I adore David. He is so intelligent, funny and honest. I have met him a dozen times and found him to be very natural and decent. I can truly say that his work changed my life. 🧡
...wow/a dozen times 😮 I hope you have a conversation, of sorts, made from those lucky encounters. He'd definitely be someone cool to meet and have an exchange of thoughts or ideas with. 😊
Didn't realise this was over an hour long. Absolutely love David Duchovny. Loved The X Files. I STILL collect X Files memorabilia. Love Gillian Anderson as well. To grow up in the 90's was such an exciting time. Thank you for this interview.
Agreed, absolutely enjoy when David is willing to talk about things at length because I appreciate the type of person he is and how he sees and explains things. X-Files is also my favorite show glad to have some more of his insight and background!
Duchovny’s podcast/novel focus on failure there at the end reminds me of the Ben Folds song Still Fighting It, which he says he wrote for his son after wrestling with all the pain and suffering this person he brought into the world will go through, both of which really resonated with me. Thanks!
I got a BA studying English And David has a point about authors studied in colleges and universities not being entirely contemporary and modern day. I went to college in the 1990s and i do recall reading 20th century authots but mostly novelists, short story writers and poets from 19th and 18th century .
As a former English/ literature major, I always found it intriguing that Duchovny was a grad student in Literature and in a PhD program and left it to become an actor. Frankly, though i like Duchovny as an actor, Im more interested in his grad school background maybe because i never chose to get a MA or Phd
I'd love to ask david his literary thoughts on Sinclair Lewis's 1930s novel, 'It Couldn't Happen Here' I'm listening to the Grover Gardner narration, I have to say it is a scary book.
Love David, he's so down to earth, speaks about real life struggles, learning and growing as a human being. 👽 Super fan of the X-Files 🤓

What a wonderful, self-deprecating, talented, funny person is David D. It would be a highpoint of my life to meet him.
David is so sweet ❤
my second listen today, thx for the in depth interview with my favorite actor!

David duchovny has been my hero for 32 years. I've met him twice and it was amazing. Waiting to see you again. Don't forget Linda Kelly ❤

Awesome interview
Such a good interview, thanks
David Duchovny and Harrison Ford need to play old brothers in something. That's the comment.
Good interviewer, Thanks

Binge watching Californication, he is brilliant in it, more than X-Files. Big XF fan, but love Moody more than Mulder.
