    First, you will learn about how cilantro grows in the garden and how long the fibers can get when the plants go to flower. You will learn what part of the cilantro plant John likes to juice. You will also learn how John grows parsley to eat and juice in his garden.
    Next, You will learn why John chooses the Sana 727 to juice his functional herbs and leafy greens in the Sana 727 over other juicers. You will learn the benefits that the Sana 727 supreme juicer has over other juicers on the market as well as the brushless DC motor that can operate at 4 different speeds.
    You will learn what John is juicing with his cilantro and parsley to make it work better in the juice and taste better when he drinks the juice. you will learn about the proper ordering to juice these items, and how to properly prepare grapefruits to ensure you get the most nutrition out of them.
    You will then see John juice about 2.5 pounds of cilantro and parsley in the Sana 727 juicer with Cocktail grapefruits and organic cucumbers.
    You will see the results of juicing including learning how wet the pulp is that came out of the juicer as well as how much pulp the juicer put into the juice.
    Finally, John will taste the juice and share the taste of the juice and share his final comments about the Sana 727 Supreme juicer with you.
    After watching this episode you will learn why John chooses the Sana 727 for juicing his cilantro, parsley, herbs, and other leafy greens he grows when he wants to extract the highest quality and most yield using a single auger juicer.

    Wow! I’ve been watching your videos for 10 years, I bought my Omega on your recommendation, and now I’m in the market for one just like this. It must be the juice, because this man never ages!

    • @justinbrink7425

      Gonna be honest... the highest quality juice is made by the Greenstar. Sana probably doesnt match the juice quality

    • @carolinegeary3353
      @carolinegeary3353 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@justinbrink7425 Can you elaborate on why?

    • @justinbrink7425
      @justinbrink7425 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@carolinegeary3353 it just is. I own 5 juicers and the juice quality from the Greenstar Pro is SUPERIOR to all of them. The twin gear design EVISCERATES veggies for maximum extraction for the BRIGHTEST and most VIBRANT juices I have ever seen with the highest nutrient density and lowest oxidation despite the foam it produces. Simply spoon the foam off or drink from a straw and stop sucking when the foam gets to your lips. But do DRINK IT RIGHT AWAY. Oxidation is your enemy. Greenstar is the only MEDICALLY APPROVED DEVICE prescribed to people with chronic disease and even John knows that the juice quality is superior comparatively. Even this new hoax with the vacuum blended juices with the juice bags.. the oxidation is insane with that technique and it shows up as a DARK COLORED JUICE. Sure there is LESS OXYGEN, but that doesn't mean there is ZERO OXYGEN. With the Greenstar the clean up is a little harder, but big whup. You want to drink sub par juice just to save 30 seconds on cleanup? Just because there is a new juicer on the market every year doesn't mean that it's any better than previous models. Some of the juicers are more clever, but the twin gear design is SUPERIOR in every way. You just have to LOOK at the juice. You can see a huge difference. The colors are so vibrant because the cells are RIPPED OPEN. To me quality is way more important than quantity, or speed or cleanup time. I don't make BATCHES anymore. I make my juice ON DEMAND. For me the freshest juice is the best juice because oxidation kills the quality. So I drink my juice even before I do clean up. Upgrading to the Greenstar from any other juicing technique is about the same as upgrading to high octane fuel for your race car that's been used to low grade fuel. Just remember with the Greenstar to NOT STRAIN the juice afterwards.. trust me, this step is unnecessary and undesirable. Any little bit of pulp in the final product is shredded so tiny it's basically mush.

    I love seeing you juice straight out of your garden! You got me inspired to break out my Aerogardens and grow greens during our long, no sun, bleak winter from December through February. Finally, we are starting to see sun again!
    I've got Tatsoi, chijimisai, kale, lettuce, cherry tomatoes, Italian dandelions, swiss chard, and cilantro growing right now. Some in my office, some in my basement. Trying to make space for a few more gardens!
    I've not tried other juicers, but I juice all kinds of stuff in my Sana 727 and haven't made a bad tasting juice yet. Not all are sweet, some are savory, but all delicious!
    Anyway, it's thanks to your videos that I figured out the Sana 727 was best for me. The easy cleaning means I'll whip it out and juice at any point.

