As a Malaysian, grow up with all the diversity surround us ever since childhood just made me see each other as another human being, not a different race. When meeting friends or colleagues from different races, we talk and chat like we were one. We are one. Unity. That's the beauty and unique of being Malaysian.

I am from Singapore and have friends and relatives in KL. All the foods in KL are delicious because Malaysians are very picky with food. Only the stall with the delicious foods would survive. This video really makes me want to visit KL soon and meet my Malay friends from TTDI. The foods from the 3 cultures cannot be compared because they are very different. Perhaps you can compare the Chinese foods from popular cities such as KL, Ipoh and Penang. Then compare the Malay foods from KL, Kedah and Kelantan. Then compare the Indian foods from KL, Sg Siput and Kluang. Perhaps also compare the Chinese, Malay and Indian foods with those in Singapore Little India, China town and Marine Parade. I like the fried Cempedak definitely, Nasi Lemak and Lemang and for Indian dish I like the goat soup and for Chinese foods many.

Im Malaysian with many friends and relatives in Singapore. i have also lived in Singapore for a short time in the late 90s. to be fair, there is very good food to be found in Singapore as well and they are different to what we have here and in a good way. To me, Singapore and Malaysia, we are practically the same people with the same cultures and tastes for food. We have a shared history as well and should always continue to stay as close friends, even family.

Ken, for a German doing a English video is remarkable and awesome. I enjoy watching your video about Malaysia. "Malaysia is a hidden gem" with its multi racial society and its rich cultural diversity. English is widely spoken everyway due to its English colonial past. We have busy and vibrant cities day & night. They have its rich source of food and beverage , the smell that come to the nose in different area you visited. I noticed your success is because you are humble from the questions you asked and that is where they also respond favorable as the can understand you.

Happy birthday Ken. Ken go around like Malaysian speak Bahasa. Cool!...Welcome back to Malaysia. Each food has its own unique, each taste beautifully. I am blessed to be Malaysian myself. No doubt we have great food.
I would recommend you try Rojak passembour and also fruit rojak.. Correct me if I'm wrong, I think this only in Malaysia and Singapore.

    Hey Ken, welcome back..
I believe the big banana pisang tanduk is called "plantain" in English... maybe named so as it resembles the water-buffalo's horn..
In Malaysia, it's considered as one of sub species of banana fruit group ( there are pisang tanduk, pisang embun, pisang nangka, pisang raja, pisang emas, to name a few of them....
    ..there's even pisang awak..😂😊)
    And Happy birthday (belated)...
    Enjoy..!!!

Hi Ken, welcome to M'sia! FYI, the correct or normal ways to eat Chicken claypot rice is to mix everything by stirring immediately after being served hot. Usually the chef/kitchen already "measured the recipe, amount, tried & tested" the correct amount of moisture, saltiness etc the ideal & best after mixing all inside the clayport evenly.

Hi Ken it's such an honor to us that you love our culture and multi races in one country. The indian delicacy that you liked is called coconut candy to me. So happy that you took the opportunity to travel around and to explore what we have in Malaysia
