The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution is less than $8 and it does the exact same thing as the Drunk Elephant T.L.C. Sukari Babyfacia which is $80. In fact, The DE one only has 25% AHA so you're getting even a little more in The Ordinary. I haven't tried the DE but the Ordinary leaves my face feeling so soft it's ridiculous. Totally worth it. (They're chemical peels in case anyone is wondering)
Regarding hyaluronic acid: Hada labo (a Japanese brand) gokujin premium hyaluronic solution, alcohol (ethanol) and fragrance free is lovely. 13 us dollars or about 10 quid for 170 ml. On amazon. Used in your routine or under a face sheet mask, really helped, actually cured my retin a peeling. Thankyou for the video.
OK, an odd dupe. I use to have facials with a natural (OK, hippie) estheticians. She used ground rice to exfoliate. Odd I know, but leaves skin smooth and soft. She showed me how to make it, use coffee/spice grinder (for this process only) take organic rice and grind into fine powder. I know your thinking easier to buy powder scrubs, but I use for all over skin., and use a lot of it... So for me it is ideal. I lather up and take powder and massage in and rinse. I'm not totally into "all natural" skincare, I love me some chemicals. But this is a good one, sugar and salt scrubs are too rough on my skin. I also have jumped on the ordinary train and love four products from the line (buffet, HA-B5, retinol 2% and 30% glycolic peel) use these as supplements to my tried and true products. Examples: buffet is peptide rich so I combo with cerimide and antioxidant serums, retinol 2% for two nights then PC 1% on the third.
This is why I like to read comments!! What a great idea!! I'm definitely going to try this before I spend the money on a rice powder exfoliant. Thanks so much! : )
Mel Swenson you've just given me the idea of oat milk finely milled . As it's fantastic for soothing irritated dry skin.. I'm going to try them as a scrub , then soak 😀😀thanks xx
I splurged on the Hyaluronic Serum of Pestle and Morter and I have to say I have never been so happy with a product! I react to skincare made for sensitive skin even so I was bracing myself for disappointment, but it made my skin look so good even just after the first night. I know I sound like a commercial, hahah, but I am amazed!
Hi Nadine , new to your channel after listening to you on Emma's podcast. Have just got L'Oréal Hydro genius- got it for £6.65 plus ordered vitamin c from the ordinary, cannot wait to try these. It's lovely to see a no nonsense vlog from someone who actually has experience! Which is what I need at 45 😊 I only started looking at you tube to see what my daughter was watching and now finding amazing women with great content..thank you xx
Please do more of these budget finds! I found Hydra genius from this video and it's one of my holy grail skincare product now. I don't want to spend a fortune on skincare as I go through them so fast. It would be great to find out your supermarket favourite products.
Love your chat, no frills, up front, high and low prices, combined with charm and gorgeousness, perfect, always always want to buy something after watching you x
I really loved the decleor cleansing milk (around £20), but I'm really liking the gerlinde naturals cleaning milk (around £13). The gerlinde is British, cruelty free and handmade to order. Both really work on my dry/eczema prone skin as they're very gentle. I really want a dupe of the L'Occitane divine cream (around £70) (which is over budget and not as natural as I would like), but oh how fabulous it is. The texture is very rich but it sinks in and really moisturises my dry/mature skin. I like natural cleansers and moisturisers but I'm happy to use a high tech serum - moderation being key. My skin reacts a lot better to essential oils but really hates synthetic fragrence (dryness, rashes, general irritation, eczema flare ups etc). To avoid pilling with water based serums from the ordinary (when used with oil rich creams), I've been adding squalane to the serum prior to applying. This stops any reaction of layering for me - just in case anyone else is having problems. Best wishes.
