awesome interview. Covet has been one of my favorite bands for a few years, and Yvette is constantly in my 'recently played.' you guys at sweetwater are awesome and im so glad you guys are shedding light on such an amazing artist.

I like how she’s classically trained but answers the questions in a way that is pretty simple and not in theory terms. Jazz cats never can do that. She can. Hahaha! Seems like chatting with some other kid from another band after a show when I was in high school.
Hmm. She should try writing music with a pencil on grand staff. That would truly follow her internal ear and then the tuning and guitar tab can be applied much later.

She likely already does some of that and probably knows enough music theory to do away with the whole grand staff writing.
