I also made the move to Portugal, currently living in Lisbon - I have never been happier in my entire life, it is a beautiful country with beautiful people. Best of luck with the move, my only advice is to expect things to take 3x longer than you think it should (including grocery shopping, eating out etc). You learn to love the slower, more intentional pace ❤️

Also they are very popular lately which doesn't amaze me, they bring value to the viewer! So yeah, keep them coming :) On a different note, we do not need glamour in our life to feel fulfilled, moments like you had with your family are enough! I used to take my family for granted but not anymore, I value every moment with any of them as I don't know when I will lose all this! Nothing is to be taken for granted and life must be lived to the fullest and we must remember that we do not take anything with us at the end of our life, we only take our memories! At the moment I live a life that doesn't match my inner needs but this will change, I am getting ready for a huge life change, I realised that the main thing for me is to feel alive and satisfied with what I do and that requires huge changes but I'm ready for it, I am not willing to make compromised anymore. I love the way you live simple. What i've found with people is that they show things on social media, doing things but with very little peace of mind. I believe that simple living, gratitude/ being happy with/ for what we have, practicing the knowledge that we don't really have anything, nothing truly belongs to us as its temporary- life is temporal etc, even in the midst of riches, 5 star living etc, is key to a happiness and contentment.

I live in a new country and everyday is an adventure. I want to live my whole live in New places and I want to even die one day exploring and being on an adventure. I don't want any material stuff, take it all away. I am happy with memories, my forever changing environment and my desires to continue living this life of minimalism, freedom and adventure.

I was crying this time because i was overwhelmed with the work that i need to do, i live in a 3rd world country, and from a poor average family, and every day is a battle to survive, i am so tired mentally drained. To say we are having a cultural shock here is an understatement, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to live in another country, learn a different languages and make so many friends. My dream has always been traveling and getting to know new horizons. For now, my parents are older and their health is not good, so we are here enjoying them. We paid a price, nothing is free. Every decision we make has a cost that has to be paid. I wish you the best in your new adventure. I remember the excitement of discovering new thing and new places in the US. So happy for you both! I actually teared up when you finally got your visa’s. I only got to travel a little over the years, 11 or 12 times doing missions in Haiti and a vacay to Israel. Looking back, I wish we had made an effort and priority out of travel. It changes and deepens us. Unfortunately, it is financially out of reach for us, and that saddens me, but I am living in a beautiful place and choosing to make the most of each day! No matter where we live, no matter what our circumstances, we can choose to find joy and be thankful to God for this precious gift of life!

I love the way you live simple. What i've found with people is that they show things on social media, doing things but with very little peace of mind. I believe that simple living, gratitude/ being happy with/ for what we have, practicing the knowledge that we don't really have anything, nothing truly belongs to us as its temporary- life is temporal etc, even in the midst of riches, 5 star living etc, is key to a happiness and contentment.

I've never moved from a city where I was born, so possibly it's better to keep things how they are... Recently I came across your channel and thought: is this a coincidence or a sign of fate? And your words "Never settle for anything less than what you think you deserve" touched my heart deeply! I live in a new country and everyday is an adventure. I want to live my whole live in New places and I want to even die one day exploring and being on an adventure. I don't want any material stuff, take it all away. I am happy with memories, my forever changing environment and my desires to continue living this life of minimalism, freedom and adventure.

My husband and I moved from Chile to the US and after 12 years we came back to Chile with 2 little kids. To say we are having a cultural shock here is an understatement, but I am so grateful for the opportunity to live in another country, learn a different languages and make so many friends.
My dream has always been traveling and getting to know new horizons. For now, my parents are older and their health is not good, so we are here enjoying them. We paid a price, nothing is free. Every decision we make has a cost that has to be paid.

So happy for you both! I actually teared up when you finally got your visa’s. I only got to travel a little over the years, 11 or 12 times doing missions in Haiti and a vacay to Israel.
Looking back, I wish we had made an effort and priority out of travel. It changes and deepens us.
Unfortunately, it is financially out of reach for us, and that saddens me, but I am living in a beautiful place and choosing to make the most of each day! No matter where we live, no matter what our circumstances, we can choose to find joy and be thankful to God for this precious gift of life!
