRE
This build need any updates?
You dont mention passives in this
NB tank roleplay
For a 4 man could you use pearlescent with turning instead of olo?
You can but the issue is that Pearlescent Ward has to be double-barred and then you'd have to one-bar Turning Tide which will make it much harder to proc it