We don’t have previous experience juicing but had been interested for years. Finally, we made the decision. Thanks for the tip on how to mellow out the strong tasting herbs without fruit. John , a while back you'd mentioned the Solostar 4 produced the highest yield when juicing straight greens or grasses. It would be appreciated if you're able to do a comparative yield test with the Sana and the Solostar 4.

    Hi John. What do you think about the latest update to the Hurom H22 juicer? It now has a smart auto-feeding hopper. To me it looks like a more premium version of the Nama J2, at about twice the price. But the J2 doesn't have any European resellers, so ordering a Nama J2 to Europe ends up costing about 800-1000 dollars anyways...

    • @discountjuicers

    How would you compare the sana 727 to a double auger juicer for juicing leafy greens? I know they are much more expensive so how close is the sana 727? also do you find a difference using a plastic auger to using a stainless steel auger?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      See th-cam.com/video/ARPi-Ef3NwM/w-d-xo.html for a comparison of the twin gear to the sana 727. The twin gears get a good yield from greens, but the issue when doing them alone is the foam. The twin gear will create more foam = oxygen in juice that causes oxidation. For that reason I would use the Sana 727 at 40 rpm to minimize oxidation when juicing straight greens.

    Hi John. How come you haven't done any reviews on the angel juicer. Would like to know if you recommend it?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I do not recommend the Angel Juicer. My history with Angel goes back 20 years. Its a long story. I would be glad to test and demonstrate them in my videos if they made things right with me. Every juicer has its own set of pros and cons. One thing is clear: if you want the highest nutrition and highest yield; don't buy an angel get a vacuum blender +alexa's bag: th-cam.com/video/CSyS8QJfMNs/w-d-xo.html

  • @pillarsofreligion

    Would you not get a better and quicker result using the vacuum blender and nut bag?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That technique could have also been used on this recipe since it was rich in watery /veggies fruits (grapefruit and cucumbers) that being said, that is more of an involved process, and some people are unwilling or unable to squeeze juice from a bag. Furthermore if you are juicing straight parsley, cilantro and greens (without watery fruits/veg) the Dynapro would NOT work, thus I would choose the Sana 727. My video at th-cam.com/video/7ILENcNpVOw/w-d-xo.html shares the pros/cons of each juicer method.

    Can we get a juice off comparison between Sana and Omega MM1500?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Once Omega sends me the MM1500. That being said, the MM1500 is the NC1000 model, that I already compared at: th-cam.com/video/o6Eu8m7LCbk/w-d-xo.html
      the only difference with the MM1500 is that its the NC1000 with a special restrictor to get a higher yield on CELERY only, so that is the question. That being said the same restrictor on the MM900 model did yiield more juice than the NC800 in my test, BUT the cost was a HOTTER juice and more oxidation in the juice. For that reason, I would personally get the Sana 727 as it can run at 40rpm to minimize heat, oxidation and its made in S. Korea vs China with the MM1500 and Sana has the BEST customer service in the industry, and Based on feedback from customers Omega still needs improvement on customer service, in my opinion.

    How well will this juice machine juice cantaloupe with the seeds?

    • @discountjuicers
      @discountjuicers  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's a good question. Its best to juice FIRM cantaloupe with the rind for the best experience. In general, I do not recommend juicing cantaloupe seeds in a traditional slow juicer, as they can clog/jam the juicer. I have not tried this yet in the Sana 727 to know for sure. The best way to juice cantaloupe with seeds would be in a vacuum blender and then strain, and that is the technique I use when juicing cantaloupe with seeds.

    What's Cilantro when it's at home? Is it an English word? As a chef and a horticulturist I thought this plant was called Coriander. The same word describes the seeds that made up the manna that the Israelites ate in the desert during the Exodus. Should the English Bibles be changing their description to "Cilantro seeds"? At least Parsley seems to have kept its English name.