Oh, Nadine, this is absolutely fabulous - as are you! You're so informed and informative. Thank you for looking out for our skin and our wallets, while educating us along the way. We're huge fans of The Ordinary line and will definitely be on the hunt for the others you mentioned. Many thanks! - xx, Cindy & Carla (2 Real Chicks)
Hi Nadine.... What a great and helpful review of dupe products....I'm always on the look out for alternative and cheaper products to suit my budget, so this is great! Your skin looks amazing! By the way, love the bunny mask.....where did you get it from ? xx
I used to use the L'Oreál moisturiser but it contains high levels of alcohol Denat which many say is bad for your skin. On the ingredient list it comes third, which means it's there's more alcohol after water than any other ingredient.
Hello Nadine I recently discovered your channel and have been binge watching ever since. It's so refreshing and quite wonderful to see a beauty youtuber actually getting into the nitty gritty chemistry of it all - your lovely dad did us all a huge favour by getting you hooked on it. I was wondering if you would be interested in and could possibly make time to talk a bit about your skincare recommendations for people in their early thirties. Since you’re looking oh so fabulous I’m rather tempted to “just copy” your skin care regiment but am afraid I might ask too much of my skin. Have an awesometacular day in the Milky Way
Hi Nadine, so glad I found your channel--so much informative, awesome information. Are you saying that we can't have both the tightening effect of hyaluroinc acid if we also need moisturization at the same time? Thanks
Connie Nunez I'm also confused! You should use a moisturizer just not a lot of it. But what I now get from this video is that this form of HA sits on top of the skin, doesn't penetrate it, and therefor I don't understand if it's better to use the NIOD form of HA she mentioned as the middle range which does penetrate the skin and I assume is a better hydrate.
Hila Adar I think it depends of the molecular size of the ingredient. The smaller the molecule the more likely it will penetrate the skin. The NIOD and hylamide ones for example are different sized molecules (there are derivatives of HA that can do this) are can therefore penetrate different layers of the skin. Similarity with AHAs - lactic Acid is a larger molecule and therefore better for more sensitive skins as doesn't penetrate as deep whereas the molecules in Glycolic are much smaller so it goes deeper. HA can be counter productive, it can hold up to 1000 times its weight in water but it needs something on top of it to draw that moisture from. If it doesn't have that then it will draw the moisture from the skin and thus make it feel tight and actually drier over time. Personally I use a pure form of hyaluronic Acid in the morning and a multi molecular form in the evening to get the benefits of both and always follow with a moisturiser.
Sarah is right - all HA is great for the skin but some penetrate the tops layers and others sit on t he surface (which is why NIOD MultiMolecular is such a great product, it has both). The surface ones, tend to form a film that tightens and if you put moisturiser wit oil evr the top it breaks this bond so you get less tightening, but still lots of hydration X
Love when I see you have a new blog!! Thank you Nadine, I bought the ordinary serum on your recommendation, I like value for money and will now try the L'Oréal Paris Hydra Genius as I don't mind the smell!! Your a beauty genius xxx
Hi Nadine I just love your channel. You are a fountain of much needed and wise information. I look forward to each clip posted. Without sounding awful, would it be insensitive to suggest that when you add text over your clips, that you select it to appear from the top first and then reveal . I find it plays with my mind that I'm reading the end before the beginning of the text. I hope you don't mind my suggestion. You present your channel so beautifully, with unbiased and reliable evaluations of products, which I have then purchased and loved. Thank you for the great job you do. I also love that you know the chemical and molecular detail of the body and the products which also elevate your opinions and feedback. Happy Easter. 🐰
Oh Nadine I was just going to order the L'Oréal dupe but then you said about smell. Can't bear certain smells in skin care normally the drugstore ones. I will buy the Clinique one when it comes to the U.K. As don't like the tightening feel of the ordinary one thanks for all your advice 😘😘
Sorry I forgot to ask about your thoughts on dimethicone in skin care? I find it hard to avoid in so many products. Recently I have band it from my routine, but I have so many products left that contain it and I find myself wanting to use them.
Nadine, thank you sooo much for mentioning fragrance - I am horribly sensitive (respiratorally, lesser so topically), and I have to stick with fragrance-free lines like Clinique and Paula's Choice, and when I can find it - Olay fragrance-free versions. Forget Estee Lauder or Lancome!
