Fortunately, I have started reading the Savarkar ji book - My Transportation of Life. Just finished The Indian war of Independence 1857 by Veer Savarkar. Earlier, I read BR Ambedkar's Annihilation of Caste and India's Partition -Pakistan. What a Fresh Conversation on Savarkar ji and Ambedkarji. Personally, I found this conversation Very Insightful and Very Engaging and Needed for me. So Many things were already going on in my mind for months. Many things got a new perspective. Thanks for this session.
Dr Ambedkar through his pragmatism established Nationalism against Nehru’s idealism of Nationalism and collaborated too. Dr Ambedkar’s affirmative action got genuine support from Nehru and his successors. Dr Ambedkar was critical of continuity of affirmative actions too which gives him far superior status and thinker and nation builders.
Ambedkar was clearly a visionary and had shown disagreement with divisions of the nation based on religion and caste. Sarwarkar showed massive insight into how some 10000 years of heritage was systematically being undermined despite it having most progressive and earth breaking ideas that are way ahead of the rest of the rest.
@gauraangsonkar Just checked it. The man was not perfect and had misconception about Buddhism, which is part of Sanatan Dharma. Overall, considering the huge prejudicial period, it is understandable. His feeling about ALL man to be equal contradicts what he says about Brahmins. Let us pick the best of these minds. There should be a well expressed idea of nationhood, taking writings of Sarvarkar, Golwalkar, and Ambedkar. The central belief HAS to embrace Sanatana Dharma which has Jainism. Buddhism, Sikhism and Hinduism. Clearly, there is no place for manipulative or coerced propagation of religion as inherrently it has built in intolerance that is anathema to Sanatan Dharma. If they expunge these negative aspects, then they are likely to make a better society.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I saw the parallels between Ambedkar and Savarkar years ago. There's a huge overlap between both their visions for the country and views on caste.
Without addressing the individual aspirations you can not address aspirations of the nation. Assimilation of ideas towards making a strong industrialised society is the only goal which would satisfy the individuals, communities and nation as a whole.

The reason Hindutva is not working with the Dalits is that Hindutva is a social-ritual dead end because of hindu vertical Diversity. Hindutva is merely an initial attractive force for the Dalits where their thirst to get a normal status within hindu society is quenched atleast this is what they hope for, but the bubble breaks when they start interacting with the other hindus which are heavily fed by social conscience which is based on Purity and pollution which creates a rank, which creates vertical identity. Newers generations of SCs might initially get attracted to hindutva but they will always find the hindu society uncomfortable for them because a newer rank identity now called Dalit Identity, will always exist under a pan Hindu society as an unofficial fifth varna, no matter how much they would deny. I think Navayana failed simply because Dr. Ambedkar underestimated Caste with other Indian religions including Buddhism. Dr. Ambedkar should have chosen a complete foreign religion to escape vertical stratification by joining a horizontal one. Choosing Christianity would have done much better in an untouchable's conscience. But now Its a forever burden on Dalits to always remain away from the other hindu society simply because the vertical Identity and diversity cannt be rolled back to where it all began.
Ambedkar was a nationalist person so choosing christianity was against his 'love for India'. As ambedkar said christianity and islam both religions denationalizes a person. The connection with the motherland India is destroyed.

Pitr does not mean Father but it means ancestor or Forefather. I'm pretty sure Savarkar understood it in those terms.

I knew I wasn't crazy when I saw the parallels between Ambedkar and Savarkar years ago. There's a huge overlap between both their visions for the country and views on caste.
Without addressing the individual aspirations you can not address aspirations of the nation. Assimilation of ideas towards making a strong industrialised society is the only goal which would satisfy the individuals, communities and nation as a whole.

The reason Hindutva is not working with the Dalits is that Hindutva is a social-ritual dead end because of hindu vertical Diversity. Hindutva is merely an initial attractive force for the Dalits where their thirst to get a normal status within hindu society is quenched atleast this is what they hope for, but the bubble breaks when they start interacting with the other hindus which are heavily fed by social conscience which is based on Purity and pollution which creates a rank, which creates vertical identity.
Newers generations of SCs might initially get attracted to hindutva but they will always find the hindu society uncomfortable for them because a newer rank identity now called Dalit Identity, will always exist under a pan Hindu society as an unofficial fifth varna, no matter how much they would deny.
I think Navayana failed simply because Dr. Ambedkar underestimated Caste with other Indian religions including Buddhism. Dr. Ambedkar should have chosen a complete foreign religion to escape vertical stratification by joining a horizontal one. Choosing Christianity would have done much better in an untouchable's conscience.
But now Its a forever burden on Dalits to always remain away from the other hindu society simply because the vertical Identity and diversity cannt be rolled back to where it all began.
Ambedkar was a nationalist person so choosing christianity was against his 'love for India'. As ambedkar said christianity and islam both religions denationalizes a person. The connection with the motherland India is destroyed.

😂😂😂 And you don't find contradiction in both statement, In "Pakistan and partition of India" Ambedkar was saying hindu raj is Calamity, and asking for full transfer of population during partition, One will form Muslim nation and another will form "Hindu" Raj or Nation of different Castes.
And in next statement Ambedkar is saying, Their is no such thing as Hindu, these are just different caste groups which only Unites during Hindu Muslim Riots, This state is probably given during the time when he was asking for Seperate electorate for "Depressed classes" Trying to establish the narrative that Hindu is not religion, "Depressed classes" is seperate nation as Muslim is seperate nation from "Hindus", and criticised Gandhi for saying Depressed classes are not seperated from Hindus, and Addressed every Depressed class leader as Gandhi's Stooge who support this idea of Hindus as one Nationality.
So Which Hindu Raj he was Criticising? Gandhi's Hindu Raj (one nationality) or his Hindu Raj of different nationalities (caste)
