Just how important is the atmosphere to our planet? It's absolutely vital. It protects us from asteroids and solar radiation. It regulates our climate. It makes life on Earth possible!
Our nearest neighbor, Mars, lost most of its atmosphere some 4 billion years ago, and look what's become of it... Once warm and wet, it ain't the planet it used to be.

It's the short attention span causing you to think that. Without school, you wouldn't have comprehend most of the things talked about in this video. Concepts such as atmospheric pressure, magnetic field, solar radiation etc. are learned in school. You are interested in this because of what you learned in school.

I love this channel. Not gonna lie, that last quote is very truthful. I watched a movie some time ago about the sun just suddenly vanishing. Don't know why, but it makes me appreciate our warm giant and the planet a bit more. Knowing despite our harmful actions towards Earth, there is something out there far bigger that is capable of swiping our home from under us.

I had a Lucid Dream where I disposed of Earth's atmosphere. Everyone choked to death, and the skies were dark and clearer as night. With all the near planetoids being large and magnified. A horrifyingly beautiful panoramic view. What got attention, was the Sun. It was so enormously gigantic. Such a horrifyingly beautiful view
