Halo Reach - Forge World - Aircraft Carrier
My buddy forged this in Halo Reach Forge World. It's the best Forge reproduction of an aircraft carrier I've ever seen. Check out the vid, it's worth a watch if you're a Halo or Navy enthusiast.

This would be such an awesome arm the bomb game or whatever it's called. If there were two of these a little ways from each other you would have to infiltrate the enemy's ship and arm a bomb on it, that would be so awesome.

Pretty impressive. I've spent 3 deployments on an aircraft carrier and haven't found a forge version of one that looks anything like one from the inside, and outside. The hanger bay is very good as well as vultures row and skin of the ship. Bravo zulu!
Mod the map and add Rocket Hog turrets.

@juan041697 I've been inside of an aircraft carrier of today. A Nimitz-class carrier. (I've been aboard the Nimitz and the Lincoln) and I can tell you they call those things "floating cities" for a reason. They're massive. This is an amazingly done ship and I'm personally dumbstruck that they managed to make that scale work. Good work, creator. Wonderful job.

One thing I like about this video is music that doesn't suck like every other video on youtube that plays "Let the bodies hit the floor".

This is the most epic forge thing i have ever seen it is perfectly made just like a real aircraft carrier. U could use it for stuff like capture the flag have like an air battle before you get to each side of the map like red or blue base could be on the shore with all the falcons and banshees the flag would be inside red/blue base the other flag in the carrier but the callenge would be to get back to your base
3 month's ago I see this map and I want to download it so I register to bungie and buy reach and now I finaly got it...Respect for this
I remember a rooster teeth podcast back before reach was released, Geoff Ramsey talking with anticipation about what people would do with Forge world in a few months.
It's maps like this which validate that statement.
They really need to make Forge 2.0, that actually has EVERYTHING available for all maps, including firefight. ForgeWorld is great, but itd be nice to add more props than just fold out chairs, crates and reactors. Call me greedy, but we got spoilt enough with what Bungie gave us with everything Halo, so ofcourse everyone is going to want more!

To all the people saying they want to use this as part of their map or add on to it, that they'll give credit to the maker, you don't have to do trouble yourself with asking or saying that, it'll say who the original maker of the map is on the map info & it'll say you just modified it. I really don't know either, like the ghost it is now basically a power weapon rather than a vehicle that you can get a few kills with and then dismiss. Atleast the falcon required a bit of team work and could help move troops from A to B and if you were skilled enough you could carry the flag in it. They should have kept the falcon and dropped the banshee IMO.

Should have. put a rocket warthog in place of the missile silos, Just fix the warthog into place, making only the turret accessible. Epic map dude, I love it.

Make this an assault or capture the flag map. Make a small base for the attackers on the island and place a grid in the water so they can drive warthogs to it.
Or perhaps fly to it in a falcon so its more realistic?
Great job! I made a Yorktown carrier, with the less detail it was naturally smaller but has a top side deck opening where aircraft can ride into and they get hoisted up onto the top deck, ill upload it soon

@halorechfreak2 .... the alignment of the end of this map with the forge world boundary were 'unplanned', hence the more squared look...... you're only supposed to look at it from the front anyways, everybody knows that ;)
this is epic! extremely realistic and i loved the anti-air missle launchers! only if you had unlimited materials and you could make a fleet
Imagine how much this could be update now that we are in the age of MCC on PC

@ODSTD56 They still land on the deck (or jump, jetpack) and attack when there is no one to protect the landing deck so you still get hand to hand combat, but this map seems to be more of a defence map

Man all i have to say is i build nothing but military stuff and this is the best ship i ever seen on hale reach man i build allot of attack boats and carriers and all the others but grate job man
This is amazing! I've downloaded, modified the side and added vehicles. I now have insane side defences replacing the old machine guns.

I know a person better at naval ship forging on Halo Reach (his work is also on Halo 3 and Hal 4, but the big naval ships came in during REACH). i like how you used falcons to simulate helicopters and banshees to simulate fighters.
Thsi would be an insane team slayer or just ffa slayer map. if you plan on making that i recommend having only 4 banshee's just for the purpose of balance. Have banshee fights in the air while gunfights in/on the carrier. But to show off it it already remarkable.

If a took this map, and made a Variant similar to it I would still give this guy full credit.

ThePanzer235: Yes you can. I forge a whole lot and you can make around ten of each vehicle. Excluding tanks.
the only thing that would make this better is if you added her running lights red to port( left) green to starboard(right) and the white lights on the tower and the fore mast and get rid of the AA guns on the sides but other than that it is an excellent forge

ALL HALO 3 FANS LISTEN UP.
September 25th marks the 4 year anniversary of Halo 3. We will celebrate this day by keeping the Halo 3 community alive and playing it at 2pm Eastern Time. We will hopefully make the servers as populated as they were before, and prevent Bungie from taking down the Halo 3 online servers to make us play Halo Reach, while also bringing the original Halo experience back to life. this is awesome... some words of advise to make this better: glass up all of the control tower.. phill it with more boxes and stuff. only put USNC vehicles. and put more things on the deck, like a mongoose to get around ? a big artillery gun ?
@JAMxSkalla16 Lol, it is to limit the amount of objects the game has to render...the 360's can't handle over 10,000 "dollars" worth of stuff. Like the gadgets, such as shield doors and explosives, cost more than blocks because they are harder to render. You can't walk through blocks, so they just sit their as a stationary thing, like a tree or rock and it is just kind of passive the whole game. But something like a shield door has a function, stopping bullets and such, so it "costs" more.
Really great work...one suggestion, instead of using blocks for the SAM launchers, strap a missle hog in place of the blocks. That way, you can actually shoot missles at stuff.
