Wow! This is the kind of vlog that could convert anyone into a baseball fan for life! Fantastic footage of the game but there was so much more to a visit to Fenway. Wonderful crowd rooting and singing! Thanks, Jordan. Just loved this! (Sigh...)
I grew up in Boston and my Dad took me to the '67 World Series at Fenway. In 1973, I caught a pop fly Luis Aparcio hit over the Dugout. When I was growing up, Tony Conigliaro and Johnny Pesky both lived on my street. Bet you had an AWESOME time at the game, Jordan! Hope you and Jah have a wicked cool visit to Beantown!!!
The Statue that says teammates, is Ted Williams, Johnny Pesky, Dom Dimaggio and Bobby Doerr. And the Muppet you referred to is "Wally the Green Monster". Since the Mid-60's win or lose the fan come out and support their team. I was a contract worker there doing work down on the field that afternoon before their big comeback with Dave Roberts stealing second that lead to them coming back and winning 4 in a row in 2004!!!⚾🏆
Thank you Jordan.. my late husband who was such a huge baseball fan went with me in 2010 and we took a guided tour of the stadium he was so excited about seeing the green monster and we were in that gift shop with all the Red Sox memorabilia.. thanks you reminded me of our trip there he loved it so.. he's been gone 10 years this year
Hi Jordan! Loved the video. Fantastic job. Loved hiw you captured Fenway park In Its every essence. Can only Imagine the excitement of the smell of the ballpark outside and In with food aroma and taking In the sights of a great historical ballpark. Love how you Incorporated the scenes of the game. It was a great job. You looked like you had a great time. Something about It all makes us feel like kids. And to top It off going to Cheers. As always fantastic job.
This is an old historic beautiful ball park with rich history it's definitely on my bucket list. My parents visited it back in 2010 and took me home some goodies.
It is a great video and hope there are more Massachusetts and New England videos to come. There is SO MUCH in Boston, outside of Boston. Boston has been so sanitized - it had a real humanity, an edge to it when I was a kid - very gritty. Still, it has a lot to see. The Bulfinch house, the state house, Beacon Hill, the north end.
So true. I remember Boston as a kid in the 70s and 80s. Definitely had an original vibe and grittiness that is as you said sanitized. Still a wonderful city with so much history and stuff to do and see.
Absolutely right! Today, sports announcers still try to paint Boston as a “blue collar town.” That hasn’t been true since at least the early 90s, but it used to be, without a doubt. Fenway, particularly, has been sanitized. But, there is still a lot of good stuff to see.
A great Baseball Park with rich history. I'm sure you had a excellent time at Fenway. If you can come visit Wrigley Field, you will have a great time there. Thankfully the last 2 remaining Parks that Babe Ruth played at have been preserved for history. Great job on the Vlog!!
I haven't even watched this vlog yet and I'm sitting here with tears in my eyes. What a blessing ! This is a desire of my heart . ❤ The first time I went to Boston was the same year they broke the curse . I like to think I brought them some luck and forgiveness. Thank you, thank you, thank you ! 🦁❤👍👍😎
I used to work at Fenway park. My office overlooked the street and on home game days the food carts would be grilling up real Italian sausages that were incredibly good. The smell would waft up through my window and I could not resist going down to purchase one. At my lunch break I would go into the park and run the field. The maintenance guys would let me use the locker room showers. I loved that I was standing in the the Red Sox locker room. Fenway is an amazing park that you have to experience to understand.
Great seat for a great game as The Red Sox seem to be warming up with the summer weather. Yankees played 2 yesterday & scored 1 run total while being swept by The Chi Sox. Awesome 👌 footage 👍
Fenway Park is a must have experience for any baseball fan no matter what team you cheer for. I went there back in 2019 and had the best experience as a longtime fan of the Red Sox. Jordon I hope you had a great time at this beloved ballpark!
HEY, JORDAN & JAH Well you're frist time in Boston Mass and at Fenway Park and your frist time Seeing the Big Green monster all so Very cool and they Even got the win what A Night and then Going to the TV Sitcom show CHEERS What an awesome day You had Ok Take care stay safe and will see you on the next video
You went to my favorite ball park. I live near Boston and the Sox are my team. Been going there since 1960.😁♥️🧦Thank you for the awesome video. I’m glad they won for you♥️⚾️💙😁
What a great day. I hope you had a blast. I got to go to the pub when I went to see the Titanic exhibit in 1998. I don't remember a gift shop , though. I would have loved that. It probably came later. Isn't the name of the pub The bull and finch? You're right. It seemed so different and such a tiny place but with a ton of character. What a great day, that and Fenway. Thanks for letting us tag along Jordan. Blessings - Judith 🎭🎵
If you look up and over the left centerfield wall, you'll see the billboard that says Fanatic. They used to put grease all over the frame so people couldn't climb up there and watch the game. Here's a true story. I was 1 years old and my brother's friend was 14. It was the 1975 World Series. Boston vs. Cincinatti. Loius Tiante shut down the Reds in game 1 and We scaled that billboard and watched the game. View wasn't all that great nor was the beaten my father gave me when I got home... lol Good memories. The CITGO sign is just as famous as Fenway.
Oh my gosh Jordon each episode just surpasses the last. Thank you, thank you so much for this episode. I used to play soft ball here in Adelaide & this had always wanted to go to a baseball game in the States. I absolutely loved you taking is to the game & allowing n us to watch it with you. I found my self getting a little vocal with certain parts of the game. Thank you & kind regards from Adelaide, South Australia.
