I have been using this product for the past three years. Mostly just to clean the hardwood and tile floors in my house. All the little attachments are still somewhere in the garage. With the floor cleaning, I am always amazed at just how black the cloth is afterwards! All that **** was on my floors!

I am not sure if u were using the newest model (since u said u got it on clearance), but you dont need bits at all to clean those crevices with the new version...just let the jet stream from the nozzle do the work

I just got mine and when i go to shut it off, it won't shut off with out me unplugging it. I try to press the same button to turn it on thats green. O/I. Or visa versa. So that's why im on here.
Instead of distilled water, it is alright to use the bottled drinking water or reverse osmosis (R.O) water bought from supermarkets for steaming in this steam mop? Not easy to look for distilled water.
Would u buy a diff steam mop, better brand, quality, maybe a lil more expensive? Shark, Bissel, Hoover n a ton of other brands make 1 just like this. After goin through a buncha product features n reviews on amazon I liked an outdoor/indoor bissel. U can see where they rank in popularity outa the hundreds or thousands sold on amazon (mine was 7th) n u can return too. If u haven’t got 1 yet, u should check em out on amazon..
Use the metal brush would do the tracks much better and if you can attach the angled bit onto the hose then that would be easier to handle and wouldn’t be too cumbersome to use😊

I just saw the infomercial for this on tv. Tried buying from their website for $129 😱 but the links weren’t user friendly. It kept wanting me to add and upgrade. I wanted just the product. It took me to PayPal and then I was stuck. Couldn’t find a confirmation button to actually purchase it. I was stuck in limbo. Hopefully it wasn’t fraudulent site! 🤬🥺

Hi! Thanks for your comment. That's exactly what I bought this for. Unfortunately it really only worked 1 or 2 times and then started sputtering and I got burnt... I can't recommend it. The search is on for a replacement but it seems like they just don't make many good steam mops in general.
After you've used the plastic brush part if you put boiling water over it the bristles should go straight again and after its cool it should be as new or at least this is what I found with mine.
Just got it from Amazon--came with no instructions on how to put it together, so I had to look on utube. I tried to clean around the sink faucet in the ktitchen and after trying for like 10 minutes only part of the dirt came up. I then tried the tiles in the bathroom and only the easy dirt would be removed and a lot of the dirt would not come off from the tiles no matter how long I let the steam on with a brush and without . On television it removes all the dirt, seems to me they just put the dirt on. The product doesn't do the job they show on tv. On a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best I would give it a 2. Don't waste your money on this mop.
Nothing wrong with it but some people have allergies to strong cleaning chemicals and being able to blast away dirt with just steam is a plus for a lot of people. Do what's best for you.

Great set up Video, I had the same one, it got clogged with hard water. I'm buying a new one. My suggestion is to add Vinager to the water to prevent the clogging. But I do love that mop.

Dont like this mop left my floor soaked due to the tube steam comes from was faulty after so many emails to replace the mop I have now been sent a replacement that I cant use unless I a travel adapter due to the wrong plug wont be buying anything from thane again
I had just ordered this and used it once, it seems like a very cheap product and dealing with the company is even worse, so I m thinking of sending back even before the warranty is up. Did it break or just wasn't satisfied with it.
Went to use it on Sunday and steam wouldn’t travel through the mop adapter to the mop. The steam just kept coming out the back of the unit. I undid all the screws, opened it up, and a hose was disconnected that attached to steamer head. I reattached the tubing and it works properly again. Point being, the Hoover model is perfect either.
This device does nothing that a bit of elbow grease can’t do. On wood floors it leaves an opaque smear that’s on low setting. Windows may as well just do it traditional way
Not true I have used everything to clean dog pee from my carpets. I did prespray carpet cleaner on the spots first, but using my blacklight. I found the spots pretreated it and then steam cleaned and it came out. I have used everything, this finally worked.

This is the worst product -- do not buy it -- lime builds up fast and extremely difficult to repair for common man and to top that you need a special screw driver to open it. Stop wasting your money.

Very easy to assemble Recommened, and only attachments I've used so far work well, and are easy to use. Doing a good job on the new carpet in my bedrooms and stairs. I already knew from an earlier review that it wouldn't fit under furniture, but I can use my Eufy for that, so no problem - the high traffic areas that need a stronger suction was really what I bought this for. If it continues as it's started, it will be a good buy and well worth the money. I have had two Shark Rocket stick vacs in the past that are super easy to use, but the motors just don't last well, even with scrupulous cleaning of the filters. I'm hoping for better with this Bissell.

Good review, Abby, but I'd recommend using distilled water to prevent lime scale from forming in the X5.

You should have used distilled water. No limescale. Distilled water has no minerals in it.

We bought a Shark brand, the pump went on it inside a year. We just bought a Hoover one that similar to the one you reviewed. See how that goes
