Willow Creek Campground - Black Hills South Dakota

This quiet campground is located 6 miles from Mt Rushmore and 10 miles from the Crazy Horse Memorial.
Mt Rushmore KOA is across the road from the entrance.
Online reservations for Willow Creek Campground can be made at www.recreation.gov/camping/ca...
Trails that can be accessed from the campground:
-Willow Creek Trailhead into the Black Elk Wilderness
-Lost Cabin Trail
-Palmer Creek Trail
Sites 4 - 9 are designated for horse camping and each has its own corral.
Sites 1 - 3 are located in their own loop for regular camping.

Another great option to camp at when we take our boys next May! Save some $$ on hotels and just bring some camping gear with us instead! Thanks.

Hotels were $250+ a night when we were up there. As much as $400 on weekends. We'll have more videos from eastern Wyoming and Badlands National Park coming up this fall.

Willow Creek trail (loop trail) is very nice. I did it a couple of weeks ago and it was fairly easy. Starts just outside of the campground.
