Thank you for sharing about your trip to Greece. I have enjoyed traveling with my mom as well. I really think your socks will block out beautifully, and your colorwork looks very nice. I'm excited to see if you have enough yarn for your bookclub cardigan. It's too bad that everyone has been running out. Your cats are adorable and as a cat lover myself I'm sure that would be one of my favorite parts of Greece as well. Happy Knitting!❤🧶
Thank you for the video💜 love the cotton top🤩 You're being to hard on yourself about the socks. The colorwork is turning out beautifully! You should absolutely do the all over colorwork next. Greece seemed like a lovely trip💜 thank you for sharing
Enjoy your podcasts ♥️ I do some colorwork socks and I find the only way that works for me is increasing the stitch count that aligns with chart or adding a few stitches between motives and going up a needle size to get a fit that goes over heel and instep but decreasing back down to original number for my foot. I enjoy doing toe-up method if chart is going the right direction . Hope this helps
Loving the knits and I loved hearing about the books you’ve been reading. Tress ended up being one of my favorite books after my husband made me read it. 😂 Also, the Greece trip sounded amazing! I love my neighborhood cats, and have taken several in from the street, because I’m a major sucker, but they are quite terrible for the environment, which is a big reason Americans are so sensitive about them. They’re one of the biggest reasons we have lost so many songbirds in the states.
Another thing. Denise deSantis, Earthtones Girl on TH-cam has a whole Fearless Sock Knitting series that was also very helpful for me. I do contrast heels, and toes following her method. It is a bit fidly at first, but I just slowed down and was successful. Good luck. It is a lot of fun.
I just read The Lion Women of Tehran! I would highly highly recommend The Stationary Shop by Marjan Kamali. It is one of my favourite books of all time.
it may be fine fitwise if the colourwork section looks bigger than the rest when you block it it will even out. colourwork is significantly tighter than stockinette usually especially in such a small circumference

Thanks Jackie! All great advice. The pattern I used did add stitches to the colorwork portion.

Tress is such a good book!
Thats true. Cats are horrible for birds and lizards. Such adorable little psychopaths.
@@KnitCheek They absolutely are! I wouldn’t trade my little psychopaths for the world. 🥰

Take a look at the podcast “Clo Knits” regarding colorwork. She gives some tips and the one thing you absolutely must do. It really helped me.
Thanks for the tip! I've added it to my watch later playlist.

I made the 2nd sock and it’s much better 🤗
You're being too hard on yourself about the sock. It's gonna turn out ok! 🩷
Thank you ! 🥰
