I agree dude, it's like he personally handpicked every last detail that went into his car, true craftsmanship. btw, the wheels you were asking about are Work Meister CR-01, great wheels too!
My dad told me on how when he first moved here to the U.S. he had a beater late 60's mustang and sold it for a ridiculously low price because it had a clutch issue or something trivial and I wanted to cry. If only he was a car guy I could have an awesome and highly appreciated car right now, oh well.
I am an American and I love Silvia's. I'll never be able to import one so I've moved part of that love to first and third gen 240's. I like that japanese style involves "americanizing" a car. This car helps me appreciate pop up headlights.
Great car. Not sure about the roof rack, but the overall style is really nice. I really like the deep dish wheels too, and the ones on the black silvia as well. Two very nice looking cars.
This really split opinions when it was featured on Speedhunters, some hated it, some loved it. I guess we need cars like this to keep the tuning 'game' evolving and staying fresh
I don't like it at all, but you have appreciate the creativity and different sense of style. Its a pretty interesting car and goes to show the grass is always greener on the other side.
Beautiful ride, 10 out of 10. The only thing I didnt like was the long twin exhaust pipes. USDM would be a single pipe tucked into the bumper but anyway it goes, sick ass whip.
true, you just have to look in the right areas. imo what's usdm about the car are the stickers, roof rack, wheels and the interior. I assume with the bosozoku style cars they are just mixed to the owners preferences with both usdm and jdm.
Im really mind blown by the front bumper that allows the headlights to be closed but still show the lenses. I want to do that with a s13 when I get one. The flip up lights are the only thing I don't like on S13's and I'm not a big fan of the Silvia lights.
The grass is greener on the other side. Everyone wants stuff they can't have. Whenever I read a car mag or something similar on car builds here in the U.S. they are always adamant on how they try and use JDM products (a lot of the time). Must be why I am so obsessed with wagons since I can't have what Europe has.
I saw nothing "USDM" about that car (and a whole lot about it very Japanese) except for the wheels that almost no American would run on an import. Kind of an ironic car in that sense. I do love seeing what Japanese tuners are up to though, so keep 'em coming.
Not sure if srs, it's a s13 with a 180 front that he put on to make a onevia so it could appear like a 240sx. The engine is a sr20 from a autech s15 i think aswell.
United states domestic market. Japanese domestic market. Basically what spec the cars are, if they're from the US they have different parts to the Japanese ones. Hope this helps
Yeah... i'm gonna moving overseas. At least, over there, I won't have to deal with idiots that think every car is "rice". Hell, over there, they probably don't even use the term "rice"! Lol
Im with Tony on this one. I can't see much USDM on this one. Just look at todays Stanced/Flush/VIP-Style Cars, most of them look like that. Even some Bosozoku Cars, which is pure JDM. And like he said, only the Wheels seem USDM and not even Americans would run those. :P Just my 2 cents.
wait, what defines USDM 240's? He said he put a 180 front end on it. So they have the front end already in Japan? Funny he said he likes US culture so he made a USDM car. The USDM 240sx was the sole idea of someone at Nissan.
United States domestic market and Japanese domestic market. The terms are used to describe automobiles and components native to the region in question.
usdm style= sticker bombs stretch tires hellaflush stance (american import scene style) pistol grips and headers coming out of the fenders is something of the past dont you think
its funny people here in the states mod our cars to JDM specs i.e. type x front, kouki, silvia etc and over there they love good old stock USDM junk lol
Took a while for that reply from someone but the info isnt needed anymore and the year kinda does matter to me on the 89. KA why not just bust a swap for an rb or sr
whats usdm about the car is the style, obviously. he compares his jdm style silvia to the onevia, so big difference. basically americans purposely over do it to give more character while jdm is subtle like his own car.
And Euros and Aussie want ricey styled cars back from the first fast and furious with flashing lights and loud sound systems and shiny mexican stoled rims
I like how in japan there is no such thing as rice just being creative
that's still not riced tho, lol. clean af.
FatlaceDC2 I appreciate that comment.
I agree dude, it's like he personally handpicked every last detail that went into his car, true craftsmanship.

This is the kind of thing that makes me love this channel

*This is why I need to go to Japan.*

I love seeing these cars on speedhunters, then seeing a nice vid about them later here.
Brilliant show, cool episode. More!
I don't like it at all, but you have appreciate the creativity and different sense of style. Its a pretty interesting car and goes to show the grass is always greener on the other side.
i like it, he built it the way he wanted to not for anyone else. anybody know what kind of wheels those are on the black coupe?
gorgeous.
Beautiful ride, 10 out of 10. The only thing I didnt like was the long twin exhaust pipes. USDM would be a single pipe tucked into the bumper but anyway it goes, sick ass whip.
Don't know what motor set he's rocking but a KA-T and LHD would complete his USDM fantasy.

