Every scene with Blanche in was a killer. 🤣
Agreed. It says Best Bits, but it’s pretty much ALL Bits!
I could literally watch the entire show with just her alone 🤣
I used to cringe everytime I saw her.
Nobody ruder or more
opinionated.
Not quite as shocking now that she's been gone for awhile but still someone I'd never want to know.
Yikes 😬
Blanche was superb. Could have ran the whole show on her own
Met her at a Manchester hotel bar about 15 years ago. With my friend plucked up courage to ask for an autograph. She agreed, but before I could suggest a photo she said, magnificently, "I only do photos outside, and I'm not going outside". I cherished hearing he say that more than I would any picture. When I looked at the autograph, she'd written, helpfully "Maggie Jones (Blanche)". I still have that piece of paper.
Love it!
Wonderful memory
That’s a amazing story,such a great actor
This is when Coronation Street and the soaps in general were worth watching.Great characters with fun and great storyline.
Definitely 😊
I agree it so crappy now 😭
What a legend. This couldn't be further away from the Corrie we see now, guns, gangs and misery.
Dude there was an episode revolving around a robbery at Freshco's from the year 2000...
@@masterknife8423 but that was once in a blue moon, now every time I put Corrie on its usual violence, guns, arguing, blood etc
and "actors' with the charisma of a frying pan
@@ezioauditore6038 You a soap opera character cos you're talking like one lol
They still had serious issues stories around this era ie Jez quigley, leannes drug habit but the humour and writing was much stronger with much better characters compared to today's cast.
Blanche was the blunt woman with a big heart.
Blanche and Deidre, brilliant actress’s
Blanche a true legend she brought fun to Coronation Street it has never been the same without her
AA meeting will always be the best 4 me
Yes. I howled at that. So so funny. Love the it❤️
Towards the end Rita laughs loud and hard. That wasn't acting that was real. Everything this character did was comedy gold.
Good old Blanche. Always right, even when she was wrong.
Blanche was a absaloute legend sadly missed from corrie
I've never seen these clips on TH-cam before, this was amazing 😂 And imagine Blanche and Norris working together in the Cabin.
I love Blanche she so funny in every sense
Savage reads and natural delivery everytime. A character that will be missed forever
Blanch is so good at putting people in There place
The intro music surprisingly suits Blanche more than any other Corrie character.
It's so fitting for a savage like Blanche.
Fantastic actress and character ❤❤❤
*"Just as well we don't know what the future holds, or we'd all be on medication"* . ~Blanche Hunt😂 So true, Blanche. So true! 😂
Some halfwit hussy 🤣 Blanche has the best lines.
This was an amazing compilation.
Thanks so much for doing this, been waiting since 2010 for someone to start compiling the legend that was blanche
There’s a 2000 collection on the channel too if you haven’t seen it already!
@@TheTalkoftheStreetPodcast I noticed that, got that lined up next haha
Blanche really did love Ken (she knew he was Deirdre's best option) that's what made their back and fourths so impactful for me 😂
There were some great characters back then not like the robots now .
Legend 😄
Absolutely brilliant 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️🙏
Thanks so much for uploading!
I Love The Senes with Rita and Blanch in The Kabin she tells it how it is
The Handsome Man Named Kenneth 👍
Thank you for this
I love Blanch and Rita in the Cabin together They where so funny
9:00 "some half wit hussy" 🤣🤣
It's interesting watching this, it feels like they hadn't quite figured out Blanche's personality, it wasnt nearly as strong as in later years
blanche really was the hero of corrie
Blanch is so hillariours
Ken’s eye will start roving again ! 😂
Please can you do more of these. For up until she passed away
Hi pauddie thanks again for your help with your mammy thesse breen Tony I love you son and daughter caria
Ooh do you smell it
The stench of death
Ironic when you consider that Rita has outlived almost everyone apart from Sally in that scene!
That scene will never be forgotten
"Hard faced doesn't come into it!!'...
Relish the Blanche and Emily scenes...
Iconic that Blanche is the only character that can dare rattle the saintly pillars of the Street, Emily and Rita...
...and later even Saint Betty. Timeless...
So very sad rip Blanche she was funny 😢
She reminds me so much of the nosy, old neighbours around. So blunt & no filter & beating around the bush!
1:15 Especially Alf 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
2:20 omg!!!!
"I have to fill out a form to visit my daughter now". My Grandmother used that one on me. An English rose she was and her favorite Character was Blanche. I see why now.
I loved Blanche and now we have Evelyn; love those feisty women!
Haha Mother by Danzig fits this perfectly as an intro.
Her glasses god show big
RIP MAGGIE
Blimey! That guy with Emily.... That's Les Battersby. I this role before he became Les? He's not talking, and I've never known Les for NOT getting a word in.
I loved the Blanche Character very non pc👍

Quazy modo’s bride
These half cartoon half real life thumbnails are creepy. Good video though
Just love the traffic rumbling in the background.
If she was still alive she would have Been written out by the woke patrole
Poor dear Alf. Too good to Audrey.
Blanche knows what is best for Deirdre.
Blanche is right - women should not let their men folk debased
Nowadays they would be seen as partners.
60p for tissues gosh.
Maudlin st
An example of gas lighting. There is a theme of older men in soaps with long work histories, getting jobs for minimum wage in supermarkets. I've noticed this in a couple of different programmes - the same theme and tackled in the same way. The blokes tend to view this as honest work, whilst their mother in law might view this work as undignified. The women are characterised in this instance as old fashioned and out of touch - especially in terms of being sensitive to the needs of older men. These needs are seen as unnecessary and even elitist.
Seems to me this is propaganda to slowly introduce the notion that our western economies are now primarily service orientated, that jobs will be harder to come by and also that older workers are no different from younger workers in their employment and should not be treated with any additional respect based on their accomplishments. In other words a dystopian socialist future awaits (or is really already here).
What???
What's socialist about any of that ?
