This is a great project for beginners or anyone with a few tools. Even without a miter saw you can make your cuts . Really looks good. I'm going to try it. I'm in a huge snow storm on lake Erie but as soon as it warms up 😊thank you for the video.
I might add another shelf in the middle to make all the spacing equal, if it doesn't look right during mock up I can always leave it out. Also think thinner boards would look more elegant. Nothing getting built for a couple of months until after we move but this will be one of the first.
Is the intent to hang the shelf on the wall some how or should it sit in the floor? Seems like it would tip over extremely easy if just set on the floor. Great project, new sub here! Thanks!
How much did you spend on tools though? And what hourly labor rate are you aiming to earn? $190 income is not profit, profit's what you have left over after all your expenses and salary payments.
@@FishOverChicksWoodworking the only reason I know is because I blew one that had a sump pump on it. 😂 That was pretty bad, so I’m pretty adamant about my saws being on their own outlet lol.
Great design. I will be building one in my shop to try out. That's a nice new saw, but please put some supports on each end for the longer material so it doesn't rise up and kick back on you.
It’s really making me laugh when I see a festool jigsaw on the shelf and you’re using a first generation ryobi drill. 😂😂😂 complete opposite ends of the tool spectrum. Other channels are completely outfitted with high $$$ tools.
Haha yea the ryobi tools were my dads and he gave them to me a while back and they still work great! We like to show that you don’t need a super expensive shop to make cool projects!
I seriously dout that the wood cost only 20 bucks even if it did youve got at least 15 hours in it which would raise the cost if you were to sell thembut if your time isnt worth anything thats a desent deal
love your content thank you
I am a biscuit or dowel user when possible and I think they would make the entire piece cleaner. great job
Your videos are getting better all the time. Keep it up and congrats.
Thanks so much! We appreciate you watching!

Awesome Vid You Guys! Def adding this to my list 🔥💜🔥

I think that would look great! Shoot us a photo of it if you do end up building it! Good luck with the move🤙
Maybe even make the shelf(ves) removable, slide in slide out resting on the angles? Just a thought. I've done that with the pentagon style shelves.

at the end of the video we put key holes on it to hang on the wall!
The design is so cool.
Thank you!
Bravo pour le doublage automatique 👍👍👍
Je suis heureux que le doublage automatique ait été ajouté !
I’m just glad I’m not the only one whose shop lights flicker when I cut on the saw. 🤣 awesome video. 🤘🏼
🤙😂
This is awesome! can't wait to build it.
Glad you liked it! Let us know how yours turns out!
The confidence is inspiring. You should make a follow up on how much it sells for!
Will do! Thanks!
Look great.
Thank you!
covid can't stop this man from dropping bangers
😎
How that looks amazing
Happy New Year

Nice way to start the new year, that is really cool, and the miter saw is nice,I should up grade too, happy new year fellas 🫶
Happy New Year! Thank you for watching.
Opinions on Dove Tails and Dowels for this?
I think dove tails would look nice but really bump up the build time on this project. Dowels would be effective no doubt. Good shout!
Good job. Enjoyed your video. Think I will make one.
Glad you enjoyed it! Let us know how it turns out!
Good morning from San Diego, Ca… Happy New Year
Thanks Thom, you too!
Working with inches?🤣🤣🤣🤣 TMI and personal!
Love the build though.
Dude you need a serious upgrade on your drill. That Ryobi is older than you.
Great first video for 2025!!!💪
very nice
Thank you! Appreciate that!
Greetings from Canada brother! How you hanging that on the wall? Could you show that next time? Cheers!
We have a key whole bit for the router! We will definitely show that next time! Thanks for watching!
No eye or ear protection?
I save the thin pieces for edge banding. I have hundreds!
Great Idea!
Love your work. But where do you get pine that looks that good.
Thank you! Just a Lowes 2x8. We did spend quite a bit of time in store picking out the best one!
That speed square is the one your girlfriend's are always saying not to worry about guys.
How is it attached to the wall? What type of hanger?
We used a key hole bit on our router! then we put some screws into studs.
Thats awesome. Update the video when you sell it and for how much>
Will do!

Nice work brotha. Btw, I’d move the saw to a different outlet or upgrade it to a 20 amp. Apparently the lights are on the same one you’re using lol.
Yep hahaha! common issue in our shop. Definitely on the to do list.

Wicker for displaying stuff ! 🎉🎉 that saw for what we call some kick back

key whole bit on the router! screwed it into some studs!

You keep saying bench. Now I need to see that made into bench legs. Would make an awesome design!
that would be really cool! we will have to give it a go!
A little close

So nails and screws, no holes filled, made out of pine and it sold for more than $20? Wow
Show us your build then if you can do better. Or do you just sit at home ridiculing TH-camrs and their projects?
@Hiltonology no but ill call out somebody that tells people they get $200 for $20 builds or that would actually charge somebody that
@@Hiltonology If his idea is as awesome as he thinks it should stand up just fine to a bit of criticism.
He would “like to get” 200 doesn’t mean he has a signed check…
To say 1900 profit implies your time is worthless.
