Brandy’s deep insecurity and battle with self esteem was her one true kryptonite. She never truly understood the power she possessed. And how great she was, IS and can be!
NEVER SAY NEVER was her best ever. and most successful if im right. SHes so sweet and interesting to see she was so young and bought a lexus how sucessful she is, shes great I wish i knew her
Her sadness coming through here is a reflection of what a lot of us go through at that age. Trying to navigate this world while not really knowing ourselves. As far as insecurities go I bet it was even more of a sensitive time for her because she was in the public eye receiving criticism along with the praise. That can be damaging to one's self esteem, especially when you don't have someone you can deeply & truly confide in. Brandy said in an interview "none of it makes you happy". She said she started to accept herself & learn things about herself & face her fears & began to be happy with herself. That was around "Full Moon" Era. I believe she said after having her daughter she learned what unconditional love was & had something more to live for. She wanted to check out on us at one time. How dreadful I'd feel if that had ever happened. Seeing her as grown woman has been a blessing to me, because I know life is not over even when I feel like it is. Sometimes those with the greatest gifts have the hardest mental & spiritual battles. With no struggles we can't recognize or appreciate life's greatness. We'd probably take it for granted. "It's me who validates me".💕
