It’s a very exciting time of year…May the Fourth has arrived and we are in full swing of Season of the Force at the Disneyland Resort! I went to Galaxy’s Edge at Disneyland to celebrate Star Wars Day on May 4, 2024. Disney has released special food offerings on May 4 throughout Galaxy’s Edge at Docking Bay 7, Kat Saka’s Kettle and Ronto Roasters and I made sure to try every single food item! I also went to Oga’s Cantina to get a very special souvenir Loth-Cat Mug.
There is also always a gigantic merch drop for May the Fourth so I explored what merchandise they had in Tomorrowland and at Star Wars Trading Post in Downtown Disney. They are celebrating the 25th anniversary of The Phantom Menace so there is a whole collection of merch attached to that. A new popcorn bucket was also released and is available at Galactic Grill and in Galaxy’s Edge. This Salvaged Stormtrooper Helmet Popcorn Bucket looks amazing and is sure to sell out so grab it while you can!
Also, I went to The Golden Horseshoe to see the piano performance one last time as this was the very last weekend that Disneyland will offer the piano player entertainment at this location. It was really emotional to see and I am thankful to the cast members who performed there.

Thank you for sharing the Golden Horseshoe’s last performance. I have never gone past the threshold at Golden Horseshoe and now I’m heartbroken I never got to see that act in person. I feel blessed to have seen it here!

Aww man, we were there same day! I always try to keep an eye out for your tucked away corners LOL. We saw the "Goslings" wandering in front of Small World, it was a great day even with the crowds. Perfect weather!

I was conflicted on the mug also, main complaint is the font, but great characters & resistance symbol. Oh wow, I sure hope they bring back live Golden Horseshoe. I'll tell you what, I will post something nice on her next video post; I hear it helps with the algorithm." You are our favorite Disney California Resorts influencer. We look forward to your post, and your work always makes us feel happy as we look forward to our next trip to Disneyland (and DCA). Oh, you might have a scoop on this; did you notice that there is a TARDIS right outside of Earl of Sandwich. My wife Stacy always comments on how the average IQ of the parks increases on Star Wars events; but when I shouted, "Is that the Tardis?" She replied, "The average IQ has already gone up another 20 points."

Hey Lisa! I also love Gonk droids and thought I would nerd out for a second. Gonk droids are basically big batteries that can shuffle along. Around Batuu they are powering the radio antennas. I think the thing sticking out of the back is a charging cable… not sure why it’s broken though! Maybe someone else knows that one!

It is so depressing to not have entertainment at Golden Horseshoe. I used to love stalking the stage side booths so I could sit there by myself and enjoy an ice cream and a show whenever I went by myself. Like it was literally my day off plan and it was my favorite place in all of Disneyland. I was so sad when The Laughing Co was closed and then there was nothing until the piano player showed up and he's cool, but still not the same as an actual stage show with improve and guests. It's legendary and so sad Disney today doesn't show it the love it deserves. Shows were always full.

Isn’t that so sad about the Golden Horseshoe piano player?! The Golden Horseshoe will feel so empty now! I hope the piano players are going to be performing elsewhere in the park, but I will really miss seeing them there 😭

It wouldn't take much for Disney to make Gonk suits for their cast members and have them occasionally walk through the Batuu. It would add to the immersion of the land and would take very little effort on their end.
We went and saw the Golden Horseshoe piano players quite often - that stinks they're not going to be there anymore.

I loved this one Lisa with an abundance of ducks and geese oh my! We had a piano player at the Refreshment Corner on 5/2. Do you know if all of them are leaving or just at the Golden Horseshoe? Tongue twister for you... Say “Liking Lego Logo” real fast three times 😵💫

They are a Disney Nuisance and they eat the eggs from the regular ducks. Disney doesn't know how to get rid of them. The duck population has gone down because of them

@@Lisaoflisaland my daughter works in Fantasyland and she stated that the 1's who hang around the Rivers of America are always destroying the duck nest and the eggs to put there own. They are very invasive everywhere they go. Love all your videos!!!!
