I know a caoimhe. When I first met her my mate thought it would be funny for me to spell her name because I am dyslexic. As you can imagine I was no where close and when I saw it I didn't believe it 😂😂. But being true Irish she can out drink rugby players 😂😂.
That was my wife I was getting Olly to wish happy birthday to. From Tipperary and she can out drink any rugby player too😊😊

And then when the farmer goes bust from not having any income, the land will be sold to a housing developer to tear apart, concrete over, and sell onto folk who will then have to pay the gov tax for their new home.

Drill a few holes in the bottom of a bucket, then stick it by the bale stack so you can throw all the hay cap screws in and not lose them.

I still recall going to the parts dept for a rigid tine and tooth for a Ransoms eight tine rigid tool bar cultivator in about 67. It was sixteen pounds and i nearly fell over backwards when he told me .that equates to 354 pounds now according to the inflation calculator app on my ipad. I definitely felt there was a rip off going on even though it was a hefty bit of steel. I can remember that even all these years ago.

I agree it does seem unconventional and not a goer for some but why not do both and get an extra bit of dosh for your efforts especially in years when your harvest is crap and a loss maker. Equally keeping the general public on side is similarly important if you want them to buy your food stuffs and the like. Many farmers are joining up to ELMS and other schemes but I can see what you’re saying as the definition of a farmer is a food producer or someone who tends other crops or livestock in harmony with the natural environment. Thanks for explaining the drills as it helps none farmers like me understand. I love the way James just looks at the camera and says nothing. 😂 I bet he’s not as quiet when the camera is off and he’s playing with his Henry 😂. 70% today as I got a lot of seeds planted. All we need now is for the rain to stop for a week or two for the ground to dry out

To make an oven use kingspan & space heaters. I use kingspan & heat guns for cerakote/ powder coat

Hi olly I was a baker confectioner for 34 years I gave it up two years ago I ran bakeries for SuperValu in Ireland I also ran my own bakery British flour the protein in it would not be very high usually around 11 percent they mix it with Canadian flour to bring up the protein you need strong bakers flour for pan bread or else it would collapse you can use a powder gluten to give the flour strength you will also need a proper for the bread to rise it's a chamber with heat and humidity for the yeast to react and rise the humidity stops the top of the bread from getting a skin on the dough it puts a wet mist on the top of the dough great video olly

will you use your own grain in the loaf of bread your talking of doing .........be really cool i think if you did .........you could show the whole process of preparing the soil , driiling the seed , fertiliser / spraying , harvesting, carting grain to the mill ......then the final process of baking the bread.......eeere i think i deserve a slice of that loaf for giving you that idea😀😀

The way we farm has advanced so much over the yrs that we are no longer a seasonal veg grower we have the the capability to grow all types of veg and less need to import beans from Kenya tomato’s from South Africa kiwi fruit from where ever it is this would cut down on the carbon footprint print and help British farming. We have enough milk we have enough beef lamb pork and chicken so let’s help Britain farms

I see Wardy and Tom Lamb growing sugar beat, and I know Wardy now is growing beans and I know that everyone is jumping away from OSR. What are the main things that dictate what crops you can grow?
I also see in on the US channels them growing a whole bunch of maize and soya beans. I can understand to]he maize because of the ethanol, but soy beans, I don’t see huge amounts grown in the UK.
I have always presumed vegetables as the most awkward (conditions wise), is that the case?
Finally thanks for the idiots guide to fert spreading and drilling, it is very interesting. With the second way of spreading it are each dispenser computer controlled to reflect how much is needed related to harvest yields.
