About Sips and his theory about transmission. So far there has been no proof that the virus can be transmitted from household pets to humans. The virus did originate from an animal, but it's not that if one snake or bat has the virus, every other snake or bat has the same virus. It's just that one animal had the virus and it mutated in such a way that it could infect humans. And then one human got infected, mainly because those wet markets are just a breeding ground of diseases. But I'm also just someone on the internet so you shouldn't just believe what I say. Stay safe!

imo the worst part of sips' empowerment story about refusing to go to detention is the way that he imagines teachers as some sort of enemy, someone who's in your way and wants to be strict and mean all the time, as if most teachers aren't genuinely kind and helpful people who want the best for their students. The teacher in question probably just assumed that something else was going on with sips at the time and decided that doubling down on the strict attitude probably wasn't going to help whatever was going on. Instead sips read it as a way of becoming a man. I'm usually always on sips' side (even on the microwave boomer device debate) but that is just preposterous even for the 90s

A few time he would then say "you know, those kids could easily skip an entire *day* of school if they'd just learn to shut up while getting away with it" Considering the few times I used a hall pass nobody checked it over carefully, that was probably true.

the way the coronavirus has been handled do not buy stocks yet wait 4-6 months see how the situation is at that time. Maybe invest and only if its a stock that has a long record 5+ years and you can see it has had a consistent performance that it has dropped way below you know those stocks should go back up maybe not to the previous but close sometimes higher. Also do research in the company make sure they will bounce back that they are integral part of the society that will come back once things return to normal. For example I told my parents to invest in EA when it was at $12 after the recession knowing its a game company that wasn't going away its $97 right now was at $140 at one point. Unfortunately I didn't have money to invest and my parents were getting out of the stock market to retire so they didn't invest however i find it to be a great example of stock i think we all agree would have came back and was a great price. Playing the stock market is easy especially after recession's/depressions however you need to know when to get out and not play too long. Research is your best friend though.

Sips is wrong about the middle class. Wealth disparity has risen considerably and the middle class has got relatively poorer since the 1960s.
The generation born 1990-2000 is the first generation which will be poorer than their parents.
Minimum wage has fallen behind inflation while living costs have risen. Unless you are in the top 10%, you are poorer today than you would've been 30 years ago.

The secret is it's more about investments and less about the stocks. Find businesses that haven't gone public, send someone to review their books and make sure they have a realistic plan, and if they do, invest. The trick is that this takes more initial money, but it's pretty common practice for wealthy families.

It reminds me of when IRAs got regulated to hell because the wealthy were putting stocks into them, paying the tax, then revaluing the stocks so the IRA was worth more and they didn't have to pay capital gains tax. After women joined the workforce en masse, Corporations realized they could now charge nearly twice as much for goods and services because families now have two sources of income!

Mr cann was my psycho teacher, He looked like the demon head master and was from germany, Somehow he got to cornwall and used to beat the shit out of me with a blackboard rubber. The weird part was he was an art teacher...You would assume he would be peaceful, I deserved about 20% of the blackboard rubber blitzkriegs i got weekly.