That’s so awesome you got to visit Fenway. So much history in that ballpark. I’m glad you mentioned Manny Ramirez going into the scoreboard..the start of Manny being Manny lol
Love this video most of all, as a native! Moreover looks like it was a great game. Boston always has had loyal fans as we see in the video. Been to Fenway many times and saw some things here I’d never seen or noticed. Thx for this treasure!
Great Vlog! Loved it! Boston is my 2nd favorite team next to my Hometown Orioles! The Statue called Teammates pays tribute to the book and players Ted Williams, Bobby Doerr, Dom DiMaggio and Johnny Pesky. Great Book by David Halberstam.
Teammates, Ted Williams, Dom DiMaggio (Joe's brother), Bobby Doerr and Johnny Pesky. There were close friends. When they knew Ted was ill, Dom, Johnny and Bobby drove to Florida to visit Ted, it was the last time they each saw him. A book was even written about the trip.
Jordan that was great 👍 I'm 62 live in Boston my whole life used to love to take the train to fenway with no tickets but knew you would see a game 5 dollars for the bleachers..haven't been as an adult to expensive..it's to bad..thanks
This popped up on my feed...im originally from Portsmouth RI so a Huge Bosox fan! Great job! .. I'm in Gatlinburg TN Smoky Mountains Park now ..come say hi 🏞️🌄🐻
Such a cool video. I’m mainly a hockey fan but will support my home baseball team the Phillies. I love your baseball videos. I get into them because of your enthusiasm and I actually really enjoy hearing the history of the teams and parks
I love how you geeked out! I’m a huge Red Sox fan and making the pilgrimage from El Paso for my bday to see the yanks n Sox! You made me so pumped to go I know I’m going to be an emotional wreck walking in that stadium! Long story short my uncle died when I was overseas in Iraq I didn’t get to say goodbye. The last thing he gave me when I last saw him was his beloved Red Sox cap with the Sox.. so since then I’ve been a die hard fan
This is great!! Used to go to Fenway a lot when I lived up there. Used to sit in section 32 and 33 a lot. What a special place! Thanks for sharing the Fenway experience and bringing some great memories back.
I so enjoyed this vlog, Jordan! I felt like I was at the game and what a fantastic game it was! What a great day! Thanks for the work you put into this one.

We did get a chance to see that loveable pup taking is daily nap next to his best bud, thanks Jordan for great video.
Lived in the Cambridge / Somerville area for 12 years, Boston is a great sports town. I have always been a Celtics fan even when I was growing up in New York.
Mr. Jordan! Perfect day, perfect seats, and perfect game! What a comeback by the Red Sox. I'm so happy for you, sir. And, Cheers to boot! Peace, from Florida.
Jordan, thank you for that video. As a Red Sox fan that lives in ny, I feel like I’ll never make it to what I call my Graceland. Thank you for sharing this piece of Heaven!!
Hi Jordan, great seeing the old memorabilia and history. Wow, and you got a ball aswell. Really enjoyed watching the game. So glad that you went to 'Cheers', I did think it would be slightly bigger inside than it looked. Great vlog Jordan.
I miss going the the Orioles games in Baltimore and the Bowie Bay sox's, here we have the Jumbo Shrimp (can't wrap my head around that name LOL) Never been to Fenwick Park, thanks for the adventure.
Hey Jordan, Welcome to my home town!! Glad you made it! Those statues were some of the great players of the Sox. You brought them luck, they have a six game win streak going as I write this. Cheers is nothing like the TV version. Go see the Constitution! The oldest commissioned navel vessel! Built in the 1700s!!! Welcome again and be safe! Jeff/Boston.
CHEERS 🍻 Boston REDSOXS 👍 Congratulations 🎊 👏 This was alot of fun fun fun Jordan, really enjoyed the tour and the memorabilia of the stadium 🏟 and the game was fantastic 😀 so much fun.🤗💛👍
Beautiful park. While watching the game, I can't help but wonder how many teams, besides the Yankees, DON'T have the player's last name on his uniform?
Maybe this is how the Red Sox season is going to be this year? Start off very slow and come back and win it all by the end of the season? I can hope. Nice video Jordan! Thanks for sharing Ivo
I’m so glad you made it to my hood, Jordan! If you’re still in town, try to go to the Garden tonight - Celtics playoffs! :) As for Fenway, it’s near and dear to my heart. My dad got his first job there when he was 14 and was there on the day Ted Williams had his last at bat (a home run) in 1960. So glad you got to see them win and also see Cheers! Hi Jordan! Forgot to mention How awesome you found a baseball ⚾️ on your first time there. You know what the odds of going to a game and getting one. I've been there so many times and only have one. You go once and came away with one. How awesome Is that!
If you ever get back to Boston take the tour of Fenway- behind the score board every Red Sox player who ever played at Fenway has signed the wall all the way back pretty incredible
My very first MLB Game was at Fenway last September(More of a Football guy), it was an absolute blast! Unfortunately Boston lost but the experience was well worth every penny! Going to another game next year with the entire family!
As has been mentioned, the Teammates statue represents an iconic group of actual men, in Red Sox lore. The book "The Teammates", written by David Halberstam, is a must read for any diehard member of Red Sox Nation. Here is the Amazon description of the book, cut and pasted. Bobby Doerr, the fourth member of this close group--"my guys," Williams used to call them--is unable to join them. This is a book--filled with historical details and first-hand accounts--about baseball and about something more: the richness of friendship." Fun fact, I was also at that game! RF Box 8, row G, seat 3 😃⚾ Great day at Fenway!
Remember that between 1901 and 1952 Boston had two MLB teams, the AL Red Sox and the far older NL Braves. When the Braves left town for Milwaukee in 1952 BU bought Braves Field and it is still there. You should visit Braves Field in Boston.
