- Not a huge amount has happened in the past few weeks. Marcus is studying, Bridget had pro show, girls are full steam ahead schooling, I’ve been canning and we’ve had those first autumn germs… so quite a quiet autumn vlog this week.

I can never understand why homesteading and homeschooling gets such a bad rap ESPECIALLY Homeschooling!!! You deserve a flipping medal for doing that to be honest. It's not the easy option at all.
As I may have said my kids have severe autism and ADHD among other things so teaching at home was never on the cards and I would never have done it in reality on a purely selfish level I needed the break from them and the little sleep I could get while they were gone. They also needed far more than I could give them in that respect too. Anyway I strayed from my point again sorry you deserve a medal 🏅

Brilliant idea Bridget of putting the cow in the poly tunnel for the winter. Instant fertilizer and less work to prepare the soil in the spring ❤😂😅
