One of the best episodes you've produced Ryan, the imagery, drone shots and personal thoughts were fantastic. Love your work mate.
Thank you mate. Always a worry when you try something different, but bonus when it is received well. Appreciate your feedback bud and I’ll see you at the next one. Cheers legend

Been watching you since Namibia trips💯💯
You are cut above the rest, top drawer staff
Thank you Tafadzwa. Just thankful to be able to take you on the adventure. Glad you enjoyed it mate, and see you at the next one 🤙
This video was the last straw that broke the camel's back for me to join your patreon. I bumped into your content and I am absolutely mesmerized. I would love to suggest that you invite travelers to south africa to join you for a fee to see some of these places. You could coordinate it with car rental companies. I have watched many videos of you and the thing that always comes to mind is your humanity and how I would love to have a beer with you. I would like to connect separately to share ideas. Thanks for this amazing content!!! I still do not understand why south african countries have not organized themselves the way east africa has with seamless border crossing and integration. Even foreigners get an East African visa for easy movements across the region. Greetings from the US. I
Thank you Andrew. Much appreciated for your comment and kind words. Yes, something new is brewing in the background and hopefully it all works out.
I see Botswana and Zimbabwe are now in testing phase of seamless border crossings, so maybe the change is happening. I am not sure this is a good thing to be honest. I still think some form of control and due diligence is needed, just something a bit more updated.
Stay safe and keep well over your festive season. To you and yours be merry.
Greetings from South Africa legend and I’ll see you at the next one 👌
Hi Ryan, that was a brilliant conclusion to your series. One of the most beautiful African Overland series I've seen so far. You can feel how much work but also how much passion goes into the videos. It's nice that we can be involved in this way. Kind regards from Bavaria, Germany

Beautiful, brilliant and exactly my dream. I've grown up in the then Natal Parks Board Reserves, travelled the world as a Merchant Seaman, 4x4'd all my life, farmed bananas, Avon's and macadamias in the lowveld, studied Nature Conservation, qualified as a 4x4 unit standards facilitator and manage River catchments along with playing guitar and singing in two bands and so for al manar of occasions. You have done and are doing what I have dreamt of this al my life. Thank you!!!!

This is a bucket list trip for me. I own a Mahindra Karoo 4x4 double cab which I have immense respect for. What would I need in terms of self recovery and minor repairs? Would a good quality canvas canopy suffice?

@@4x4ventures_southafrica I am very interested in your story: how you came to the decision to become "a fulltime youtuber" . What was you job , how did you find the courage to make that change and why did you want to. Which steps did you take and what were the financial implications, things like that. Maybe more people are interested, then it could be a topic for a new clip ? (Or did you allready)
Anyway, great to see you follow your dreams allthough it is not allways easy.
Awesome, I’ve never thought of that. Creating a back story. Honestly always thought it wouldn’t be something people would be interested in. Great, you have my old proverbial hamster spinning now. I think it could be quite interesting to answer these on the next adventure. Brilliant. Thank you Iddo for your suggestions mate. I will work it out as an inclusion in an upcoming episode 👌
@@4x4ventures_southafrica 👍
I find back story episodes very interesting
Ryan I am your fan from Kenya, thanks for sharing this amazing adventure, what camera do you use for videos at night?
Thank you Mbeni. I use the Sony A7iv but it’s more about the lens and post production. Stay strong 🤙

Thank you Clive. I salute you mate for your support and appreciation for the show.
The ranger has done some hard kms. And, all will be revealed and more at the next episode mate. It’s going to be a good one I hope.
At this point she had done about 153,800 kms
See you at the next one
Excellent stuff, holding your cards close to your chest tho, never did say which you preferred, Botswana, Zambia or Zim?? 😜
Thank you Nola, I prefer Botswana. Just because it is closer, half the price, and has very good wild life experiences in different ecosystems. But, I really enjoy experiencing new places
Very nice. Had to watch all the episodes. Out of curiosity, what time of year were you in Liuwa?
Thank you and glad you enjoyed. I did mention dates in the episodes?
We travelled in the month of early May 2023. Water levels were low this year, so roads were still accessible. Louwlardia plains is prone to proper flooding, and sometimes only opens up in June.
How does the 2.2 litter handle around ruts and muddy situations with a heavy set up like the bull bar? I have 2.2 4x4 just like yours too. So I’m curious what will it feel like when I set it up. Im currently on 33inch tires
I am also on true 33 inch tyres. It handles very well. Lower tyre pressures and really good traction. It still does get stuck, in thicker sand and mud, but with enough momentum it does well. The hamer Africa bulbar is actually very very light (28kgs) and houses a 12000 lbs winch, which helps for most tough occasions 🙌
Thanks
Thank you Tendayi. It is really appreciated, your support. Stay safe and I’ll see you at the next one 🙌
Thanks!
Thank you Tom, thank you for your support legend. I am humbled and appreciate it 🙌 have a good one and I’ll see you at the next one legend
