    this is the great thing about artie - hes lived on the precipice (sp??) of life and i love that millions of people who live a safe life (including me) have nowhere near the amount of amazing experiences - ok hes had drug problems but seriously his stories are fucking mental!

      Amal Mavani 11 years later, I can verify you spelled precipice correctly 😂

    "you're the rodney king of comedy"

    Hard to believe that Artie outlived Brittney Murphy.

      And Amy winehouse, but there were probably betting odds on that one

      Amy Winehouse was way beyond Artie lol. She was a totally hopeless wreck.

      And Norm Macdonald

      Bob Saget, Gilbert Gottfried, Louie Anderson. Artie is the Keith Richards of comedy.

      A gambler is confident he is right and willing to take a risk.

    This would have been a great video to watch if someone could have filmed it.

    @Dibrini Oh im sorry, didn't know I was writing you an essay professor, but it still doesn't dismiss your benevolence towards Artie Lange.

    Imagine if Artie stayed in Jersey as a longshoreman, probably no drugs and rehab stuff. Wife, kids, good life.

    @jdaking1
    Benevolence means "disposition to do good" jdaking1.

    If your life is so empty you fight boredom with gambling, you're on the other side of fucked up.

    I'd give anything to hear the judge during the arraignment; "Mr. Lange, what you have done is reprehensible. Your reckless actions have broken many laws, upset the peace of this city, and put the lives several people in danger, including your own. However, in light of the fact that you were schedule to do a sketch with Harry Connick Jr., I hereby drop all the charges. "

    • @caniican

      .... or the judge might say in light of the fact that you are a celebrity I'm going to let you off with a warning if you can get me some tickets for the taping of Regis and Kathie Lee

    The dude with the sound effects was probably the worst part of the Stern show.