Clinique take the day off balm is at least 30€, The Body Shop Chamomile Cleansing Butter is under 15€. They do the same thing and the TBS one is actually a bit quicker and more effective. Downside? It contains shea butter and fragrance, so not adequate for people who react to that. The Cleansing Oil is even more effective than the Butter and has no Shea Butter there (still a bit of fragrance, though). Caroline Hirons + Pixi Double cleanse I think is the perfect dupe for the Clinique balm because it is totally green/allergen-free and it comes with the cream for the second cleanse. The downside is that it contains less product of each, but it's really travel-friendly and you only need one tub on your bathroom counter :) it comes to almost the price of the Clinique one, though.
Thanks Nadine, you have hit on exactly what I wanted to know. I'm going to soon run out of my cleansers and moisturisers, and am looking for new products. My skin leans toward dry, is yours dry or oily? You look lovely so I can't tell. Love your videos. Thanks for sharing these great products.
I'm a bit confused about the whole tightening effect with the hyaluronic acid meant it was drawing moisture from the skin and not externally. Because of this, I always make sure there is some moisture on my skin before applying my hyaluronic acid serum.
Hi Nadine! Re the dupe for the Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant, have you tried the Indeed Labs Facial Powdered Exfoliator? (Same lot who make Hydraluron) I swear it is exactly the same as Daily Microfoliant, and in Australia where I am, it's half the price. And it's awesome! Highly recommend! 😊
jaderobbo hello, this dupe sounds amazing and i need to try it as many of you seem to have done. As a fellow Australian where abouts exactly do you buy it here. i have mature dry skin and would love to try it. thanks for info
Love this kind of video and am already looking forward to your makeup one! I used the Dermalogica daily microfoliant (£48 for 75g) for years. Then I discovered the Biore baking soda powder (£7.40 for 125g) and haven't looked back. It doesn't have the salicylic acid but I find exfoliants are on the skin for such a short time that really makes no difference; it still gives that glorious glass-like smoothness that only a good powder cleanser can achieve 😊
The NEUTROGENA 3 step system for acne has a cleanser with glycolic acid that has that fine microfoliant type powder suspended in it. The Neutrogena acne cream cleanser is a mix of salicylic and glycolic in a cleanser as well if I'm not mistaken.
Nadine, can you use these skin care products for dry Rosacea skin types? Do you have any good recommendations for cleansing and moisturizing for dry Rosacea skin that falls in the little more affordable price range? After retiring I have decided to start saving some money on my cleansing routine as well as my makeup. When I was working I would never have thought about the price of anything related to Skincare or makeup but after retiring decided I better make some changes. I do live in a dry climate. I live in Colorado, USA. Thank you.
My girls Pixiwoo sent me here, and I'm so glad because I have been waiting for a video like this. You have saved me a ton of money, honey. Thanks, Nadine!
