We were taught to respect each other..to be kind to those that didn’t like us….and if you couldn’t say something nice, not to say anything at all! I am so sorry you had to experience what you did! Growing up on the Gulf Coast and going through more hurricanes than I like to think of, I can relate so well to what they are experiencing! I know it is much worse than what we are seeing..also my son works for the power company and he is in Georgia…has been there for 9 days…they are working 18 to 20 hours a day…there are still people that love each other…praying for all of us🙏❤️🙏

I've been subscribed to Danny and Wanda's channels and seen you as moderator on their Deep South livestreams for a long time, but I just came upon your channel and subscribed when you posted that video about Helene. I'm in Western NC and we came through Helene OK but our neighbors are hurting so much right now. Too many people have lost everything and it's so overwhelming. We've spent every day since the storm passed trying to help our friends in the mountains in any way we can and also working to make ourselves better prepared for the next storm. I've watched a lot of videos about Helene the last few days and when I look at the comments I see a theme. I believe there is an effort by paid actors and/or bots to seek out videos on the hurricane like yours and make those foul divisive comments. Different accounts are making nearly identical comments on other videos. It feels like someone is trying to upset us on purpose or discourage us by kicking us while we're down. You did right to take down the worst ones. Don't take what they wrote to heart too much-- you said nothing wrong in my view. The soup looks delicious! I pray your hand heals up completely and that cyst just shrinks away on its own by the next appointment...and then you can share the miracle with your dr and rejoice. God Bless you!

I know what they are going through, my sister and her husband was trapped in the Helene hurricane! Didn't hear from them in four day's. I was panicking! when she was finally able to get a signal and call me, I melted and was praising god.

I have never had cabbage soup. Sounds great! And welcome to all the new friends on your channel! ❤ As for the rest, people will need to be able to count on as well as focus on neighbors, friends and family when things get tough….because that is who will be there with them and who will care about their outcome. If it isn’t mutual, it won’t work. I’ve walked away from a few of those in “good” times. Acting petty and childish instead of having adult conversation was the root cause.
And the worst part of all this is - people are fighting to stay alive with these storms, some are waiting rescue and some folks take the time to throw insult towards another. Sad Times and unsettling time we all are living. 🙏🇺🇸❤️

I have to tell you, I canned your sweet heat Cajun pickles this year, first time every trying them. I had the same problem with my hand that you have they called it a gangling cyst. They did have to operate on mine and remove it. I now can move my thumb, my wrist and everything, but what helped me with the pain in it before surgery which I pray, you don’t have to have is putting heat on the cyst. It relieved the pain in my hand. I hope and pray that your cyst goes down on its own and honey. You say what you wanna say because I agree with everything you said.

Good Morning Ms Carolyn, if you make the soup one day, try soaking your cut up cabbage is a large bowl of ice water for a hour. Something about the ice will help digest the cabbage. I learned this from my Uncle Percy many years ago and it did make a world of difference. 🌷❤️❤️❤️❤️

I've got chicken and potatoes in the crockpot for supper but am going to get a batch of cabbage soup made so it can marry overnight and be yummy for tomorrow and the rest of the week. So sorry that you have had ugly comments to deal with, I'll never understand how sitting behind a screen makes folks think they can behave that way. We're having a frost tonight so I've been working to pull all the tomatoes and then get the peppers and celery covered. Plus I grabbed up all the nicest comfrey leaves to make some poultices for the freezer. Still praying for Helene's victims and the folks dealing with Milton now. Hope your surgeon can help you with that cyst without surgery. My mom had a surgery once and developed a cyst that was simply just drained with a syringe twice and then it went away on its own.

Nice so I have a head of cabbage as well, but I don’t know if you ever heard but we make this thing. It’s a soup. It’s beef Caldo.., made from beef shank, you boil till tender, and the broth that comes out of that boiling you put in cabbage, onion, bell pepper, carrots, celery, red potatoes, bitty corn on the cob you know a little little bitty ones throwing some garlic, onion, salt, pepper to taste fresh garlic, and you let it cook your tent to your veggies get to the tender you want. I actually threw some green beans because they come out of my garden, I didn’t have carrots, but I’m OK. I have the cabbage and the potatoes and everything else and so we will be having that so it’s it’s like a cabbage soup with vegetables and we’re a little under the weather here at the house so decided to make that because it’s got so much nutrition with all the veggies and everything and it’s gonna be good. It’ll be ready in about an hour and we’ll have that for dinner. 🥘 🌱

I know what they are going through, my sister and her husband was trapped in the Helene hurricane! Didn't hear from them in four day's. I was panicking! when she was finally able to get a signal and call me, I melted and was praising god.
My niece and the kids are in Orlando stuck, please pray for everyone in this path!

As for the rest, people will need to be able to count on as well as focus on neighbors, friends and family when things get tough….because that is who will be there with them and who will care about their outcome. If it isn’t mutual, it won’t work. I’ve walked away from a few of those in “good” times. Acting petty and childish instead of having adult conversation was the root cause.
And the worst part of all this is - people are fighting to stay alive with these storms, some are waiting rescue and some folks take the time to throw insult towards another. Sad Times and unsettling time we all are living. 🙏🇺🇸❤️

I had the same problem with my hand that you have they called it a gangling cyst. They did have to operate on mine and remove it. I now can move my thumb, my wrist and everything, but what helped me with the pain in it before surgery which I pray, you don’t have to have is putting heat on the cyst. It relieved the pain in my hand. I hope and pray that your cyst goes down on its own and honey. You say what you wanna say because I agree with everything you said.
Ms Cindy, he had to drain it yesterday and then we will follow up and hope that took care of it. I can start back with Pt next week. 🥰❤️

Good Morning Ms Carolyn, if you make the soup one day, try soaking your cut up cabbage is a large bowl of ice water for a hour. Something about the ice will help digest the cabbage. I learned this from my Uncle Percy many years ago and it did make a world of difference. 🌷❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hope your grandson feels better soon. I've got chicken and potatoes in the crockpot for supper but am going to get a batch of cabbage soup made so it can marry overnight and be yummy for tomorrow and the rest of the week. So sorry that you have had ugly comments to deal with, I'll never understand how sitting behind a screen makes folks think they can behave that way. We're having a frost tonight so I've been working to pull all the tomatoes and then get the peppers and celery covered. Plus I grabbed up all the nicest comfrey leaves to make some poultices for the freezer. Still praying for Helene's victims and the folks dealing with Milton now. Hope your surgeon can help you with that cyst without surgery. My mom had a surgery once and developed a cyst that was simply just drained with a syringe twice and then it went away on its own.

Nice so I have a head of cabbage as well, but I don’t know if you ever heard but we make this thing. It’s a soup. It’s beef Caldo.., made from beef shank, you boil till tender, and the broth that comes out of that boiling you put in cabbage, onion, bell pepper, carrots, celery, red potatoes, bitty corn on the cob you know a little little bitty ones throwing some garlic, onion, salt, pepper to taste fresh garlic, and you let it cook your tent to your veggies get to the tender you want. I actually threw some green beans because they come out of my garden, I didn’t have carrots, but I’m OK. I have the cabbage and the potatoes and everything else and so we will be having that so it’s it’s like a cabbage soup with vegetables and we’re a little under the weather here at the house so decided to make that because it’s got so much nutrition with all the veggies and everything and it’s gonna be good. It’ll be ready in about an hour and we’ll have that for dinner. 🥘 🌱
