    Thanks very much, Deb! It's a lovely weave, trying it in stainless steel in a small gauge now.

      @@AussieMaillers My poor eyes protested, I couldn't get it done with an ID of 2.3 mm and WD of 0.7 mm. I have to get some good enlarging goggles 🤩

      Sorry for all of misspellings! [I'll fix them right now!]
      Question: I know you sell rings in Sterling and aluminium but I was wondering if you have any other metals available? [specifically: half-filled and argentium silver]?? & Do you, of the sterling and your kits, ship to California [USA]? Thank you for your reply! Happy Holidays- I hope EVERYTHING'S going well for you & yours!
      Aloha & Mahalo Nui Loa!
      P.S. YOUR explanation(s)/tutorials are ALWAYS ALWAYS easier to grasp/follow than others' & you make the weaves LOOK SOOOOO MUCH MORE MANAGEABLE!! SO THANK YOU FOR THAT ESPECIALLY!!!🤙🤙🏼💗😘🥰🤗☺️😊💜💙💜💙💜💙💜

    A weave I would absolutely love to see a tutorial on is Vipera Berus. I struggle with that one and you are such a great teacher.
    Thank you so much Deb for all of these detailed videos! ❤

      Bobbie these are weave tutorials, I am showing how to do a weave, not a project. If I am feeling extra spunky I will show how I ended it, but that is not my intention with these videos.

    What would you suggest for rings if I wanted to keep the bulk of the largest version, but was looking to tighten up the weave a bit?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  ปีที่แล้ว

      drop down a ring size and see how it goes. I don't have any exact sizes for you but you could try say 7.50mmID or see if a 9/32" (7.14mm) in the 1.6mm wire would work. Let me know how you go.

    what would be the smallest aspect ratio that would make it stiff enough that would it actually be a stiff rod - say to make a candy cane?

    • @AussieMaillers
      @AussieMaillers  ปีที่แล้ว

      Kenneth the minimum AR listed on Maille Artisans for this weave is 4.1. I haven't done this tight so can't comment on how well it works.
