I was staying on the west side of Omiya station when I went on my recent trip during the holidays. I remember all my morning walks to the station from my hotel next to ビックカメラ. This makes me miss it so much! Thanks for the upload!
Very good video!! I lived one year in Saitama in 2001 (exchange student). Omiya was the meeting point for the 22 exchange students group. This video brought happy memories to me. Japan is my grand parents homeland.

I live in Omiya. Actually, Urawa people say “We have city hall. So Urawa is more important than Omiya in Saitama.”But I think this opinion is wrong. Omiya is full of more activity than Urawa.Omiya has many restaurants, clothes shop, cafe and pub.Much people who live in Saitama don’t trend to like Urawa but Omiya. So Omiya is better than Urawa.
Before I shot this video, I thought Urawa was the center of Saitama too because the prefecture government office is there. But I have to agree that Omiya is much bigger and there are a lot of activities here. Thank you so much for watching! 😄

You’ll have to do one day of the town itself then a evening video of the shrine area. You may have to take a calr up since it’s a little hilly. HK did a good job but not a lot of the town itself. They need to have a rental place for 🛵🚗. to go up to the shrine. ⛩ Also please pull over for 🚑🚒🚔 if you can. 👍📸🇯🇵
