Fabulous tutorial. Thanks for showing us the weave before showing us how to start it. What a positive difference that makes in succsssfully working this weave. The only rings I had in anodized aluminum were 18SWG 7/32" (AR 4.6) , but they worked out perfectly! The result was nice and supple. Thank you for all your brilliant tutorials!
OMG, finally it works for me! Thank you so much! I’ve been trying to crack this code on and off for years, but as you opined, the difficult start can be discouraging and lead one to toss the pliers down in tearful frustration or go back to something simpler. Watching your video, grasping the two motions, using THREE twist-ties-I mastered it in 15 minutes this Saturday morning. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
You have now joined the top of my list with Deb from Aussie maille for the best maille tutorials ever !!!!!! Thank you!!!! Cant wait to get home from work and give this nemesis a go!😂
Seconded

I have tried this pattern so many times. I've gotten so angry that I just throw it. You just made my day and I finally got it. Thank you thank you thank you.
Awwww yay!
That’s so nice to read ◡̈
Hi Kat, great tutorial - where do you get the rings from in the UK pls? 🤔
Thank you, awesome tutorial! The weave looks a bit stiff. Will it be able to bend to make a bracelet?
It’s super flexible! Makes a perfect bracelet.
But if you want even more movement, just go up a ring size ◡̈
I don't understand how to make a necklace