I can't stand scent in skin care, so many wonderful products I won't use because of my sensitive eyes that cant' deal with scent on my face. I will be trying this Clinique. Thanks
Hi Nadine... I tried a few products from the ordinary... I used a few of the products... I found that it made my skin so sore... when I used the hyloronic acid my skin purged but after 2 weeks it hadn't settled down so I had to stop using it all... I don't know if my skin is just super sensitive as whenever I changed my skincare at all it breaks me out and gives me such sore skin... I did give it all to my mother in law who loved it and said people had complimented her skin xxx
Hi Sarah! I also have really sensitive skin. I'm not able to use anything with fragrance, and I have to be careful not to over exfoliate, or my skin will become red and irritated. One product I've used for years is the Paula's Choice Intensive Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum. I can use this every single night with absolutely no irritation. About 2 years ago I decided to try the Paula's Choice Clinical 1% Retinol (very strong in comparison), which I can't use more than twice a week. So, what I do is alternate it with the Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum. I really do love this serum and feel confident recommending it to you. I think it would be perfect for someone like you who is very sensitive. You could also try mixing your stronger retinol with a few drops of fragrance free facial oil, or apply a layer of moisturizer first before applying the retinol. This will act as a barrier so that it is not so intensive. I have found that my skin is becoming more tolerant to the stronger retinol as time goes on. I think your skin adjusts to it after awhile, but it takes time, and you have to go slow. The first time I used the 1% retinol, my face was red and sore and peeled badly. I didn't use it again for months!! I did, however, get brave and try it again, and it wasn't as bad the second time. Now, I don't react to it like I used to. My skin no longer gets sore and red, as long as I don't use it everyday. Hopefully, I will get to the point where I can use it every day! Definitely think about trying the Paula's Choice Intensive Wrinkle Repair Retinol Serum. It's very gentle for sensitive skin. They 100% guarantee all their products, so if you have any type of reaction, they will refund your money. Good luck! : )
Thank you so much for your recommendation ... I did use a barrier of moisturiser before using the retinol cream... I could only use an oil on my skin for about 6 weeks after as it was so sore and tight and the flaking lasted ages. It's settled now and I went back to my old skincare which is very basic... I use an exfoliater etc in the shower and after I use tea tree (Superdrug one) and vitamin e (Superdrug own brand) and a vitamin e oil as well... and my eye cream... I'm scared to try the retinol again but I will look into Paula's choice... thanks for the response xxx
Sarah Caplan try the rentiond 2 percent from the ordinary. i have never used one so i thought this would be a good one to try. i yse it every other night and i love it. there is no skin flaking nothing but after a month i noticed a difference in my skin . thete is no irritation with this serum but you do get results.
Love this vlog, I'm a big lover of Dr Sebagh Serum Repair too! You've just reminded me i've got an un-opened bottle of NIOD Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex to try out! Looking forward to the make-up dupe's 🙌🏻 xx
hydration vaccine by niod has changed my skincare game. I've had terrible adult acne and finally figured out that if my skin wasn't hydrated properly, nothing would work right. I haven't had a new pimple since starting it a month ago. it's pricey but so worth it. p.s. I live in Phoenix so, the desert, double whammy. also got a humidifier for my room
Hi Nadine, have you done a video on sun care? I'm particularly interested in suncream to be worn under makeup. You say you never put your face in the sun and look great for it! Wondered if you have any tips? Thank you in advance! X
Nadine, you have gorgeous skin! My goal is to have nice skin like you. I'm going for a BBL treatment next month. I am subscribing because you're obviously doing something right! Cheers from Louisiana!
Only found your channel a few days ago and I'm so glad I did. I've been wanting to change my extremely good but expensive skin routine for a while and you gave me a few ideas. Just wondering if you've tried La Prairie's anti aging skin care, and how you think it compares to less expensive skincare?
So now I'm really confused :) is this form of HA less effective at hydrating then the NIOD MMCH form of HA? If The Ordinary HA sits on the surface of the skin and doesn't "enter" it does it hydrate less? Will be happy if you could simplify this for me. You're the best! Thanks!
Hila Adar I've worked this out the hard way, as I live in a very sunny, dry environment in Australia (currently 42% humidity on a sunny Autumn day). I used The Ordinary HA for a few weeks. It felt tight and my skin looked worse; quite dehydrated. I think because it sat on the surface of my skin in a dry environment it sucked moisture out of my skin into the environment. I think this product would work the opposite way in a humid environment, drawing water from the atmosphere onto your skin, making it look plumped and hydrated. I do have the NIOD MMHC tester, so I'm going to try that again now that my skin is settling back to normal.
I love Cerave, which you can get at the drugstore. They make face washes and face lotions as well. All their products have hyaluronic acid in them and the price range is between $11-$15 usd.
Hello Nadine, I have been using the lactic acid from the Ordinary and it made me peel like crazy the first couple of days. Should I get retin A to bump up my routine or is the lactic acid strong enough? I'm really pleased with how my skin is looking lately.
