- Leap is a film which explores the unfiltered realities of betting on yourself in the 21st Century. It's told through the lens of Black British filmmakers, Adessy & Stephanie who took a leap of faith and headed to Los Angeles asking the question "Can one trip change your life?" It follows their adventure alongside the stories of industry trailblazers, Avelino, Joivan Wade, and Hamzaa.

This documentary has allowed me to dream again. So many ideas came rushing through my mind about living my assignment and purpose on the earth. Part of success is facing the unknown. Creating a frame of reference for what is possible. Taking a leap to expand your world view and lived experience. As Stephanie said: "Fear has cost me a fortune." The cost of not trying is greater because in addition to missed opportunities, you also feel regret. You took action and so many great things have come from that. This doc is a seed that will mature and bear fruit.

This was Exactly what I needed. I loved it from start to finish, especially what my man said about faith in action. I loved how Avelino took you both like his little sisters and embraced you. But most of all I loved the beauty of your friendship and embracing your faith and letting it lead you. People love to pull out "it's not good for man to be alone" in the context of marriage, but this friendship illustrates what it means to have a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Love it, praying that God continues to bless your individual and collective endeavours 🙏🏾💙

Amazing documentary! Really inspiring! I moved to LA from London in November as I am studying, I am in LA till June and definitely agree that there is so much opportunity being here, and people are more open to work with you especially if you are from London. I would suggest going back to LA for a few months so you have more time to meet more people ✨
