Retro collection boxset I want two of them. Mon mothma Retro going for around £100 on her own on ebay . I got the books when they came out after seeing them in America in the summer of 92 in Orlando florida at a mall .
I just pre-ordered heir to the empire 3 pack yesterday I have the original books I always enjoyed reading them along with the rest of the legacy collection books

The Imperial Mustache Captain is named Pellaeon. An important EU character and Thrawn's right hand man in the trilogy but also recently appeared in Mandalorian Season 3 and Tales of the Empire and probably will appear in Ahsoka down the road. They're using the likeness of the actor playing him in Mando for the figure. Honestly if they were ever going to release him I assumed it would have been on a Mandalorian card first but it's good they decided to do his character debut on a cardback that honours where he first appeared in the franchise 33 years ago. Joruus is a Clone of a dead Jedi gone crazy is the simple answer for that character. To tell you the truth I have the trilogy and still haven't read it properly myself. I had two of the books but not the first one when I was younger because someone gave them to me but I only sort of read them not properly I don't remember anything and they didn't make much sense without the first one. Then I lost one of them or maybe I decided to give it back but still had the other one but eventually I found the first one and second one with the original covers but I still haven't read them properly. It's been 12 years right before the Disney merger I got those at New York Comic Con along with the Plagueis novel which I also haven't finished been putting and down and picking up again. One day I'll finish it. But it's still a cool set and opens the door of possibilities. The time for Comic Packs to make a come back is now or at least do more of them. Those were great back in the day. Admittedly it was an excuse for repacks and repaints but every once and awhile you got one off EU characters the likes of which were never to be seen again like Exar Kun. At least until now anyway now who knows what will happen. It definitely feels like the shot in the arm the TVC needed because a lot of people weren't happy this year with all the repacks and repaints or lack of paint. Hopefully next year is a start to new beginnings. Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Looking forward to the next video.
The Heir to the Empire VC figures are a very welcome addition to the line, and under £50 for the set too! The books are indeed a great read. I think you'd regret it if you do move some/all of your Retro Collection figures. You just need to rethink your display options (easy for me to say!)
Loved the way you say i 'll probably buy the retro set followed by a brr😅 but your right retro should only be for og films how can they be retro when media is only six months old?
The only issue I have is that they are just too late. (Not that it'll effect sales) but after all Fan Creators I just feel that with figures of the Rebel Fleet Troopers about it just doesnt pack the same punch for me. I'm sure the figure will be brilliant though. Great vid OOK!

Definitely check out the Heir to the Empire trilogy mate! I remember buying the audio cassette tapes for them at the Star Tours shop in MGM studios at the time in 1996. They are in my opinion really good. Have pre ordered the figures for this. Hopefully they produce a heroes 3 pack to. Captain Pellaeon we have actually already seem in the Mandalorian season 3. He was a member of that imperial shadow council. I can hand on heart honestly say that I have never bought a retro figure. Ruined by the edge wear and sticker. You made a clear decision to get rid of retro and focus purely on tvc1.0......within days your doubting yourself, collecting retro and even new media heir of the empire!!😂😂 I'm not criticising you, I totally get it because I thought it was just me!! I make clear decisions on how I'm streamlining my collection and getting more focused - only to be seduced within days by shiny new cardbacks and figures that I must have in vc order!!😂😂 I do believe collecting is a disease to which the only cure is to "not collect"!!!😂 Whatever you decide it's your collection, enjoy the journey.😂
If you wanna read the Thrawn Trilogy you’re gonna have to tear into that plastic seal😂. It’s a solid trilogy though a little slow in parts. I just recently bought a replacement set of the first six retro figures cuz a wrecked some card backs trying to take those miserable stickers off. I’ll try selling off my Mando ones (along with the Mando carbonized set) when the time’s right. Focusing solely on OT for those. Anyway, best wishes from the USA. The Thrawn trilogy is good, but not as good as people say it is. Certainly better than what they came up with for the sequel not-a-trilogy though. Thrawn was written by ONE WRITER instead of TWO AND A HALF DIFFERENT DIRECTORS (hacks at best).
I refuse to buy any 3.75 action figures at $16.00 a pop at the regular price (and thats at Walmart), that's just a stupid price. I'd rather just spend my money on the OT stuff. These remakes just look bad.
Thrawn the most overrated character of all time in Star Wars next to Ashoka. Hasbro has done gaming figures and now figures from the novels. Yet not a single thing from Shadows of the Empire in TVC just saying. And OOK we will get a Mon Mothma in TVC but it will be the Andor version of her and not the Jedi version that everyone wants. But I know you love Andor so you'll be happy with that. And not long now to your Geonosis arena opening video. I can't wait for it.

Speaking of EU I'd love Rogue Squadron and Wraith Squadron figures. I also want a Talon Karrde and Corran Horn. Such an amazing series of books.