Can't wait for the Clinique hyalauronic acid gel to come out. My current hyalauronic acid is prescription and costs a fortune because my insurance doesn't cover it. It's prescribed for Rosacea and eczema so the Clinique product sounds ideal for me. Fingers crossed for no reaction!!!
Hi Nadine, love this. Can those exfoliating powders work with sensitive, rosacea-prone skin? I avoid all exfoliants as they tend to leave my skin feeling so raw!
I noticed you haven't mentioned toners. I have used different acid toners. Do you use a toner and if so what type of toner and do you have any dupes please?
I am a month in to The Ordinary skin care and I cleanse with Cerave Hydrating Cleanser, it’s amazing, it can sting a bit if you have any raw/irritated areas I had some after starting Retinol , the cleanser is a great price point I pay $15 🇨🇦and a few pumps is all I need m doesn’t irritate you eyes ,leaves skin feeling smooth, I also use the Cerave in the Tub for my body I bought the one with the pump from London Drugs for $27 and will just buy the tub in the future which I have done as both Cerave products where on sale at London Drugs for $12 and $21 so I stocked up on 2 of each . I have dry skin and it feels so much better and not itchy like the last, highly recommend these. Cheers all from Falkland BC Canada .
Hi Nadine , I love your channel, it is truly very informative, I had one question... I use Saparano Laser on my face for hair removal, is it true that since I get laser I cannot use retinol? Hope you can help answer this question I have been given so much mixed information (Lastly, I have a warm olive undertone and medium skin). Please help!
👛Nadine, I loved this. Have you trued the B. Range in Superdrug? I recently bought their glycolic cream cleanser which can be used as a mask, it's good and is only about £5. Xx
Omg I Love you! You are so knowledgable but also such a cool woman, you are my new idol. I wanted to like the L'Oreal Hydra Genius serum but my god it smells like a "teenager trying to get his first snog at the disco" IS SO TRUE!! LOL Can't get over that silly smell, your line played back in my head as I tried this cream out LMAO! You're hilarious and know your products. Keep on sharing your views and videos ;-)
hi Nadine . im quite new to your channel and love all your videos ive seen so far . dupes can indeed save money but I think one of the biggest cost outlays can be for devices and its a massive outlay only to find some of them are not great . I enjoyed your advice on hair removal ones tria etc . I have a nono and ive been using it for 3 years its taking ages to see any massive results . my partner has bought a hair stimulation comb for his bald spot also about 3 years ago and although some results its very minimal. ive noticed quite a few new devices appearing on the market recently for firming neck toners etc . lots of money again . I think devices need reviewing by someone like you who we can trust and is not just trying to sell us these things .
Hi Nadine, Please turn the letter H up the other way on your light box - my OCD cannot handle it! Would love to hear about your top SPF's for the face, particularly for oily skin.
Dear Nadine, thanks to Nick from Pixiwoo I found you😊👍🏻And I Need to say your Channel is Perfect, briliant, just gergous!Regarding the clinique concentrate-would you use it in your skincare routine as a sérum or moisturizer? Thank for your lovely advices and have a great Easter holiday☺️ xxx
Love your videos nadine, I have just turned 50 and newly single and feel it’s about time I had a skincare routine which I currently don’t , I’m totally overwhelmed and don’t know where to start please can you help
I found a boscia tsubaki oil-infused exfoliating powder at TJMax that sounds like the Dior...I love it...very gentle but effective....love all your videos!
Hada Labo Hylauronic acid hydrating lotion is a cult favorite in Korean skincare. I found it for like 13 dollars on Amazon. I hear nothing but wonderful things. I'll be ordering soon. :)
I've read time and time again that ph altering products, such as AHA and BHA and vitamin C, tend to lessen the effect of almost all the rest of skincare actives, especialy retinoids. Your take on that, Nadine?
