This just seems more professional than some of the other chiropractors on TH-cam who you see just making the same whole body adjustments for everyone , regardless of the symptoms , meanwhile doctor Ian seems to focus more on just correcting the source of the issue

I was fortunate enough to find a chiropractor years ago who practiced this method. He was the only one who I could go to and walk out pain free. I went to him for 29 years. Sometimes my husband would have to drive me for 6-8 hours to get me to him. I would not have had the quality of life I’ve had if it wasn’t for him and this chiropractic technique. I wish all chiropractors practiced the same. Unfortunately, my chiropractor passed away.

I completely understand how this guy feels. I’ve been there many times. The pain is unlike anything else. I’ve had kidney stones, broken femur, dislocated ankle, natural child birth x 3 and nothing even comes close. Back spasms feel like a knife being driven into your spine then being electrocuted in the same spot. The pain is so bad it takes your breath away. It feels like if you move a fraction of an inch in the wrong direction your spinal cord will be severed.

Love the level of commitment and frustration with the condition at 1:08. Suffered my first lumbar hernia at 12, was taken to a Dr. Love..... and love he showed. I went in on a wheel chair, left walking. Then introduced to acupuncture. Have had one other hernia since and never surgery, yet (50 y/o). Between acupuncture and chiro adjustments I've been able to adapt and live normally. Just seeing this patient made me clinch and spasm, but knew he was going to have relief. I'm sure he continues visiting his trusted doctor that gave him back his health.

I've been in this guy's situation before. What he's going through is like literally one if the worst pains anyone will ever encounter in their life. Years ago I was doing squats in the gym and during my lift, I was coming up,on my last rep and as I did, I felt a click in my lower back. It didn't hurt at first but when I woke up the next morning, OMG. It hurt so bad that I could barely get out of bed. It hurt to walk, use the bathroom and sit down and my upper body was tilted to the side like this guy. I dont wish it on anyone. When you hear those screams from that guy, they are definitely real. Just the slightest touch can hurt it. Its that serious.

I collapsed twice in the same day from back spasms due to a herniated disc…first time in a CVS…second time on the first floor of my apartment building. My neighbor spent an hour helping me get up three flights of steps. Was literally crawling on my hands and knees in pure agony. Would never wish a bad disc injury on my worst enemy. The sad part is my insurance wouldn’t authorize an MRI but my wife who fractured her finger got one authorized without question. US healthcare makes no sense. EMS came to my house and recommended I stay put since there’s nothing a hospital would do to help me that I wouldn’t do at home. Couldn’t stand up straight for 2 weeks atleast. Eventually I healed and got in the gym to strengthen my muscles. Have been injury free since, but I can still feel that the discs in my lower back are injured. I wish I had a chiro like Dr. Ian near me

The Libertarian What were you doing in the weight room? Just wondering

    • @saltyapostle44

It was a freak thing. I was actually spotting my friend who was doing bench press. He had a bunch of weight on the bar and he was a short guy with short arms and he had trouble getting the weigh up over the forks of the bench and he needed a lift off to help him. I had my feet spread apart at a funny angle and I picked up on the bar a split second before he did and it twisted a couple of my lumber vertebrae. I almost passed out from the pain and he said I turned as white as a sheet - lol. I was only 20 years old at the time. That night I was having terrible muscle spasm and pain. Went to a doctor the next day and he gave me muscle relaxers and told me to do these stretching exercises. Didn't help a bit.
I called my dad after the second day and he got me into see his Chiropractor - which I didn't believe in - but I was desperate. When I looked down - my belly button wasn't in the center of my body - my lower back was about and inch out of alignment from the top. He put me back in line with one adjustment and the pain decreased by 85% and the spasms stopped. Got a second adjustment the next day and I was pretty much fixed. Made me a believer. I still have some problems with my back to this day at 49 years old but I suspect I would have been permanently screwed up if I hadn't seen the chiropractor.

I had a lump in my throat watching this bloke because four day's ago I had back spasms , I tried to get out my van and had to go to the ground and lie down in the rain to get relief, went to the Hospital and they done NOTHING , no physical check not even a visual and the nurse said you need to breathe through it your making it happen yourself by tensing up .
I had no control over my body doing it and certainly wouldn't bring that kind of pain on myself , I have had steam burns all over my hands , I have had my arm slashed open so much I could see the muscles moving and I tell you that back spasms are on another level completely .
They gave me 4x 5mg of Diasipam and I took three just to get home and my wife and 14 year old daughter had to lift me off a reclining seat and put me back flat on the floor 20 minutes after getting home , im booked in privately to get hopefully fixed like this man did .

I feel so bad for him at the beginning. I know that type of spasm and that type of “I don’t know what to do” kind of pain, only I have it in a different part of my body- my calves. My fibromyalgia manifests itself in extreme muscle spasms (as well as back pain and skin hypersensitivity) I pretty much got sympathy pains seeing and hearing this cry cry out from just some light touches. I know your pain dude and I’m so sorry.

Atlas Horizon i cried with him...i also suffer from severe muscle spasms..fibromyalgia from my neck muscles down to my back muscles totally tightens up I cannot move. Cried like a baby...voltaren shots also no longer helps. Need to see a chiro as gud as he. So yeah we're all in the same boat.😢 sux being athletic and suffer from such.
