Here's the blotter update...
The drydown is very much like the opening: bright, smiling and uncomplicated. The rosiness remains intact, although its had to make more room for the musks. Hard to dislike, but, like I said in the video, unlikely to set anyone's olfactory receptors on fire.

I like MFK. But.... they have gotten weaker and weaker, the state of many brands I'm afraid.
As you said everything is in competition "competing for eyeballs" or competing for noses or wallets.
I love his rose, I love grand soir and the ouds. Don't have any full bottles and I doubt I'd add them.
I'm really keen to see his work on the upcoming Privee Collection more potent releases.

Would you recommend buying the original or the new EDT? For someone who doesn’t own any. Just got my hands on grand soir and oud satin mood. Loved the oud. Grand soir might need some time to truly appreciate :) love your reviews as always! Keep up the great work. Very few reviewers of your caliber.

Personally, I prefer the first version. I think there’s more depth to it.
It smells like its color. A really soft pink. I love this fragrance and i’m not even a fan of perfumes with a rose note.