Nadine, have you ever used the serums from Timeless skincare? I use their Vitamin C serum and Hyaluronic acid. They are very affordable & wondering what you think of them.
Nadine, i got engrossed with The Ordinary and bought a series of serums. I use these serums on different days of the week. Example, Monday- hyaluronic acid, tuesday-niacinamide, wednesday-vitamin c... do you think that it will mess up my skin, or should i just stick to 1 serum and use it everyday? I try not to layer them, cos i'm worried i might get breakouts.
Personally I do not like to use Loreal skincare. I felt that most of their skincare are not suitable for sensitive skin. My belief is we should treat our skin as sensitive (even if we thought our skin is not) If a item is not suitable for sensitive skin, we should just skip it. Secondly most of their products are made in China which I have no faith in. And to users who are particular about cruelty free, paraben free etc, Loreal is not the brand they should go for.
They are great value for money - but I find them heavily scented and tbh although I am not sensitive to fragrance (except that I dislike most scents) I agree that all skins should be treated as sensitive, so scented skincare is not my favourite. Their products are not made in China btu are sold in China and so they agree to them being retested on animals (like most beauty brands)which is a huge disappointment. That said things look like they are all set to change at the end of this year when, hopefully, China legislate that there is no need for secondary animal testing on products that have been used safely in the West for decades. Don't get me started on parabens - the parabens in cosmetics are totally safe at the levels used and have saved most of us from using contaminated creams over the years. The paraben debate is total scaremongering. X.
Thanks Nadine! Will try some of these, Yes why is L'oreal scenting their products so heavily? The last couple of hair care products I bought I couldn't use, due to this.
Hello Nadine, thank you for your great video. I have bought The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2%+B5. Can you put your moisturiser after applying the Hyaluronic Acid?
Maria L Gomez-Santos I understand from watching Caroline Hirons' channel that you can moisturise after, but using a water-based moisturiser (usually anything with "hydra" in the name).
Hello Nadine. Do you think that the L'Oréal or the Clinique products you mention interfere with the body's natural moisturising process? Happy Easter Neil (we communicate through Instagram too.)
Hi Nadine very nice informative video as always at the moment for my second cleanser I am using the Neutrogena Hidro boost its very good and cost less than €10 😁😘😘😘
Hi Nadine. Always appreciate you're views. Wondered your view on Clinique' vit c powder vs dr Sebagh and how you would rate them in comparison to say Skinceutical CE & Ferulic. Final question, how are you managing to wear some form of base with the post retinol flaking. I find the base just lingers with all the dry skin even though I use an exfoliator, hot cloth cleanse. Many thanks Stella
Hello Stella The vitamin C powder from Clinique is purely a suped up cleansing polish and not formulated to be added to the serum, so different from the Dr Sebagh one, which I like but it's £££ - I still prefer my vitamin C in a stable serum. And yes I totally get the foundation piling on peeling skin, but I spray on a Hyalamide spray if I start to peel under my makeup, and it's just enough to stick things down until i can exfoliate again X
Thank you for mentioning the scent of the Loreal Hydra Quench. Why ever would they scent it like cheap men's cologne? It was a deal breaker for me and went right back to the store.
Superdrug's B Revealed glycolic cleanser has been around for a few years now and is pretty good value, on at £3.95 instead of usual £7.99 at the moment.
Sorbet Polish Powder is also a great dupe for the Dermalogica Micro Exfoliant..if you are from South Africa like i am and its for a fraction of the price.
We need a 2018-19 version of this video Nadine. They are so useful
We also need a September 2020 version update...
Nailed it Madame ! You're a terrific communicator. Thanks for sharing, please keep posting : )

Mel Swenson you've just given me the idea of oat milk finely milled . As it's fantastic for soothing irritated dry skin.. I'm going to try them as a scrub , then soak 😀😀thanks xx
Yes after watching Nadine I looked this up this DIY Rice powder cleanser and will try.www.peacefuldumpling.com/natural-beauty-diy-exfoliating-powder
Mel Swenson i
omg...the powedered rice is such an old trick that really works....i can't belive that someone actually pays lots of money for chanel fine rice 😂
I love your videos and love your enthusiasm and genuine love of skincare and love of sharing your secrets!
