Funny you should mention them singing happy birthday, just got through watching a full concert of theirs someone had posted from New Zealand in 2015, one of their songs they each bring a member of the audience up on stage & they sit on bean bags and sing together (they passed a phone along each pair recording a short bit each, I assume they used to share them on Snapchat or something) one of the girls said it was her birthday & they broke into a spontaneous rendition of Happy Birthday (with audience of course), I'd guess it wasn't the first time they'd done it in a show, anyway...pretty sure it was the best version of it I've ever heard! I've never wanted to dance to it before, put it that way. That whole concert was awesome too (the person who filmed it was an absolute champ, kept their phone held up for the whole thing, they were stood in the VIP pit at the front too so the quality was awesome). But yeah, just though I'd let you know that they _can_ even make Happy Birthday sound awesome.
Pentatonix prefers the term band. Their instruments just happen to be their voices.

Can someone out there please help me, as a while back I listened to Avi doing an original song I believe it had in the title the word "Rising" - I would love to see a link directing me to that monster of a song. It has a certain intensity which makes a person wish to go out and hunt grizzly bears barehanded!

There are a few instances when a cello or violin is added into the mix. The Beatboxer extraordinaire is also a very accomplished Cello player. He will bring out the cello on a few songs, and they will partner up with Lindsey Stirling and her violin. Check out their cover of Radioactive...You will be impressed.

"Run to You" was written by Kevin and Avi and they brought it to the group. "Standing By" and "Light in the Hallway" are similar in exploring emotional themes.

Their medleys really show how amazing their arrangement skills are. From the very beginning, they've been experts at blending different songs. On the Sing Off, they combined Cee Lo Green's "Forget You" with Kelly Clarkson's "Since You've Been Gone," and the result is just - perfection.

Scott is considered one of the World's best Baritone Voices. I think everyone of them is incredible. I have a great poster from their 2019 Concert. They are so prolific in their music, that their concerts are amazing. I am a McCURLEY with ancestors from County Cork.
