The Dewantha ship is sailing! Did anyone else see how Avantha reacted when Dewni said her father hit her because of him? It was as if he felt her pain. ❤ Then his voice completely changed to a softer tone as he tried to comfort her. So sweet. Super keen to see what happens next. Dewini Inima - the second innings. Ravi and Udeni could not achieve their love, but there is a second chance through Dewni and Avantha. ❤
yeah I kept replaying that part. I also remembered one time Sheran saying to Sufras that Avantha used to hit Samalka. So it was really nice to see his reaction when Dewmi said her dad hit her. Cuz he never showed compassion towards Samalka to the point he never even minded hitting her. Since for the first time he feels bad, that tells us, he would never physically harm Dewmi in anyway and will always protect her. ❤ his reaction was the best

දැනුයි කතාවේ story line එකක් කියල දෙයක් තියෙන්නෙ. හැමදාම දකින ඇඩිල්ලට වඩා ඒක කොච්චර හොඳයිද. බලන්නත් ආස හිතෙනවා. මම නම් මේ දවස් ටිකේ episodes repeat කර කර බැලුවා. ඇත්තටම ඒකට ප්‍රශංසා කරන්න ඕන නයනතාරාටයි කෙශාන්ටයි. ඒ දෙන්නගේ acting නම් සුපිරි. 😍👍 කතාව ඉවර වෙනකල් දෙව්මි අවන්තගේ scenes දිගටම පෙන්නුවොත් හොඳයි.

That phone call was the best part of todays episode. You can tell Dewmi wasn't just hurt by Ananda uncle hitting her, she was upset because in a way she trusted Avantha and really believed that underneath all that tough guy there was good. I guess she was depressed since he let her down. And its refreshing to see for the first time Avantha feel guilty for something, I loved the fact when Dewmi told him that Ananda uncle hit her, he put down the phone for a sec, as if he couldn't handle what happened to her. Anyways loving the story so far, and can't wait for the upcoming episodes. #DewanthaFTW

කතාවක් තියනවා නරක කෙනෙක් ඇත්තට ආදරේ කරන්න පටන් ගත්තම ඒක හොඳ කෙනෙක්ගේ ආදරේට වඩා powerful කියලා. ඒ වගේ දෙයක් තමයි මේ කතාවෙත් වෙන්නේ. අනුහස් සමල්කට ආදරේ කලාට එයාට ලිහිණි එක්කත් මොනා හරි affection එකක් තියනවා. ඒත් අවන්ත දැන් කැමති දෙව්මිට විතරයි. එයාගේ love life එකේ දැන් වෙන අය නෑ. 😍😍😍😍

Today's episode literally made me feel like walking on a tightrope, like seriously! Regardless, I still loved it by the way (because of Dewantha that is)~ ❤ The scene where Ananda uncle got angry & how he hit Dewmi was so realistic, their acting (including Udeni & Dewmi's mom) was in fact superb. Fathers usually adore their daughters & they get equally angry if they find out anything bad happening to their daughters. Ananda uncle's body language & tone showed exactly what would happen in that kind of scenario. He even hit the wall afterwards implying that he's upset at himself for hitting his daughter. Such a lovable father~ Kudos! And Udeni is such an angel!
Awantha & Dewmi's conversation made me both chuckle & wince. Awantha, oh God! His expressions were priceless (and made me squeal internally!). He's already feeling protective of Dewmi. 😍 He knows that he is a bad guy, but he doesn't want Dewmi to get involved with his actions knowing that she would definitely get hurt. He's become that selfless when it comes to Dewmi now (quite unlike of his usual self when it comes to others). It's evident that he has feelings for Dewmi because he cares for her. He's upset with himself for letting Dewmi down. And the way he takes away his phone from the ear when Dewmi said that her dad hit her... Awww! 😍
Finally the preview! Dhanuka going to Fernando's house basically means Ravi is going to know what's happened. Damn, now I'm afraid that he'd break Awantha's other arm, lol. If he doesn't, then Dewmi's dad will, because at the end of the preview Dewmi's getting another call from Awantha /facepalm/. I don't remember getting this excited for 3 consecutive days watching this drama xD This is awesome!

Lakna Ariyasinghe yeah I completely agree, I loved the fact that for the first time Avantha actually indirectly advised Dewmi to stay away from him by saying he is bad news. Usually he makes the attempt to get with girls and go beyond depths for a night out, but with Dewmi, he actually wants to protect her to the point that he is okay that she will be out of his life as long as she is okay. That really shows that Dewmi is not just some random girl to Avantha. And I also commented on how he put down the phone for a sec because he couldn't handle listening to what happened to her.
And tomorrow, I think Avantha will actually try to calm the fight that's about to go down at his house because he knows he was in the wrong. Which is odd because usually when he is in the wrong, he still has an attitude and is willing to fight anyone. But only when it comes to Dewmi, he feels the need to be calm so the situation doesn't become even more worse for her.
Anyways, I'm on the same boat as you, I actually started watching this show live even with annoying adds cuz I couldn't wait for their scenes. Then I come back and rewatch it again. They make this show 1000X better.
Even I noticed the way Awantha took away his phone,cuz he couldn't even wanted to listen to what Dewmi said.He is such a talented actor.Love his expressions so much.Even Dewmi is doing a great job.Well talented.