Hi Nadine , new to your channel after listening to you on Emma's podcast. Have just got L'Oréal Hydro genius- got it for £6.65 plus ordered vitamin c from the ordinary, cannot wait to try these. Oh, Nadine, this is absolutely fabulous - as are you! You're so informed and informative. Thank you for looking out for our skin and our wallets, while educating us along the way.
I am soooo happy I found your channel. One video and I was hooked
Love when I see you have a new blog!! Thank you Nadine, I bought the ordinary serum on your recommendation, I like value for money and will now try the L'Oréal Paris Hydra Genius as I don't mind the smell!! Your a beauty genius xxx
Hi Nadine
I just love your channel. 🐰
oooh let me try XX
Nadine - you are exactly right about that L’Oréal HA smell. Wowza! I used on my legs just to keep away from my nose and eyes.
I love your videos! you feel like a glam, cheeky friend that I've met up with for a cup of tea! Happy Easter to you, too xx
Nadine I would love to see you cover vegan cruelty free skin care and make up x
Vikki Poole hey, l'm not sure if you're aware, but the ordinary does a lot of vegan products
Yes, I have a couple of their products and I am liking them so far x
Vikki YES 🙌🏼 xxxx
Sorry I forgot to ask about your thoughts on dimethicone in skin care? I find it hard to avoid in so many products. Recently I have band it from my routine, but I have so many products left that contain it and I find myself wanting to use them.
Hello Mel, I have the same feelings about dimethicone in beauty products, I'm sure Nadine will give us na answear for our questions about it😉👍🏻
I love the hydra genius for dry skin the scent doesn’t bother me too much lol
I am using the Indeed Labs one too and I love it. It lasts forever :)
jaderobbo hello, this dupe sounds amazing and i need to try it as many of you seem to have done. As a fellow Australian where abouts exactly do you buy it here. i have mature dry skin and would love to try it. thanks for info
Miss Stephanie it does!
Lesley 61 from Priceline!
Thanks jaderobbo, I'll pop into my local store today.
Thank you.
Have you tried IPL for your rosacea? It helped me so much. I have a video on it, if you are interested.
My girls Pixiwoo sent me here, and I'm so glad because I have been waiting for a video like this. You have saved me a ton of money, honey. Thanks, Nadine!
Yellow Rose welcome and btw how much do we love Sam and Nic 💜💕❤️💯
I can't stand scent in skin care, so many wonderful products I won't use because of my sensitive eyes that cant' deal with scent on my face. I will be trying this Clinique. Thanks
Happy Easter Nadine, and thanks for all the amazing research and information. ❤ me some awesome dupes!
Sorry I meant the retinol (low percent) that made my skin so sore even after a month and a half xxx
Also fab video xxx
Happy Easter to you too Nadine! Thank you for answering previous questions!!! Can't wait to see your makeup dupes video! 🤗👍🏻
"really, why would you think we wanna smell like teenagers trying to get our first snog at a disco?" killed me at 6 am!
hydration vaccine by niod has changed my skincare game.
You are an amazing addition to YT beauty community! :) Excited to find your channel esp. as my skin requires some TLC at the moment :)
Thank you for doing this! I have got to try the ordinary and the clinique! xo Lori
Thanks!
Hila Adar I was confused too.
Angela Harvey thanks!!! Keep us posted after you try the NIOD one.
I love Cerave, which you can get at the drugstore. They make face washes and face lotions as well. All their products have hyaluronic acid in them and the price range is between $11-$15 usd.
Hello Nadine,
I have been using the lactic acid from the Ordinary and it made me peel like crazy the first couple of days.
So obsessed with your videos. Thank you for being so informative. LOVE!
