If this is true, I might have to consider relocating to a different country. Paying a 10% tax on my freelancing earnings doesn't seem reasonable. Many countries now offer digital nomad visas, which are quite attractive for freelancers earning well, as they provide tax-free status for freelancing income. Bali has gained popularity for this reason. It's disheartening to see that, in Bangladesh, we often resort to unofficial ways to receive foreign income. Isn't it time for a more supportive approach?
