Just one question in connection with Highwayman Ned King, I always thought of him as operating from the Punch Bowl Inn, or was that formerly the Bluebell ? Keep up your good work.
I once lived in the village & drank a pint or two in the swan, never saw anything strange. I worked at the Calderstone hospital in the 80s, which was haunted. I often walked in the area hoping to meet a witch or a ghost. But never did. It is a truly beautiful area.
