It`s interesting, when you always have to say that it is just your opinion. And I understend why. Thanks for your vids and for your opinion. Greeting from Ukraine.
I say it over and over because people are CRAZY! So I try to stress we can have different opinions. It’s the world we live in. Haha 😂 God bless thanks for stopping by. Appreciate your time!
I lost my wife in 2011 to a heart transplant 😢 it broke me completely . i am so thankful for what God has done in my life now and the family He has blessed me with ❤ He is our provider!
I am Canadian and both my custom designed knifes are based on the D.H Russell. One is the Army 3 and the survival (Canadian Arctic Ranger)#4 I made the design my mate in Nova Scotia made the blade to order. The #3 is 3/16” thick and 4” blade. The #4 is 1/4” thick and 5” long. Both have purple heart wood handles and come in a pistol flap deep sheath that Carrie’s a ferrous rod. Both are meant for different uses but work very well wherever I have hunted/traveled in the world.
Thanks for the video! I always appreciate a fellow lover of knives showing capabilities and Brother in the Lord! : ) How dead the stick and type of wood are the two things I notice the most when making feathers. You want it dry and silky. Not flakey. Sounds too dead. May still work; just less workable. I love my LTWK SNH and XLNH. My SNL (3V) is my daily hip knife I use for literally everything and works very well on everything. It is my best apple and steak knife. I just got my XLNH in AEB-L and this bad boy is a Knoife! I also love how versatile it is and can do literally anything (yet, it excels at food/fleshy oriented tasks). My LTWK JX2 Jessmuk is the 1 stick fire pro and I think still takes the cake on any wood craft with its steep scandi, 01 Tool Steel, and how much it wedges. Way sharper spine too. But, when it comes to eating an apple- I would never try my JX2 or JX2 C again 😅. They no longer produce the JX2 but the Designer is working with Work Tuff Gear for a new batch. AEB L is great when sharpening. I think it is my favorite steel personally! (And, I personally own a JX6 II Magnacut) As for my personal favorite hand saw: I own both a Silky Zubat and Samurai. I LOVE my Silky Zubat. Both are great but the Zubat makes work effortless! Thanks again. I'll certainly subscribe! I look forward to checking out your other content. God Bless, -Seth
Please don’t think I’m trying to knock you..just a suggestion on helping with your feather sticks..it has to do with the way you grab the knife…please try, it helped me greatly..ok..first grab the knife with index and thumb..make sure the blade of the knife is pointing just barely behind the first knuckle of your index..then close the middle..then ring..then pinky..keep a closed grip..no thumbs on spine..squeezing and relaxing the hand will change the angle of the cutting edge..so you don’t have to turn hand or wrist..please try..it also helps if you practice large feathers..
That’s that signature LTWK feel you got when holding that knife. Every single knife from LTW so far has the perfect palm swell for longevity use

Great vid! Got this knife myself. Not just a great hunting knife. Literally one of the most versatile knives ever make!!!
Great knife... love Canadian style blades
Wise words thank you. Set me up for the day 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Good words brother 👍🏼
Nice blade. Looks like it would make a good skinning blade, with its shape.
God bless you sir! Great review and message! Subscribed.

I’m thinking my small northern hunter might accomplish the same task
it will for sure brother
