I had this set growing up. Got it for Christmas in 2004 and spent hours playing with that clock. I also used to work at a charity shop in Sunderland that got this set in as a donation. It wasn’t complete and didn’t come with minifigures but nostalgia made me buy it. Only cost me £6 for the bag of lego but it was an almost complete clock tower inside. Now I’m watching this back I’m recalling many happy memories of my childhood. Thank you so much for this journey to the past 😍
Aha! I always suspected the thrift store workers were snagging all the LEGO. (Actually, our Goodwills here put them in the auction case. Or else separate them into $8 sandwich baggies so you never get a whole set.) Glad you enjoyed the childhood nostalgia!

I really like this set. The design looks great. Love that it comes with so many playfeatures and proffesor trelawney that is one of the 10 most valuable hp minifigs😁
funny thing about that Dumbledor, is that LEGO was going to make this set (and the other 2004 sets) with yellow figs! The set showcased at ToyFair 2004 had all the characters with Yellow toned skin! But the set looks cool but I feel like everything exciting has been re-done better in more recent sets. Great review though!!
I forgot to include this in the video but the instructions do show a yellow-faced Dumbledore in one of the pictures. Dang, that would have been fun to show!

12:45 you forgot the lore. When serius slashed the painting, it became tilted. 😂 14:30 Trivia answer: Sir Cadogan "and his fat grey pony" is the correct answer btw. I said it out loud but I had to go back to listen to it (Jim Dale is amazing) check 7 mins 15 sec into chapter 9 : Grim Defeat. Book 3 For those of you wanting his minifig i believe it's the 1st hogwarts castle (4709 and 4842), the knight in the set with the visor.
To answer your question of who took over for the Fat Lady, Jeremy, it's Sir Cadogan. He was only seen in the deleted scenes for *_Prisoner of Azkaban_* and was a part of the special features on disc 2 for the DVD.
Lighting is a bit of an investment. I started out with some soft boxes powered by CFL lamps (and still use them) but also now have four LED arrays which output 5600K daylight. They are pricey but here's what I use - www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07B69YXVL
Agree with you. The Clock mechanism is both impressive and takes up too much space, It would have been nice if they included the Infirmary and the Transfiguration class room. I would like to see the Shrieking Shack reviewed if possible!
1 week ago, I bought Sybill Trelawney figure without her pink hat, big clock dish from this set and two of potion printed brown panels also from this set just for 10$. I was so lucky

I think the generic classroom might be the defense against the dark arts classroom. Maybe the reverse side of the blackboard with the skeleton is supposed to be the Boggart in its cupboard.

I do like the Harry Potter reviews, but I would also like to see other themes like city, star wars, creator, etc. Just something different, because even though Harry Potter is my favourite theme and my favourite book and movie series, it would be nice to see other reviews

Fox since Jeremy hasn't replied then I think I can help you a little. As far as I know then Jeremy takes all printed pieces into the water and wash stickered pieces separate by hand, just remember to not have too hot water when washing
