It has to look good but not too good it can't be better than the Lannister armour of Got because of the advances of armour it has to be good but not too good
And in my personal opinion, a vast improvement over their GoT armor. The producers of HotD have been knocking it out of the park with the armor sets! I can't decide which one I love the most!
@@thisisboxingproductions6894they tried to make them likable , but honestly I don’t even see what is likable about them. And yeah it is obvious that the directors chose favorites.
I think it's kind of reasonable to assume that the melody always existed but the Rains of Castamere simply added lyrics to make it into the legendary song it is.
Yeah, I figure this theme is more for the audience's pleasure. Of course the Rains of Castamere is not an in-universe song yet, but viewers still associate it with House Lannister.
Might still work in-universe, it could be that the tune or melody is a much older piece of Westerlands music, and the Rains of Castamere just took an existing piece of music and added lyrics to it.
Tywin was so badass the song created for him was used as Lannister theme 100+ years before he was even born
Was looking for this 😂
The irony of lord Reyne and lord Tarbeck being commanders in this very Lannister army...
Adrian Tarbeck was brilliant in battles and he stormed the red branch river
The armour of Lannisters looks amazing
Perfect usage of 200mil budget,
@@Cortesevasive Yes I agree! It looked really good!
It has the same theme as their armour in GoT but looks like an earlier version of it. I love it.

The Lannisters always pay their debts.
Until they dont.
@@Cortesevasive Actually they do pay still. For the fact that Tyrion lives at the end of the show.
“A common saying but not their official motto.”
@@dillonpereira4195 Correct, their saying is “Hear me roar.”
Now THESE are the Lion Crested Lannister helms
Those modern helms with the swinging pieces covering the eyes were kinda weird and not as robust as this practical early age
Old Lannisters have better appearance than last ones
Mostly bc back then, the gold mines were flowing and weren’t dry like in GOT
A Lannister always pays their drip
“The Lannisters send their regards.”
The song used in this show is foreshadowing Tywin’s coming……foreshadowing House Lannister’s betrayal of House Targaryen in Robert’s rebellion
Hear me Roar
To remember the mighty Tywin!
The Lannister infantry is less heavily armored than in Tywin's time.
Like its some 200 years earlier, love it
'One should be wary when crossing a lion of Casterly Rock'
team green are more entertaining to watch tbh
Very true
Agreed. The show runners basically picked a side by making the blacks more 'likeable' making them quite boring.

I'm so happy they didn't opt for some new theme. THIS is their theme, enough with the whole anachronism crap!

It's possible in ASOIAF canon the melody is much older than The Rains of Castamere lyrics. At least that's what I tell myself.
The Vlandian army arriving at Sargot preparing to invade Batannia
Thanks for this one!
This scene ist maybe building Up Battle of the red fork for season finale?
You're welcome :) I hope, so we have something as good as the battle at Rook's Rest
This is wonderful! Lannisters always be so mighty!
(would you consider doing Alicent and Criston's goodbye? That was beautiful piece of music.)
Thank you :) I will take a look
Rains of Castamere before massacre of House Reyne... Congratulation for anachronism!

Lannisters may not yet the richest in this period, but they still have the bling and the Lions.
Yeah Velaryons and Hightowers were the richest
