Athena's intro always changed depending on which sequel & her appearance was different also but she *wasn't the same character* though as Athena was *multiicarnate & had 1 of sibling sisters* enter in her name though. between nearly all 15 of the KOF games in total she's had over... *10+ appearances with only a slew of em actually being her in them* & although she's never won any of em, she still gives her best & is a *handy support* for whoever she teams up with. 😐

The version we played as is a nerfed version athena is a goddess in human form we played as athena in her true form in SNK VS CAPCOM CHAOS