nice tune man

I get and like the car. It is a nice example of USDM in the JDM. The matte pink is a wonderful choice, Something different.
both styles are nice
2 very nice builds and total opposites for that matter!
@Tim Nguyen how is it clean?
So true and some Europeans would kill to have a classic Mustang or something.
Not sure if srs, it's a s13 with a 180 front that he put on to make a onevia so it could appear like a 240sx. The engine is a sr20 from a autech s15 i think aswell.
nice
What type of steering wheel is that, i really want one.
While I may not like the pink S13. I appreciate the work that went into. But I'm really digging the 1990's styled PS13. Btw what's the song name?
Where can i see more of the black s13 coupe?
Good Job~
Where can I get the blinds
Oh wow. Euros would kill for that car man! If only..
180sx is our 240sx hatchback here in us, just in japan it came with sr20det versus our that came with garbage ka, oh and theirs is RHD of course.
What kind of body kit and what kind of rims does it have ? Plz someone tell me
the black one!!! omg!
More XCAR in Japan please?
USDM thats crazy lol pretty dope
why do Japanese people make better USDM style builds than we do ?
Work Meister CR01's!
What's the name of the background music
Soooo Nice *-*
read it on speedhunters, it's called Julius. well julius full aero kit *shoulder shrugs* thats all i know. LOL
What is the song during this video called?
2:45 - Jackass sticker :D
Daaamn that's funny and crazy dope
Check Speedhunters they did a feature on these two cars.
SONG: Jason Pedder pimps & hustlers
Wish the vid was longer
The american racing wheels seem to be the only usdm thing on it.
Those goocar hemi's are so fucking sick
Why would you dislike this?
United states domestic market. Japanese domestic market. Basically what spec the cars are, if they're from the US they have different parts to the Japanese ones. Hope this helps

this is USDM style wtf hahah , still dope

Work Meister CR-01's!
So Japanese people are modifying their cars to suite USDM and then Americans more like JDM. Logic.
They're just going for the look not prevalent in their country. It's different! ;D
Is weird how in the states we go for the jdm look and in Japan is the usdm look
wait, what defines USDM 240's? He said he put a 180 front end on it. So they have the front end already in Japan?
Funny he said he likes US culture so he made a USDM car. The USDM 240sx was the sole idea of someone at Nissan.
aww I was hoping he put a KA-T in it
Shit! That's the guy that owns and built rosebud? Cool.
This car looked 10x better at NECS 12' when it had none of the usdm additions......
dopeness
The S13 Gods are crying right now.
United States domestic market and Japanese domestic market. The terms are used to describe automobiles and components native to the region in question.
I had to watch the video in order to see the car and find out whether I liked it or not. Make sense?
Flawless. Much respect. 240
it would be sweet if he could get a hold of a ka and beast that thing out that's how USDM does it lol
so a usdm style is a sticker bomb personal perference thing? and a jdm is a clean style? yes?
ha sweet bottom hood painting
usdm style= sticker bombs stretch tires hellaflush stance (american import scene style)
pistol grips and headers coming out of the fenders is something of the past dont you think
its funny people here in the states mod our cars to JDM specs i.e. type x front, kouki, silvia etc and over there they love good old stock USDM junk lol
Pink S13 year is from 89-92/93
What is USDM and JDM ?! As a German, I have no idea.
They want our USDM stuff we want there JDM stuff. We trade and everybody wins!
Can someone please get back to me on the year I of the pink s13 silvia coupe.
It doesnt really matter much does it? Its an S13, the year isnt a big issue unless you were talking differences in the KA motors.
Took a while for that reply from someone but the info isnt needed anymore and the year kinda does matter to me on the 89. KA why not just bust a swap for an rb or sr
Why so little views ?
in Poland many people thinks that 2cm from asphalt and many stickers on car is a JDM style, ehhh :/
I wonder if it has a KA...
Good question! If it started life as a non turbo model Silvia, then maybe. Otherwise, its probably a stock'ish SR20DET in there...
those are Work Wheels Meisters CR01
amen
whats usdm about the car is the style, obviously. he compares his jdm style silvia to the onevia, so big difference. basically americans purposely over do it to give more character while jdm is subtle like his own car.
Fuzzy dice and an armed hello kitty on the front seat is USDM huh?
works
emm work loop 5
woow
So people from Canada and USA try to be jdm but people in Japan try to be usdm?
Я ждал когда он начнеть валить боком на "сливе"
is good car
US wants JDM
Japan wants USDM
Why am I not surprised...
I fawkn like both
808 all day lol.....+1 for hawaii
would be nice to own a 335i m package touring in a stick :-(
No one cares what you think if you don't like it move along!
Is than JDM USDM and USDM JDM? =) hahaha
remove the bike and the other stuff over the roof and this is a kick ass car!
Why pick a certain style? JDM, USDM, whatever. Make it your own car.
And Euros and Aussie want ricey styled cars back from the first fast and furious with flashing lights and loud sound systems and shiny mexican stoled rims
