We researched Bali a couple of years back and started watching your vlogs as we had not been back for a few years, we found your content enjoyable and informative and picked up allot of great stuff from you including Holafly, Surfshark and some great travel tips along the way, we still watch you guys every week and love your layback and honest content. It's not so much that "no one cares" it's more "another thing the internet has killed"
As a man in his 50s I remember going abroad and having very little expectations, there were guide books and other people's tales but I went and had my own experience, good and bad.
Now...I see ENDLESS video diaries of people almost walking me around, I can access street view, reviews, I can even see live cam feeds...
there's no mystery anymore.
The beauty of travel was the mystery and excitement of change, that no longer exists we now almost always go somewhere with a mental model fixed in place. Also, the more we see of other places the more we are realising they aren't actually that different or spectacular.
Travel has been over commercialised, people selling an idea of a dream lifestyle, if TH-cam wasn't paying 98% of vlogs would vanish overnight. It's become a business model that has sadly sucked a lot of joy and all the mystery out of the experience.
After travelling for many years I'm now super eager to find a base and enjoy a solid, happy routine.
My goal...create a life I don't feel the need to run away from ❤️
I loved this style and getting to connect with y'all, I'd love to see the "behind the sense" how do y'all plan, film, edit, creative processes (title thumb nails keyword) etc 😃

I actually saw you on Tuesday afternoon in Break and Run bar in Hua Hin on Tuesday afternoon. I was going to come over and say hello etc but you both looked as if you were having some “we time”. Watched you playing pool and it was as if it was just you two in the bar as you played, which was really nice.
I enjoy your content and it’s good to see that you’re enjoying Hua Hin, I’ve lived in HH for two years and for me it’s got everything I need.

My pet peeves of travel vloggers: 1. Coffee montages 2. Using giant cameras for super resolution that will probably spool on my end, when your phone will do fine. 3. Totally bogus thumbnails. 4. Vloggers that will constantly use, but never acknowledge that skin sells. I think Gone with the Wynns are the only ones that have said it out loud. I got a chuckle when Lloyd said "I dont think id like to do this on my own." Compare the numbers on "Trent and Allie" and "Trent's Garage". This is not a dudes game.

Nice temple and great points on being a TH-camr. When I first got on TH-cam there was no partnership program. I was just putting up videos to share with my family, who ended up not watching 😂. Luckily I don't need TH-cam money to keep me going, I just do it because Iike making videos. I know my videos are not great and I might never make it big, but every day I try to get a little better and that helps.

Very recognizable views, especially when you said nobody cares. We (similar nomadic lifestyle but without the cameras) also found that out. Harsh and sad, but also liberating. Just do whatever the fffffk you want, nobody has the capacity to care anyway.

I’ve been watching you guys since you started your channel and gave enjoyed all your information you have shared. I have a vlog for shorts only, because I don’t know how to edit. The first thing I need to do is upgrade my phone. I have an iPhone SE, which has a small screen and not much memory. I keep telling myself that because I’m afraid of editing. Lol, I know that’s a LAMO excuse but I’m afraid I won’t be able to do it I bought myself a Lennox laptop last year and waited to long before realizing it couldn’t download the editing programs that I wanted to use.: iMovie and a few others I thought I could try. I haven’t used the computer since.
Internet cost $120/month and I’m really cheap! Lol.
There is sooooo much information out there that I don’t know where to start with much of what is out there. I want to make vlogs that are edited but I’m afraid that I won’t be able to edit vlogs. I’m not that tech savvy, so I have a lot of fear because of it.I’m frozen with fear, what do I do?

Not True , your biggest problem is Lloyd , he is so bland and a downer , when he starts talking you automatically want to turn off , and go to sleep, no offence but your channel would improve greatly if he was behind the camera, the audience watching this channel want to be uplifted, our 9 to 5 , lives are boring, we need to be motivated, when Lloyd speaks it’s such a downer , I stop watching 🙄
I disagree. ...Lloyd just has a different personality from Mandy. I love listening to both of them, partly because they are different in their delivery & sometimes you can relate to one more than the other. I love this channel. (But if course, everyone is entitled to their own opinion)
