Dragon Age Origins is one of the best examples of how good Voice Acting can be. However, lets not forget about those people working within the soundstudio. A Voice Actor is only half as good without proper directing, soundmixing and what so ever. :)
Dragon Age and Mass Effect both do excellent jobs. Have to say the Fallout games do it good too. Liam Neeson as the voice of your dad in FO 3? Heck yes lol

That's because bioware actually modeled a lot of the characters after their voice actors. That's why so many of them had such a drastic change from their concept art.
Simon Tempelman And Tim Curry :) smashing combo , hence though Simon has very specific voice that can be recognized troughout many many games he has been doing voice acting love them ,and voice actresses all look so charming :).
DaGreatBeRich actually I use no mods for this game. I don't feel the need to, unlike with Skyrim. I play the gog version od the game with all dlc. And that is what I recommend for you to do. Best experience - "Just stock, no mods".
Robin Sachs - voice in ME2;3 , didn't realise he was also in DA:O. Great actor and Voice - was a great campaign to recognise him when he passed away. Would be amazing if BioWare could insert any left over clippings of him into the next game.
The voice actors can either make or break a game. DA:O was a great game due to many factors, but one of the most important were the VA's. It is good to see the faces behind the characters that we loved and hated. They made the game come to life. Some of the voices I recognized, some of them I didn't. I was genuinely surprised by some of the talents identities. Thank you for illuminating the cast.
Leliana has such a pretty voice... I adore her and her Voice Actor... I'm really glad and really enjoy hearing her in Dragon Age: Inquisition. I hope very much she'll appear in the next game.
Sadly Geraldine Blecker, the actress who voiced Shale, died December 2021. Great performance and defenetly one of the most iconic character in DA series! I remember how curious I was when I found out that the golem was voiced by an actress... May she rest in peace

I also hope it wasn't just me, but Wynne totally calmed me down at the camp with her voice, talking to me about being gay with Zevran after I just finished like 2 hours of being in the deep roads and wanting to shoot myself in the face multiple times.

she does it in all 3 games actually as Flemeth is in DAI as well. I think Bioware prefer to use the same actors for characters if they show up again in future games although they haven't always been able to do it.
If you think that of Shale's voice, then you had to her Lani Minela (Mass Effect 3 Eve's voice actress), it's the only krogan who's voice doesn't needed a filter.
He also does Zaeed, one of my favorites from Mass Effect 2 and 3. Supposedly Citadel DLC for ME3 was dedicated to him, as he died shortly after finishing his lines for the game.