Thank you Nadine, for all that you do for us beauty nerds
I noticed you haven't mentioned toners. I have used different acid toners. Do you use a toner and if so what type of toner and do you have any dupes please?
Of course we're watching!!😘 Happy Easter 🐣 xxxx
Thanks for the dupes Nadine, any updates on your Retin A use? do you use alone or do you layer? I'm on 0.05℅ and notice how much drier my skin is...🤔
Nadine, thank you so much for description of how you use HA to "tighten" . Do you add any moisture before or after to get that tightening effect?
First video I have ever seen by you and I love it!!!Def subbed thanks so much xx
Great video Nadine , i think we all like to save a dollar or two ( in your case a pound or two ) love this video, thanks
Thank you so much for the video... where in the routine would you put the hyaluronic acid ? Would you still suggest it for oily skin?
I use it first on damp post cleansed skin and it is perfect for oily skin and it might be all of the moisturiser that you need X
Hi Nadine, Please turn the letter H up the other way on your light box - my OCD cannot handle it! Would love to hear about your top SPF's for the face, particularly for oily skin.
This is my main gripe with L'oreal is their fragerance and alcohol, they have huge labs, they could do better!
Thank you for all the great dupes.
I love microfoliant. It reminds of when my kids were babies - it smells like baby rice. So lovely.
What do you think about using a Clarisonic? Is it recommended with exfoliating cleansers
I despise loreal full of parabens and loaded with perfume and they don't work I will never use loreal again
+Nadine Baggott they are loaded with perfume and don't work loreal is horrible
Casper Nara I agree 100% with u. It's time China gets the message that animals are not to be used as ingredients or as food!
I spent money on the hydra genius... smells nice but was horrible for my skin. Now it just sits in my closet
Thanks Nadine! Will try some of these, Yes why is L'oreal scenting their products so heavily? The last couple of hair care products I bought I couldn't use, due to this.
Neutrogena makes a decent hydro boost line too.
Angela Harvey . Thank you Angela for your helpful reply. 💐💐
Malu Santos I use Nuetrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream after wards , seems to be working .
DUPE. Exfolikate gentile brightening face scrub ($65). Acure brightening face scrub ($12). I was so happy to discover this!
One more! Pixi Glow Tonic ($15/3.4oz) The Ordinary Glycolic toning solution ($8.70/8.1oz!!).
More dupes Lady please!!! Happy Easter! 🖤💀🖤
Nadine what is your opinion regarding the Obagi system? Thank you
Noblesse Oblige Beauty Obaji is a game changer....best skin ever.
so fantastic that you keep us informed. Thank you very much xxx
the LOreal product is absolutely fantastic and for me the scent l don't mind and l got in boots for £8 - love your videos
My Dear your blush is a perfection! If you still remember
your skin is super beautiful
Hello Nadine. Do you think that the L'Oréal or the Clinique products you mention interfere with the body's natural moisturising process? Happy Easter Neil (we communicate through Instagram too.)
65NART no because they are Hyaluronic Acid based not occlusive oil based x
Hi Nadine very nice informative video as always at the moment for my second cleanser I am using the Neutrogena Hidro boost its very good and cost less than €10 😁😘😘😘
tests on animals :( not worth it.
Sephora makes an amazing powder scrub too! I loved the one from Body Shop, I think it was izuki bean powder? It was really good.
this video was so helpful, thank you so much. I absolutely love your videos
Hello Stella
The vitamin C powder from Clinique is purely a suped up cleansing polish and not formulated to be added to the serum, so different from the Dr Sebagh one, which I like but it's £££ - I still prefer my vitamin C in a stable serum. And yes I totally get the foundation piling on peeling skin, but I spray on a Hyalamide spray if I start to peel under my makeup, and it's just enough to stick things down until i can exfoliate again X
Hi Nadine! I'm new to your channel. What do you recommend for the neck? Thanks!
Thank you Nadine, happy Easter to you! 🇦🇺
