    Great insight
    2nd Main Beach 8-1,
    3rd Debate 8-1,
    7th Shot in the dark
    13th Thorpedo
She can be placed anywhere in the race, Thoropedo will get first run..

Mornin'. 🌞 Did everyone note that the only filly ( "Caitlinhergrtness") entered in the "King's Plate" at Woodbine upset the apple cart yesterday?
I'm with Paul Lo Duca. Thorpedo Anna is the most versatile, most consistent runner in this race. Me: time-and-time again, these horses prove that there's much more to this sport than speed. I think the lass is smarter than all the lads, besides the fact that we've never seen her top speed, or the bottom of her fuel tank.
Fierceness 'might' win... if the gate crew gives him a peppermint just before the gate opens.😏
Interesting trivia: Watching an equine vet/dentist working on sedated horses ... the vet's assistant laughed, and noted that the difference between the males and females is that the females still have some responsiveness under sedation (seen in the eyes), but for males, she said, "there's just nothing there." 😂

david you make the morning line and set 7/2 but in the podcast you say well you prob get 5/2 can you explain yourself on that?

Want to speak for David, but I will say for cards like Saturday he is often asked to produce the morning lines very quickly, and I think he does fantastic job, but there are occasionally races where his opinion changes a little bit from the time he sets the morning line to the race based upon More information that gets added throughout the week. There is also the issue of the horse being cross entered.

Why do you handicappers pick mostly favorites? A Note: If 100 races with favorites run their % of winning is around 33% but non-favorites is around 67%! A little "lopsided" wouldn't you say!

It's a great point! Matthew's Track Stats analyze this as well. For Saratoga favorites have only won 31% of races. But over 67% of winners have been 4/1 or lower, so while picking favorites across the board is a bad idea, generally finding a second or third choice is a viable alternative. There is a constant tug-of-war between trying to pick the highest percentage of winners vs. the best ROI by finding big longshots.

Apologies for my top picks returning $2.12 ROI for the day and for the $23.60 value play winner.
